The leagues of scumbags and generally not-so-cool dudes gave no questions or even a glance to the faceless homunculus, as it walked down one of many paths leading into Hades Central; shoulders had brushed by each other many times, and alas, no reaction. Bypassing some unfortunate folk, they preached and exclaimed of their misfortune and agony toward the beginning of the end, as it seemed to apparently be commonplace in this realm. Void had not noticed their plight, as it instead followed its urges, simply to walk step by step by step...
Compared to the individuals outside of the obsidian walls of the realm of Asphodel's Hades Central, the natural glow of the homunculus' amethyst-tinted, crystalline body began to (all of a sudden) attract attention from the scum contained within the realm capital.
The value of a large, animate pile of crystal began to glisten in the whites of the corrupt and the greedy. One individual, presumably a demon hunter of some sort, proved not to be an exception to the rule, as his lance had... 'mysteriously'... been flung at Void's chest. The projectile smashed into the homunculus with a deafening crack: but a soon-disappointing sound at that, as the lance was only in deep enough to stick out at an odd angle!
Many bystanders, now with second thoughts, were afraid by the durability of the glowing crystalline being as it's gaze shifted to the lance wielder. The sole white-glowing eye pulsed in a devious matter, as the whole body of the being began to spark; the lance now possessed the same glow, as the victim lurched backward to rip out the foreign object in it's body and pelt it at the assailant.
Definitely more than afraid now, the demon hunter fled beginning with a dodge as the lance, now charged with mana, slammed half-way into a heavy stone wall. Void had attracted more attention, but at least nobody would stand in it's way, as the being continued to follow it's urges by continuing the walk toward the omnipresent Black Castle.

Akane took a deep drink from her glass as chaos broke out around her. A young male sat down next to her and she eyed him as he cheerfully addressed her. She wasn't sure how to respond, she wasn't drunk enough to be pleasant, but he looked like an ok kid. She closed her crimson eyes. "Hello, Eli Tikentok." She murmured in a tone almost impossible to hear in the tavern.
Just as she opened her eyes something small and solid smashed into her bosom. It made her fall over backwards off the stool she was seated upon. She landed with an 'oof' and she reached into her dress to pull out a small creature. She looked up at Eli, confused, as she looked at the fairy. "Eh, what?"
Gonu heard someone begging for their life, as he had heard it many times before, and he rushed out from behind the tavern. He first found the boy, wounded from the great attack of his many-armed enemy. "Tch I cannot save him and fight my great foe!" He cursed aloud as he rushed over to the small limp body of Trek. "I will avenge this boy and you will be defeated, many armed man!" He yelled out as he leapt dramatically up onto a building and carried him away from the fray.
After jumping from building to building, (even though he could fly, jumping was just more dramatic), he stopped outside a more peaceful side of the city. He stopped in what looked like it was a park and rested Trek on a bench. He slipped a small Bean o Powa into the young boy's mouth and made him chew. "There now, that should help you regain your strength." He said with a sage nod.
"Well, I suppose now I should lament about my tragic past and how seeing you there reminds me of myself at some point… So I will…" With that Gonu began a long speech that continued until Trek awoke.
Rodane had caught the eye of the youngest Roris sister, Cena. She wondered how the big lug would like to feel like a doll himself. Her amber eyes flashed with mischief. There was no hint of justice in her expression, just the joys of torment.
She stretched her arms out in his direction and wiggled her fingers while she mumbled under her breath. A few of her hairs, almost invisible, stretched from her shoulders down her arms to the tips of her fingers. After a moment they started to glow, then they shot from her fingers and wrapped around Rodane's arms, all of them. She then giggled and started to sing. "I'm a little teapot, short and stouuut!"
She giggled as she made Rodane dance to the nursery rhyme. "Here is my handle, here is my spout. When I get all steamed up then I shouuuut…" Her face took on a sadistic grin. "Tip me over and pour me out." Cena turned him over and cut the strings, dropping the man on his head. "Ooh, did the big man have a boo boo?"
Lomena was at the shooting range, busy toying with a new revolver the owner had held for her to try. After inspecting it, she started shooting at some moving targets. She hit the heart and head with every shot.

Eli looked bemusedly at the tiny creature, then back at Akane.
"Are you okay...ma'am?" he added hurriedly and apparently respectfully.
Alice, at the other side of the bar, ordered herself a glass of lime cordial. Once she put the glass to her lips and started drinking, a voice called out to her.
"Hey," it jeered, "Shouldn't you be drinking spirits, little girl?"
She glanced at the offender. It was a large, stocky adult man with a thick black beard and bushy eyebrows. Evidently finding his wit to be hilarious, he and his cohorts shared a raucous laugh.
Alice eyed them for a moment, then nodded, looking at the man's feet. She smiled as a pale indigo fire appeared under his feet and he danced around, yelping and trying to put his boots out.
She went back to her drink. Being dead had its uses.

The four-armed warrior let out a cry of vengeance; this was not the kind of thing he was used to. Made a fool of? This was not something Rodane considered a part of his vocabulary. He drew his three swords and glared at Cena's general direction. "You're cocky for a hellspawn! You would dare to make a fool of my greatness? What sort of madness would possess you to essentially commit suicide by me? I'll slice you into pieces!"
With swords held on high, Rodane leapt into the air, ready to assault the smaller framed cat demon.
He could hear mumbling and lots of it. As he shook his head, the mumbling became a bit more coherent. "W-what… I can't hear you that well… s-sp—" When Trek adjusted his glasses, he could see a young looking cat…fox… some kind of animal boy talking to himself. His youthful expression betrayed someone that looked kinda dangerous at first glance; Trek wasn't sure if he was in danger or if this was a savior.
"Um… hi." Trek waved nervously as he slowly rose up from his resting place. "Who're you?"
Abigail opened one eye and glanced around carefully. A fleshy color, rather pale and… soft? The fairy squeezed the soft surface gently and it began to set in pretty fast. With a lecherous grin, the fairy squeezed the bosomy perch with fervor, in moments it was no longer an innocent examination and truly a full on grope fest.
Abigail had no intention of stopping either. If there was ever a reincarnation of a middle-aged man in a fairy's body… this would be it.
When the fairy was yanked out of Akane's fleshy bits, the fairy was still making squeezing motions but then immediately stopped when she made eye contact. "Uh… hiiii~!" The fairy through on the most innocent grin she could try to muster. Though honestly? In this situation, it's kinda hard to peg someone as innocent.

Akane blushed deeply, the fairy's groping had not gone unnoticed, and she shook the little creature a bit roughly. "I'm fine, but this lecherous little skank..." She held her up to eye level. "You know, coping a feel isn't free. You owe me a drink and a smoke." She glanced pass the fairy at Eli. "That sounds fair, don't it?"
Cena danced out of the way of his assault with ease. She was a lithe combatant and he signaled his attacks with plenty of time for her to avoid them. "Suicide? Maybe by how booooring your attacks are~" She cooed as she winked at him coyly and leapt to the next building. "Doesn't tag sound like fun?" She called as she shot some of her hair pass the side of his face, sharpened to a razor's edge, and she cut him ever so gently. "You're iiiit~"
"I am Gonu Igo." The man said gallantly as he started at Trek with his crimson eyes. He seemed, for a moment, to expect Trek to recognize the name. Justified that Trek did not respond out of respect for his name, he continued. "I came to this land to fight the evil after losing everything I loved. I fight for justice and freedom and my deep seeded shame at myself. I saw you being beaten and it reminded me of the time my brother killed the monks who raised me right before my eyes..."
He sniffed and looked up, his eyes void of tears but passionate. "I could do nothing despite my immense power. I couldn't just do nothing to help you."
Lomena had left the shooting range, content with her skill and smelling of gunpowder, and she decided to walk around town to check out the locals. She heard a lot of commotion at one of the taverns her sister frequented and she decided to avoid the area. She instead headed towards the Black Castle, deciding they might have some information about the tournament.

Eli blinked.
"I...uh..." He leaned back in his chair and managed a smile. "Sure."
Alice looked around the bar. There were so many people, each one with their own respective lives, hopes, dreams, thoughts, feelings. Each one was a separate and unique life, each one different in its own way, and each one just as valid as the next. The sheer diversity never ceased to amaze her.
Life was such a precious gift.
She looked vacantly into her drink. At the very least, she did not need to worry about aging or fading away from her task.
She had all the time in the world.
She sighed.
How she wished she hadn't.
