But, what would I know? I've never held a gun, before...

I doubt they're ready for action ... and it would have to be really unfortunate to have something get to the trigger, and push it hard enough in the right direction.

When you hold a gun, it's not as scary as you'd expect...

Until you remember that your uncle shot himself in the leg before you were born...

Eh... Probably why we do other sports like fishing, football, water-football, basketball, baseball, soccer, wrestling, golf, croquet... Well, we used to play croquet...

Those are the sports the guys would play. I used to love playing with them, and even as a little girl I had my cousins tackling me for the football in the pool. ^-^

One of my cousins played in a few college all stars games, and won the championship at College of the Canyons. His name is Kyle, and he played with Kyle Mathers.

Another cousin is famous for cards, though. He's been televised in Vegas for a few tournaments. He taught me a lot of cool card games before I ever heard about them in school.

In third grade I went to a summer school where kids my age played Dungeons and Dragons by the book. When I told my uncle about this, he told me he had been playing it for years. ^-^

The women in my family play games like chess, Chinese checkers, Mah-Jong, Backgammon, Yahtzee, Mancala, Jenga, Topple, etc... my favorite games as a kid were Chutes & Ladders and Candy Cane Lane (until I hit the Pinball craze at age...5, I think? I had at least seven different types of pinball programs... my favorite of them was 3D Ultra ThrillRide), but I knew how to play any game they put in front of me. There were always games with our family at gatherings. We'd go to the County Fair just to find new games, and if we couldn't find any or wanted to add to it, we'd make up our own.

...And with the men working in the entertainment industry (Hollis) or the technology industry (Goers), and our women teaching, my family's probably either heard of the most recent games before anyone else or helped create them in one sense or another.

...I love video games of all types, and I want to play paintball. *Chuckles* But I need to play more games first.

Paintball comes highly recommended- sim rounds, highly recommended, and for the record- the AT4 in the pic was expended long before I got my hands on it, at least that one anyway- it made a really good ornament for the PL's desk.
