Ok, so I don't have the test done yet, however I did manage to break it down into 5 parts. Each part will be worth a maximum of 100 points, for a possible 500 total score.
Part I:
This will be the answer the question part. There will be 10 questions, each worth 10 points each. Each question will be short answer, usually like one/two word answers.
Part II:
This will be a link list that the team has to come up with. I will give a starting term and an ending term. The object is to find a website with the first term which then links to another term which links to another term (etc.) until the last term is reached. However only a maximum of 10 links can be given for a maximum of 100 points total. And only 1 Wikipedia or similar idea link per list.
Part III:
This is an image search portion of the exam. I will provide 10 words, and each team will have to provide an image that corresponds with each term. All images must be appropriate and represent the term given. Each correctly identified image is worth 10 points.
Part IV:
This will be a list of brain teasers or similar fashion logic puzzles. This may change slightly but the general idea is there. Will be worth a maximum of 100 points total.
Part V:
The last part is further broken down into four sub-groups, each sub-group is worth a maximum of 25 points.
A: I will provide a quote and you need to tell me who said it. Full points will be given for both first and last name. Only 12 points for a correct first of last name only.
B: Each team will come up with a list of one word terms. Each term will have to start with a different letter of the alphabet. So the first term will start with the letter A, the second with letter B, and so on. For every term a team has that the other team doesn't have will award them one point. One predetermined letter will be thrown out by me upon test day.
C: Each team will choose one pokemon, and one of its learnable moves, one that is only learned by leveling up. To earn all 25 points, a team must have a pokemon who's type combination is better than the opponents. A four times the damage will mean a team earns 25 points, 2x the damage earns 20 points, 1x damage yields 15 points, 1/2 damage equals 10 points, 1/4 damage is 5 points, and no damage at all scores no points. Refer to Bulbapedia for pokemon types and moves and
http://serebii.net/games/type.shtml for type damages.
So thus the attack is what really matters as it will determine how many points you get for battling the opponent. However the type is equally important because it determines how many points the opponent earns.
D: Each team will choose a number between 1 and 25. All 25 points are given if the team number is dead on. 12 points will be given if the number is between 2 units of the actual number. This just adds a bit of luck into the mix.
So, now you know what is on the test, and I suggest you start working on what your team plans on doing for Part V. Good Luck.
