Prisoner Of Azkaban, Random thoughts here *spoilers*

Holy mackerol! I saw PoA two nights ago with Xena, Pingu and Peeves (sorry Rach and Beth, seems you missed out ). I thought it was really good. I didn't like the first two Harry Potter movies, but something about this one made me warm to it. I liked the fact that there were scenes that had absolutely nothing to do with the plot (the one at the start with all the boys in their dormitory and the one with Ron and the spiders *sniggers*).

I also didn't mind that the plot was slightly different. I found the ending a little odd...with the Firebolt and everything, but apart from that, didn't mind the plot changes. I think it was because the movie strayed so often. It wasn'y a bad attempt at recreating the books on screen, because it wasn't exactly the books.

I don't know. I just liked the way it was done.

And what do you know? New director-absolutely no mention of Susan Bones

The i really liked the whole movie and thought it was really good. The only thing i didnt like was new dumbeldor and the werewofl. but apart from that it was really good. i like sirius he was kewl and when he went dog form i was like aww i wanna pat him. The whomping tree has attitude.

I never relised that.,, poor susan bones.. lol!

I love some of the lines from it..

It was wicked, eh? I loved all the shippiness, the lines that were directly taken from canon and even the extra little bits. I could winge and moan about the discrepencies but what's it going to achieve? They've been pretty well canvassed elsewhere.

Hang on, I'm losing my thoughts. Damn temperature. I hate being sick.

I loved all the "Ronald" lines. Damn those kids kick the proverbial! Their acting just gets better and better. And the adult actors were superb as usual. I liked Gambon as Dumbledore personally, and adored Emma Thompson as Trelawney. Hilarious. Apparantly she couldn't wear those glasses for more than ten or so minutes at a time because they magnified her eyes so much it hurt to look out them.

I just wish that they would try a new screen playwright sometime. Heck, I'd do it if they asked me... What? I did a second year script writing paper... at summer school...
