Dominatrix or Lawyer, or even just a Simple Girl? Group: Admin Posts: 37 Member No.: 19 Joined: 9-July 07	Despite common belief, Allie was a sucker for animals. She adored them. Actually, also against common knowledge, she was a vegan. And she never, ever wore leather. Even in the bedroom. Nope, her dominatrix outfits were all vinyl. No leather. She didn't even drink milk. Her diet is why, when she doesn't feel like a one-night stand, she never goes out to dinner. Not even as just friends. She's nearly impossible to feed. All of this goes to say why she accepted this case. For once, she took the prosecutor's side. It was a case of animal cruelty at the zoo. When her clients told her about it, it made her blood boil. She was furious, and immediately accepted the case. Of course, she allowed herself to cool off before she collected evidence and went to court. But once she did, she did it with more wit and determination than she had ever used in any other case. She was a softie for animals, and she couldn't help it. She had won the case, of course, and now she was here to make sure the animals were now being treated properly. "Excuse me," She said to an employee, "May I speak to the manager?" The boy nodded and led her to a very laid back looking girl. She was dressed like Allie was today, sweatpants and a simple t-shirt. Allie's hair was in pigtails and the other woman's was down. "May I help you? Sorry if you don't recognize me, I'm new management. Name's Mary." She smiled and extended her hand. Smiling right back, Alana accepted the handshake. "Allie. I just wanted to ask you... How do you feel about animals?" She tried to be subtle so Mary wouldn't lie. She could tell by the way Mary just lit up that she was being honest. The older woman gushed, "I adore animals! That's why I was so excited when I got this job. But when I got here, I couldn't believe how awful the place was! I'm still trying to fix it, but I think it's much better myself. Would you like to see?" Smiling, Alana declined. "Actually, I'm supposed to be meeting a friend right about now, so maybe later. It was nice to meet you, Mary." "Nice to meet you too, Allie." The girls parted ways. Allie seated herself at the bench at the predesignated location, now waiting for Tobias to show up. Tobias shifted back outside the park gates and glanced at his cell. The lit-up screen read 2:37pm. That wasn't bad. Only seven minutes late. So what he had wings and should be able to get places on time? Once inside, he picked up one of the park's free little maps, with the animals drawn extra large in sections and everything color-coded, supposedly to make it easier to get around. It only helped those who were good with maps, which, fortunately, Tobias was. The bird's-eye-view was not at all unnatural to him, although sometimes the vague, cartoonish, caricatures that passed as maps confused him. Such as the one he was holding now. In any case, he knew his way around this zoo fairly well, and it only took him a moment to find the place he was supposed to meet Allie. He stuffed the map into one of the oversized pockets on his baggy pants, and then shifted once more into crow form, taking off to find Allie with the route printed clearly in his mind. Once over the established bench, he circled once. He could see someone with her red hair, sitting in the right place, but... well, to be honest, he'd been looking for a business suit. Something professional, not the casual sweats and t-shirt that she was wearing. But when he landed on the ground in front of the bench, he could see it was her, and when he shifted back he tried to keep the confusion off his face. "Hey, Allie," he said, walking up. He was also trying to avoid looking into the tiger enclosure behind her, or thinking about how close the great cats were. He didn't have many natural predators, or things to be scared of, but they still made him a little nervous.
