My False Reality, A poem composed by le Moon

[Moonlight]

This isn't a poem that is very typical of me. Maybe. I'm still not sure.

My False Reality

The story - the lie - of my life,
A girl who gets by only to survive;
Yeah, that's me, and this is
My horribly sweet lullaby.

My imperfection is so perfect,
It's just the one thing I can't regret -
So smile while I wish your death
And laugh your giddy goodbye;
Your throat I will slit in your bed.

Love me now and leave me never,
Call me you dead-end lover;
I'm your toxic obsession
Gleeful in your addiction.

I make no sense
But follow me hence
And together we'll cross the limits -
So let's play with the fire
And get lost with each other.

I'm here, but not there,
Never will I be where you are;
Count up to one hundred
And we'll play hide and go seek.

Know that you will never find me
Or the death that you seek,
I breathe the bitter wind
Spreading my false stories;
I'm just your everyday anomaly.

As I've told you before, I typically don't like depressing poems, but you can pull it off marvelously. This poem is definitely one of my favorites that you've written.
