Have a character you just don't want anymore? Here's the place to drop them off. There are three primary options by which to relinquish a character.

As an NPC, a Casualty, or as an Adoptable.

NPCS still exist, but are no longer playable as a character(only as a background individual). Essentially, they can be referred to, used as backup in excursions, ordered around, be part of a wing, but will not be 'played' by a member anymore(meaning 3rd person only for them). Original owner(or in absence of, the administration) holds permissions for this character in reference to severe injury and death. Any member can have the services of regular-ranking NPCs for plots though.

Casualties would be dead(can be in RP or out of RP), meaning that their profiles would be moved to the graveyard, and any in-context reference to them would only be in past, since the character would be officially deceased. Do note, characters moved to the graveyard due to member inactivity can be revived upon request with the return of the owner to activity.

Adoptables are open to another member adopting the rights to the character and making them theirs. Profiles would be moved to the adoptables forum, and for the length of their time there, they are to be treated as NPCs.

Those are the options when abandoning a character. Once a character is abandoned, the only situation upon which you may have the character returned to you, is if you put them up for adoption, and are the first to claim them for re-adoption.
NO NPCs or Casualties may be returned, or played as first-person characters.
