Makihara Clan – Magan users

Originating from the deserts of the Wind country, this rare bloodline holds the power to see the very fabric of time. Although unable to control it, the Makihara clan holds some power of foresight and as a result all clan members occasionally trigger this ability and see images pertaining to the future. Although the reason behind their power is uncertain, one thing that everyone in the clan has noticed about a few of its chosen children is the presence of their own very special doujutsu. The Magan…eyes of the Makihara clan which at their best can see the very ripples in the fabric of time, and see what will happen to that space.

History:

The Makihara clan’s bloodline comes from the Wind country. Born and raised there, very few people actually knew of the clans existence as a whole, and only heard rumors of people who became known as ‘oracles’ because of their ability to sense what would happen in the future. Although their predictions of the future were not always correct, their ability to pinpoint past events down to every detail was what made all who knew them believers in their ability. But this brought up several issues with those who wanted the ability for military purposes, namely to see what would happen based on each decision they made.

What many do not understand is that the appearance of the clan itself did not happen until very, very recently. Before that only the few oracles in the wind country were noticed. When they could not see what their employer wanted, most of the time they would be killed as a result, even though it was not their fault. Visions of the past and future could only appear with special triggers, it wasn’t as if they could do whatever they wanted and see anything that people wanted them to see. The Makihara clan, the clan of oracles, was already small, but with death after death it kept getting smaller.

Fifteen years ago, it was discovered that the clan of oracles had developed one other amazing ability, in the form of a doujutsu. Shinn Makihara, a Shinobi in the hidden Sand Village had unlocked a very powerful doujutsu of his own, and was able to use that power to see the very fabric of time, and what would become of it. It was as if the man could see the future in front of him just before it took place, a very useful ability for a ninja. Although it was unknown how this doujutsu came to be, it did not last long.

Only a year after discovering his doujutsu, Shinn was killed in the line of duty, leaving his two year old son, and one year old daughter who had already lost their mother with no parents. Only Shinn’s mother, Tara was left to take care of the two toddlers. At that point the clan itself was already very small, but by losing the man which could use their Doujutsu, the Magan, it looked as though they had no hope. Never really a true clan to begin with, the Makihara were more like a group of nomads, aware of each other’s presence because of the bright yellow eyes each oracle possesses.

In the entire clan, only two individuals alive today have the ability to use the Magan which Shinn once used. Their names are Rey and Maya Makihara, Shinn’s little boy and girl who are now sixteen and fifteen years old.

Other information: If anyone would like to join this clan please ask me first, I'll probably say yes. However, keep in mind that the Magan only applies to Rey and his sister at this point in time, but that will most likely change. Without the Magan you will still be able to see images involving the future, just don't get carried away.


Kekkai Genkai:

Members of the Makihara clan are able to use the Magan Doujutsu. Members of the clan may also see images pertaining to the future or the past, based on special triggers which bring about those images. Images of the future are based on the current choices made by those who will impact what is seen. The future they see is not set in stone and can change if certain decisions are changed.

I once made a time based clan. This one's very different

If the C Jutsu is similar to Sharingan, then I don't see why it has to be specified out of the description.

I just put it there so no one woudl get the wrong idea. i'll just put it inside of the description.

Does the final step further increase accuracy and speed? Do the stages stack up on one another as well?

I don't think you need to make them RP-only, this seems fine to me since you're not manipulating time.

Just a few things to work out first.

I'm pretty sure they do stack. I like it all except:

and the second step, which is a little too sharingan-esque for me.

But it's a really, really cool idea for a clan.

The final step increases accuracy and speed by a little bit, because it lets you see a little bit further into the future compared to the step before it.

The stages stack in a way. The sped up rate information goes from the eye to the brain applys to all. In terms of seeing into the fabric of time, i outlined it for each step.

the second step is a small part of the field of vision focused on, the third is the whole field of vision, but the same amount of time into the future one can see. the final step is also the whole field of vision, but it allows one to see a little bit futher into the future compared to the third step.

I'd rather not change the appearance if that's ok, i don't understand why it's an issue. But if it ends up being a big problem i'll change it to something else.

I was just offering an opinion, I didn't mean that what the eyes looked like would ever be a problem. XD I was just trying to help out. Sorry! But really, whatever you want it to look like is totally fine. We just worry about the techniques ^^

For now this is all i really want for the clan. Is there anything else you would like me to add for it to get approval?

I'd just take out the part where you talk about the sharingan. Other than that, I think this would be basically ready for approval.
