Hiya, I'm Laura and have been a SRC member for a couple of years now. I haven't been to many shows but I am starting breeding this year so will hopefully have some rats worthy of showing!
I live in Wick so have a long way to travel but it is worth it.
I was so excited when I heard the club was carrying on and finally getting into the 21st centuary and got a forum!!

Wick??? Blimey, that's a bit of a hike to Kirklintilloch!!!
Mind you, Karren is keen to hold more shows in Central Scotland, and I'm with her on that. The NFRS have been accused of beiong "Londoncentric" for what is supposed t be a national club, so it would be a shame if SRC went the same way being "Glasgowcentric".

Yeah, it's about a 5 hour drive but you get used to travelling stupid distances to get anywhere from here!!
I think more shows in central Scotland would be good, encourage a few more people who can't travel so far.

Looking forward to seeing you at the show too.
I'm planning on breeding british blue and champagne, with apricot agouti in the future and I would also like to do british blue varies. I've got my 'starter' rats here and have my first mating planned for the next couple weeks and then a couple more may time :D

Ooh, maybe we can team up on the Apricot Agoutis :) I'd like someone else to work with on them.

I've been building up to what I hope will be my first Apricot Agouti litter by preparatory matings. Got a new British Blue Agouti baby on the way from RCT Rats to add to the mix as well.

I don't plan to breed but I do want to have a mischief of multi-coloured rats - and now realise I badly need an apricot agouti so let me know as soon as any boys are available!!!
