As stated above, another term of use for this is to feature Sekkai's button before we feature yours. You cannot merely put the button in some backwater thread either. We'll host your buttons on our front page, so we expect the same. Most forum hosts have special Affiliation's boxes.

The Story of the Forest of Tears

As many know, foxes and wolves are, or were the main species of the forest. That was back before it all happened. Back when the forest didn't have a name. Then it started.

That season winter came early. It was a cold one too. Of course all the animals were in a panic. There was little food, entire rivers and lakes frozen, and sickness ravaged those weak from hunger and thirst.

Soon there was a theft. A theft of food. It is unclear if the foxes stole from the wolves or the wolves stole from the foxes, but it is clear that both factions were extremely angered. Naturally this would have been wrong, but especially now with all the creatures starving and falling from sickness. The fox tribes and wolf packs bickered constantly.

It was bound to happen, and it did. A pack of wolves and a party of foxes were hunting in the same area and met. They both had come across a simple hare that they both wanted. In rage the two bands attacked each other. The foxes couldn't defeat the strength of the wolf with their speed. All but two were killed. Those two made it back to their tribe.

When the tribe heard of this they began to call together neighboring tribes to aid them. Most of the tribes agreed. The foxes attacked the wolves in revenge. The wolves fought back, but most were slaughtered by the overwhelming numbers. Surviving wolves went to other packs in search of help, and as a warning.

Gladly the other packs complied. Soon blood poured over the snow like thick, red water. After about two years of fighting most prey had left in fear. Survivors of the war had moved on with the prey. Only one wolf remained behind, and a young kit forgotten.

Just now things have begun to get better. Prey has begun to return, the land is starting to look hospitable again. Still one must consider that crows screech over head to remind us of what happened. The forest will see a new age, but will never be how it once was. Will you be part of this new generation?

Neverwinter.... Thats what they call Southern up in the North. This 9th pass has been one of great loss and victory. With all the weyrs returning to Fight our enemy from the skies. But through our many fights... we grew apart. Some of the Old Timers split away from those who wanted the old ways back... finding a crater that formed a perfect place for a weyr...

Thus Neverwinter Weyr was formed. Under tragity a gold was born.. Her chosen Arixar just a child still left to lead a weyr... A dying weyr that most do not know about. Thread has clamed the life of many and now with a Queen at her prime due to rise with in the Turn... Will those Old Timers at Southern Weyr ruin more lives? Will they find away to take Pern back?

....Or will those new Brave souls step up and fight....

Hi everyone! I’m posting in affiliates to let everyone know that Baikal Weyr is searching out Candidates for numerous upcoming clutches! We currently have a small clutch on the sands, plus a fair number of flitter eggs waiting to be hatched! Our queen wher is mid run, so there will be whers to grace the sands as well! Our beautiful queens are nearing their time to rise as well, with strangely beautiful colors and surprises waiting for everyone. Meet new friends at our upcoming Gather, or jump in with an already bonded rider!

Guests are always welcome, with our moderators and admin almost always available to answer any questions or concerns not covered by the information. We’re a fun group, always open to new ideas and would love fresh faces to add to out wonderful collection of roleplayers!

Story: Mystics, the collective name for all magical beings, have lived along side humans since the beginning of time, however time may have begun. Peace was an oxymoron for all who dwell near the humans – the greedy creatures thirsted for nothing more than dominance of the Earth. And yet tolerance existed through out the land of Romania. Humans lived in villages and growing cities, dragons in the high mountains and equines were the skilled watchers of the forests.

This has not changed. The world is open and vast, the skies free. But toleration will not; cannot last much longer. The human population is ever growing, ever changing, conquering and destroying. Existence is becoming difficult for the Mystic races. Existence is becoming difficult for you.

Planet JC - 782, or to the Hives, known as J'karthisss....

Not much is known about this planet besides the obvious 'plague' of Xenomorphs that 'infect' the planet. They are known by Black, Silver, and the human made Hive, Blue. The original was Black Hive but then humans came and altered a black queen to have a silver sheen. They tried to keep them controlled to use them as 'pets' or guard dogs. They would not have it. The Queen fled to the high mountains far away with her king and soon they formed a hive. The black hive is still unaltered and the Blue hive is just now forming...

The planet is about as large as Jupiter but this planet has no oceans. It has many underground rivers and lakes as well and large lakes that could be called small seas. But they are fresh waters. Salt lakes can be found across the deserts in the southern regions of the planet. but many do not go there for they think there is a city of Yautja. They believe this was one of their planets or a training ground for growing Yautja. the Humans are well defended against all would be attackers and so are all the other races.

The planet is also plagued with small showers almost every day. This is why they call it the green planet. It has a belt surrounding the planet and every now and again the orbiting rocks fall to the planet. One would think that a place plagued by Xenomorphs would be void of life but there is plenty of wild game to support life for the hives, humans and Yautja. Then when the humans came they introduced some earth races of plants an animals and they thrived running free and roaming. Now nearly eighty years later the war continues....
