Royai RP, another one :3

Well, here we go. Another Royai RP. If you wanna join in, let us know who you want to be.

So now, I'll start the RP:

Roy is sitting at his desk, head on hand, elbow on desk. He lazily looks out the window and begins to whistle idly.

[Bizzy]

Sir, that hardly looks as though you are attending to your work. Hawkeye approached his desk with a small file folder tucked under her arm, placing it in front of him.

Hawkeye then turns back to her desk, getting settled with a file to start working. I do not know about you, sir, but I am looking forward to the break that starts this coming weekend, and I intend to finish my work so that there is no work during this break.


[[ Question: Coiuld I do speaking like "blahblah talking"? Kinda like writing in story format? Remmebering to make the stuff bold is weird to me O.o; ]

((Yeah, inverted commas might be better for speech ^^; I had normal for speech and bold for action at first, but then I realised that what they're saying should be more obvious than what they're doing, so instead of thinking of inverted commas, I just switched them. So, no probs. I've edited my first post accordingly.))

Roy looks at the folder on his desk with distaste. "I was working . . . Or trying to, anyway. I just had to get that song out of my head, and . . ." he trails off, realising that it's useless, and picks up a pen, holding the folder as far away from any vital organs it may attempt to harm before flipping it open and signing what looks like a dotted line at the bottom of the first page.

[Bizzy]

She quirks a brow, puzzled, peering at the folder that he just picked up and signed. "Sir, I don't mean to interject....but I believe you just signed the synopsis of the file you are reading." Which, had you read it, you would realize does not need to be signed.

[Dailenna]

With a look at the folder, and a look at his subordinate, Roy opens his mouth to say something impressive and dig himself out of this ditch . . . "What's a synopsis?"

[Bizzy]

Riza quirked a brow, and found herself absently wondering how it was that he would not know the definition of 'synopsis'. The man was a bloody Colonel for the Amestris military, for goodness' sake, not to mention a State Alchemist...and yet his knowledge of language was perhaps subpar. It really didn't matter, but to think of the expression on his face with his response 'what is a synopsis' just solidified her thoughts.

"A summary, sir."

[Dailenna]

"Ah. Of course," he said, whisking the folder out of the Lieutenant's hands. So he didn't know one little word - that wasn't his problem. No one had explained it to him before . . .

Glad that he had at least one in his team that wouldn't laugh at him, he found the right line to sign, then handed it back, smiling up at her.

[Bizzy]

"Thank you, sir." She glanced at the folders on his desk. "There seems to be more work to be done, however."

With that, she took the single completed file folder and brought it with her back to her desk, returning to her work. As she had previously stated, she genuinely wanted to have no work to do on her few days off starting tomorrow.

[Dailenna]

Ugh. More work. But it was a beautiful day outside. Why couldn't he just go out and laze around in the sun? Admists his thoughts of could-gazing, a little voice in the back of Roy's head spoke to him. You know, if you finish all of this work fast, maybe she'll let you go early . . .

Yes, that was possible. Not likely, but still possible. After all, Hawkeye'd be so shocked by the fact that he'd finished it all that she'd probably let him do almost anything.

Anything but get in her pants.

Roy's eyes flew open, and he froze. That was just a thought. He didn't say it out loud, and there was no possible way she could know it was there. None. At all.

You could try to change her mind, though.

With a groan, he hunkered down over his desk, trying to bid the thoughts away. He would try to get them out by doing his paperwork, and focussing on something else, but that would just be giving in to the voice, wouldn't it?

[Bizzy]

She swore she could feel his eyes on her, but did held her concentration as best as she could. She was also looking forward to the nice day, and wanted to finish so she could enjoy it. Had she known the Colonel to be a more diligent person when it came to his paperwork, she would've suggested working in the field nearly an hour ago as the sun looked so nice. But he was not necessarily good with his paperwork and needed no excessive distractions.

But she would definately swear she felt him staring at her.

"Is everything all right, sir?"

[Dailenna]

((I just realised that I've gone from present tense to past tense XD No problem there, but I'll try to keep it in past now that we're there, just so that it isn't too muddled))

He jumped when he heard her voice, and it took him a moment to register what she had said.

"Y-yes! I'm f-fine," he replied through gritted teeth. A shaky hand lifted his pen and he pretended to be working at his paperwork, rather than working at banishing all mental images from his mind.

[Bizzy]

Brows furrowed, she shifted her weight. "Ah, sir...your hands are trembling. You're certain you're all right?"

Riza shifted her weight nervously in her seat, unconvinced of the fact that he really was all right. After a pause, she looked back down at her work, unsure of what to expect.

[ Dai: I'm out of town (San Francisco, yay!) but I should hace internet access, at least I hope so. If I don't, sorryyy. I will be back Saturday evening. ]

[Dailenna]

"You know what? I think I need a bathroom break," he said suddenly, jumping to his feet. It was too much for him to bear in this state of mind.

Roy walked towards the door, trying to ignore the supple, curvy creature to his left. No! he told himself. Use other words - those just work to induce further thoughts. Uhh . . . a hardworking officer . . . Is that okay? He mentally paused. Yes, that was fine - he wasn't big into the uniform fetish scene, after all.

Except . . .

His walk broke into a run as thoughts of miniskirts entered his mind.

((Erm . . . tell me if I'm going a bit far with language. I'm not going anywhere too suss with it - that's just what seemed to fit for now ^^; And that's cool I'll see you Saturday, if not before!))

[Bizzy]

[ Woosh I have time to be on the compie!!! And you are not too far ]

Quirking a brow, she watched him hurry to the restroom, puzzled. After a pause, she looked down at her work.

I wonder what it is he's so flustered about...if he honestly thinks the way Lieutenant Havoc pins him to, then he could have been thinking--

She slammed her desk drawer shut.

He couldn't possibly have thought of me like...that?

[This is too good to pass up, I'm going to appoint myself as Havoc for the time being.]

Havoc smirked and looked between his two superiors as one ran out of the office and the other slammed a drawer shut. Both had seemed a litle red in the face.

Time to rattle some cage

He put on his serious face and announced that he too had to use the restroom.
