Prologue ----------
Den of Suffering. From the name alone, the local villagers and merchants tremble in fear. Lores and tales spoke of the haunted forest, where darkness and evil seems to seep from every hole in the ground. The moment he had arrived in town in Grass Country, the Kaguya had been hearing about the locals speak of the forest in fear. Some were even trembling in fear as they heard about it.
Despite the indifferent expression on his face, Hei’s curiosity was actually peaked by what he heard. Originally meaning to get a room for the night at an inn, the black-haired shinobi had instead decided to witness for himself the real terror of the forest. When he had expressed his intentions, the others in the inn went into an uproar, all of them speaking at once.
One said that those who entered the forest have never returned, while another said that it was meeting place of the demons. A third one piped up, telling of a beast which had made the forest its home, killing all who dare intrude into its domain. Other stories filled the room with each getting more and more absurd.
“Demons,” Hei scoffed as he entered the forest, his hands in his pockets. The air was chilly and a thick fog obscured his vision, leaving him with a range of vision of about 4 feet in every direction. The grass was wet under his boots, and every step gave off a squelching sound. The sounds of the insects echoed around him. The occasional rustling of the bushes and leaves gained no attention from the Kaguya as he walked past coolly.
Shadows danced across his path, and Hei felt like there were eyes following him. Assuming them to be animals, he merely ignored them and continued making his way forward. His pace finally stopped when Hei came upon a clearing, the moon’s light barely shining through the thick foliage above. The stones looked as though they were arranged in a circular pattern, the Kaguya observed as he walked into the center.
Evil intent was heavy in the air, but Hei could not feel any human presence. Looking around him, the Kaguya decided to use it as a training ground. The end of a bone poked out from his bare right shoulder which he grabbed and continued pulling at it. The Tsubaki no Mai, which was one of the other Dance jutsu of the Kaguya, ensured that a Kaguya would never be weaponless.
With a bone sword in hand, Hei began his training exercise as his bone sword slashed and stabbed at the air. Every move was light but the power behind each stroke was more than enough to kill as the tip of his blade constantly slashed at the bark of the trees around him. Hei scarred the last tree that he had not touched, and just as the sword left a mark on the tree, the Kaguya could feel another human presence in the forest.
Allowing the bone sword to disintegrate, Hei fell back into the shadows, waiting to see who, other than him, would have the guts to enter the cursed forest..

Prelude
“So all I have to do is find this tokeisou root and return with it so that you can finish that mysterious concoction of yours?” Jyin replies slightly irritated with Hitomi’s outlandish request.
She glares at him with a vile grimace upon her brow before he finally gives in to her demands with the utmost haste.
“Alright then already, you don’t have to make that face with me. I’m going to get your precious root, since I owe you twice over now for the favors you’ve done for me in the past couple of months. I just wish I didn’t have to go all the way to Grass Country, just to find this stupid plant is all. You’d better appreciate my efforts for putting up with this, especially considering I’m your superior officer in the Lotus Sect!” The Hyuuga replies gruffly while strapping on his weapon pouch to his right leg and waiving his consort off with his left hand.
“You’ll be fine lover boy, just be sure to watch out for the Den of Suffering, it’s a very dangerous place, even for the most skilled of shinobi. You never know what might happen in a place like that, so promise me that you’ll come back in one piece. Besides, no potion is worth losing a fine specimen of male perfection such as yourself. Ahem, excuse that last outburst; well it’s time for you to be off now!” Hitomi replies with a slight grin, while slowly pushing Jyin out of his private chamber before giving him a warm snuggling hug from behind while whispering some sweet gestures gently into his left ear before he exited the chamber still annoyed with the request.
I tell you that woman is going to be the death of me someday, but on the positive side, she’s one hot tamale! I know exactly how much each male within the Lotus Sect would kill for a shot with her, with the exception of Kisei and Zachi. If they only knew she was already taken by myself, and makes it nearly impossible for me to keep this under wraps with her outbursts on so many occasions. Besides, it’s never proper for a subordinate and their superior to enter a relationship such as this for obvious reasons, yet somehow I can’t bring myself to end it either. Well I have work to do so I better be on my way now.
Jyin clears his mind of all trivial matters as he exits the headquarters of the Lotus Sect, while being greeted by two of the nearby sentries before he disappears in a fluttering mass of white lotus petals. Soon he finds himself nearing the borders of Bear Country as he begins to pull his mask from his face to protect against the massive poison field deposits surrounding the Hidden Star Village and the Hidden HQ of the Lotus Sect as well. The horizon shines brightly as the sun begins to rise upon the mountain range off in the distance as the White Lotus Petal Sage makes his way towards Grass Country. His travel is uneventful for the most part, at least until he neared the border of Ame and Kusa. He finds himself leaving the harsh elements of rain storm and entering a very dark and dismal forest.
Battle
The aura given off from the area was not good at all, as the Hyuuga medic knew he had arrived at his consort’s worst feared location, the “Den of Suffering.” He was determined to not let it bother him as the sounds of chirping off in the distance of the crickets completely went silent as he entered the forest by covering his head with his majestic white cloak. He quickly activated his Byakugan to scope out the area as he noticed off in the distance that he was being watched by the locals, who consisted of some strange animals he had never seen before, but the intent was without a doubt the presence of death. Yet his eye was most intrigued as he spotted another living person about half a kilometer away marking a tree, before they suddenly stopped and the weapon in hand just disappeared into thin air.
Hmm…that is most interesting, he had a bladed weapon in hand for sure, yet it suddenly disappeared into thin air without a trace as if he already noticed my presence maybe, but I doubt it being this far away, otherwise this guy has some seriously impressive tracking skills. I’d better be cautious on how I approach this situation, because I do at least know one thing, this person is not an ordinary traveler, I’m willing to bet this guy is a shinobi, but as for his purpose in being here I have no idea. Just to be safe, I’d better make some preparations of my own and see how things pan out.
Without wasting any further time, the Hyuuga began a set of hand seals as he finished with the tiger seal before a cloud of smoke appeared before him as two Kage Bunshins stood before him.
“Spread out quietly and search for that tokeisou root, I’m going to keep an eye on this guy off in the distance. If I need assistance I’ll let you two know now go and be discrete about it.” Jyin whispered calmly to his clones before they both disappeared in fluttering masses of white lotus petals.
Ok, time to see what you’re up to stranger, if I had to make a guess you’re already aware of someone else being here, but do you think it’s human or animal is the question. I’d best stay on my guard too, because those animals off to my backside are close enough to be an issue if we disturb their territory like this if a fight should break out between myself and that stranger here. I just need to keep a cool head and let things play out as they may. I’m not going to make the first move. I’ll let him come to me as I watch from a safe enough distance before taking any further action.

Jyin's Proficiencies Ninjutsu: 200 Taijutsu: 200 Genjutsu: 200 Speed: 200 Weapon Skill: 200 Luck: 125 *Chakra: 600 - 110 = 490 *Health: 100%
*Note: Just for clarification purposes, Hei shouldn't you using that Tsubaki no Mai have been an action, even if you're waiting around for something to happen since you used an official technique in a battle setting like this even in the case of setting up the initial events to get it going? As with my own setup would still cost me some chakra as I have noted even though you haven't been attacked yet.

Closing out his sense of sight, Hei’s hearing gradually became sharper and sharper. His ears began to pick up more sounds by the second, each sound louder than the next. By all means an expert hunter, the Kaguya could very well make out the different sounds made by the footsteps of a human and an animal. And the ones he was picking up on were humans. There were more than one of them.
“Chakra Kenpa no Ame,” the shinobi mumbled under his breath as he formed the handseals. Clouds began to gather above the forest and thunder began growling as lightning lit up the night skies. A sheet of rain began to pour on the cursed forest, slowly growing into a downpour. As soon as the jutsu was used, Hei’s perception of the entire area quickly increased.
There were three shinobi around him, two of them heading towards another direction. Not towards him, that was for sure. The third one was stationary, barely moving at all. Closing his eyes for a while, Hei allowed the rain to ‘converse’ the information to him. It first came back as odd that all of the three had the exact same chakra levels which would have been nigh impossible, even for twins.
The Kaguya pondered on this before he came upon the Kage Bunshin technique. The Shadow Clone technique was not a jutsu in his arsenal, but he knew what it was and the other details concerning that trick. Yeap, the Kaguya considered it a trick. There was no doubt who he needed to attack, prompting the Kaguya to dash in the direction of the stationary shinobi, who he assumed to be the real one.
Arms straightened by his side and palms cocked up to a perfect ninety degree angle to his wrist, Hei burst out of the bushes towards his opponent as two sharp bones shot out from the base of his wrist. The Kaguya unleashed all of the dormant aggressiveness of his bloodline within him in every strike towards his opponent. The moment he had engaged his opponent, it had been a flurry of activity, forcing the Kaguya to retreat the moment after doing what he needed to do.
Withdrawing into the bushes again, Hei watched his opponent. He knew that he was being observed as well, upon the discovery of a fact about his opponent. He was a Hyuuga. There was no mistaking the grayish-white eyes and the bulging veins around the eyes. Only the Hyuuga clan had such a creepy pair of eyes, and not even the Uchiha could beat them at that.
Charging a Hyuuga head-on was suicide considering their bloodline abilities. Hei was better off waiting, than dashing into the battle.
