I was sending out a mailer to inactive members and one of our admins thought that I should post it for the other forum members to see. Lord Ares agreed and so did I. Here is the letter:

I hope that this message finds you in good health and fine spirits. As you may or may not know Rise of Aetheria has gained many new members over its two months of existence. You are, in fact, one of these members. This is why I am sending a message to you.

I send it in the hopes that you would return to the site and join in one of the multiple role plays we have created. In a hope that you would give it a chance, give yourself a chance, to relax and enjoy the friendly atmosphere of ROA. We are active, but we are also relaxed. No one will rush you to post. On the same token, no one will condemn you for lack of words, or be insulted by your lengthy creations. We welcome all skill levels. We leave behind all the pretensions and narrow mindedness of other forums.

We now boast a chatbox as well as a more refined forum. Many of the kinks have been worked out through the help of our members and just a learning experience. We have artists and poets both exhibiting their works. We welcome all forms of art and media. We are a forum of friends who come together to relax and chat. We join together to create worlds beyond our own or one just outside our door.

I hope you will take some time to give us a chance. I hope you will enjoy your time with us if you do. I understand if you do not find it suitable, but give it a chance first. Only then can you truly know how you feel about our forum. As always, we understand if time constrains keep you from being involved in role plays, but surely you could join in one of the forum games or make a post about something that interests you and engage in conversations with others.

Rise of Aetheria is about friends, about art in every sense of the word, and is about enjoying your time interacting with others.

Thank you for taking the time to read this message. We welcome you with open arms and we will miss your contribution as a unique and interesting individual if you choose not to join us.

I do feel this way about the site and I hope you all feel the same. I hope to keep the site for all to enjoy for many years to come. I do think of us as at least friends, if not a quirky distant family. Hugs for everyone! *squeeze*

On another note, since this news update came rather fast after the last, I thought I would link into the old news from before as it was updated twice and explains the new member groups.
