The Mines of Moria

So, Kasumi and I are planning a joint adventure here and I'm breaking it down in an interesting fashion.

The first quest will begin with pursuit of her as she makes her escape from ANBU (namely myself and an NPC currently until i kill him off during the quest). She'll end up tailing it into the Mines of Moria (If you've seen the first LotR, you know what these are and how they look. You also know what's inside.)

After a brief chase through, we'll end up in a slugfest with a shit ton of orcs, forced to help one another survive, despite the previous situation's arrangement. This will be an actual battle running on the system we have in-place. the way the stats for the high number of orcs will be broken down is on a clone-type system similar to what Sr runs where I create an example model and then break the stats down a hundred-fold. The example model would likely be level 40 Jounin in terms of ability. His stats will be broken down with the rest of the horde.

Once that battle concludes (or escape is chosen), the group will help one another find a way out of the mines as a second quest. If the players decide to stay and fight, we can RP defeat and capture and try our hand at the second quest's plotline as an escape from said orcs.

We'll end it all with a final battle near the exit of the dungeon with the Balrog himself, keeping to the lore of the example adventure after having our own spin on it all. The Balrog, unlike the rest of the horde prior, will be full-power and not broken down on a clone system or weakened in any way.

Because of the difficulty of finding a reliable judge, I'll be DMing this as need be unless one of the other participants wants to do so.

Optionally, a final quest can be done in which the characters part and Kasumi's M-nin gets away on the terms of having helped one another live. Or she can RP weaseling her way out of capture. Either one works.

These are just my visions for the quest. any additional ideas would be more than welcome as interested people find themselves wanting in on this.

We only need, at max, two people. Please don't opt in with no intention of seeing things out. I will drop you off in the quest as falling in a hole or some shit as needed if you go into a dormant state as far as posting is concerned. Nobody is exempt from this, even myself.

And we have monsters. If you look at the Naruto Movie with the girls that transforms into monster bitches, those are close enough to whatever we need for the game. Plus, the undead's been risen and there are the tailed monsters.

Count me in, I'll try to keep myself fast.

Well I certainly think so. I could certainly use some company.

Since you're both from differing countries of my own and Kasumi's origins, (though your meeting point is Konoha in your histories.) Do either of you have a method or idea as to how you'd enter the scene of things?

I'd like it a lot if we could tie ourselves in on a basic level with our characters, so as to relate and work well together in the quest.

If the orc invasion is big enough, it could be news that just hits both of our villages. We could be sent to investigate a potential risk to the village. Done and simple =D

Nah, they're a dormant community like in the movie. We'll make enough noise, I'm sure.

Well I'm currently completing my escape SQ. My character could possibly run into the mines seeking a place to hide not knowing what the mines contained. Once inside he wanders around for a while before stumbling into everyone else. Or something along those lines.

Isn't your character batshit insane? It would be sort of cool if Takedo was already there and hiding from the orcs he disturbed or something. I can see him having done that upon having killed off pursuers and the sounds of the fight could have awakened them from hibernation. Much like a swarm of pissed off bats or bees, if you will...

Well we will see what happens. I was just giving out a basic concept on how he would have gotten there.
