Holy mackerol! I saw PoA two nights ago with Xena, Pingu and Peeves (sorry Rach and Beth, seems you missed out
I also didn't mind that the plot was slightly different. I found the ending a little odd...with the Firebolt and everything, but apart from that, didn't mind the plot changes. I think it was because the movie strayed so often. It wasn'y a bad attempt at recreating the books on screen, because it wasn't exactly the books. I don't know. I just liked the way it was done. And what do you know? New director-absolutely no mention of Susan Bones -------------------- Bekki-the amazing bouncing ferret

It was wicked, eh? I loved all the shippiness, the lines that were directly taken from canon and even the extra little bits. I could winge and moan about the discrepencies but what's it going to achieve? They've been pretty well canvassed elsewhere.
Hang on, I'm losing my thoughts. Damn temperature. I hate being sick. I loved all the "Ronald" lines. Damn those kids kick the proverbial! Their acting just gets better and better. And the adult actors were superb as usual. I liked Gambon as Dumbledore personally, and adored Emma Thompson as Trelawney. Hilarious. Apparantly she couldn't wear those glasses for more than ten or so minutes at a time because they magnified her eyes so much it hurt to look out them. I just wish that they would try a new screen playwright sometime. Heck, I'd do it if they asked me... What? I did a second year script writing paper... at summer school... -------------------- Be merry!
