Hi all and welcome to the Forum!
Some of you know me, a couple may not (lucky buggers!) ;) . I'm Nick, I've been keeping rats and have been in the Rat Fancy since 1977. I breed and exhibit under Trinovantum Stud, and live with my partner Sheena (Bog Myrtle) in Yorkshire. Nowadays I'm known mainly for my association with the Yorkshire Rat Club, having been Chaiman for a few years and latterly becoming Hon.Secretary.
And yes, it was me who wrote those couple of books a lifetime ago. And yes, I think they need updating. ;)
I've been a member of the SRC for quite a few years, and have always enjoyed the clubs shows and friendly atmopshere. I was very sorry when things began to run down in recent months, but I'm delighted to have been asked to be part of the new "Steering Committee" to hopefully help make it a great club again. It's a team effort - all members need to unite to achieve this and I have no dioubt that we will!
Don't forget, the SRC is a NATIONAL Club! B)
