The Rules

1. Intermediate/Advanced RP. Please RP correctly. This means correct grammar and spelling. No one liners, all posts must be 150 words or more. There is no godmodding! You control only yourself. You can also only RP in either an open thread after asking to join, or in a thread where you are tagged.

2. This site is PG-13. There is a specific forum for adult role play, and no sexual content should be placed beyond that forum. Also, alcohol and other drugs are not to be used. Professors can drink in moderation, but keep it tame.

3. Register with a first and last name. Make sure you register with a first and last name. Capitalize first letters. Middle names are unnecessary and unappreciated. If you do not register according to this, PM an admin immediately and request a name change.

4. No special Abilites. Your character can not have wings, horns, be part veela, werewolf, vampire or other nonsense. Do not ask an admin for a special ability. You will be refused.

5. No Advertising. Do not advertise in the Chat Box, your sig, or in any posts or threads. The secret phrase is Who Shall Prevail? If you want to affiliate, please feel free to fill out an affiliation form in the appropriate place.

6. No Perfect Characters. No one is perfect. No one has a perfectly wonderful or perfectly horrid life. Please make your character real. People have flaws, show that in your character.

7. Multiple Characters. There is currently no character limit set in place. We ask that you keep each of your characters active because we will delete inactive characters without warning. Make certain you use your character at LEAST once a month if you want to hold on to them. We ask you only create characters you know you can keep active.

8. Be Active. Once you've joined, you have made a commitment to our site. Please follow through. Every month or so we will go through the members and delete those who have not been active.

9. Face Claim. Once you have been accepted and sorted, please choose a character face that is not taken and sign up for one. No cartoons, only real people.

10. Death. No one may die or kill someone without admin approval and the approval of the character doing the dying. The same goes for any other type of bodily harm, the one being hurt must be okay with it.

11. Signature Rules. We have a few requirements when it comes to the graphics placed in your signature. Please don't have any graphic that is obscenely large. We don't want it to stretch the page. Also, make sure the images and messages in your signature are appropriate and strictly PG-13 or lower. We don't want to see curse words or scantily clad models.

12. Have fun. Our most important rule.

Dueling Rules

1. Start to finish. If you enter the duel, you must complete it. Whether you are winning or losing, you have to finish it. You should know what you are getting into.

2. One v. One Duels are not two on one or two on two. All duels must be one on one.

3. No Perfection. You can not block everything. You must duel as if it were real, and in that, you would not avoid everything. You must get hit at some point.

4. No Unforgivable Curses. Unforgiveable curses are illegal, and that is that. If you dare use one, expect a one way ticket to azkaban and a banning.
