Mission Description: In the aftermath of the chaos that ensued from the bloody invasion of the Hidden Rain village, the Hoshikage has ordered an investigation into the rumors concerning the validity of the disbanding of the ROOT (Ne) organization within the Genyosha Alliance upon conferring with the council of Petal Sages from the Lotus Sect. A covert team of shinobi will be placed into both Konoha and Neo-Konoha to check out some leads concerning the remnants of the late Danzou's forces. Their orders are simple, find any physical evidence left of the Ne group and track any suspicions of an underground resistance movement to the fledging emergence of the new Hidden Leaf administration and its newest Hokage Hatake Kakashi.

NOTE: This is just a test rp to get myself going and in no fashion or shape will affect the current situation of the site. If we do decide to go along with this time line, this mission can be disregarded in its entirety with any important details involving individuals and events of the site's future.

With the news of Danzou’s demise reaching the frontlines, the morale of the allied Anti-Genyosha forces troops skyrocketed. Soon chaos erupted on the battlefield, as several platoons began to breach the lines of the massive Genyosha forces during this moment of confusion, upon the start of the massive blackout created by the surprise strike on the power facility in Ame. A secret messenger of the Lotus Sect set out quickly to deliver this news first hand to his lord, who had just recently crossed the border of former Kumo territory into that of his old homeland the Fire Country. Meanwhile in Hoshi, Sumaru was busy coordinating efforts with Washi and Ame forces into deciding upon a fitting surrender clause to end this debacle with the Genyosha Alliance once and for all.

Jyin was exhausted after his run-in with the infamous Hidan, formerly of the Akatsuki, and the notorious Kabuto, former CEO/President of Yakushi Corporation. Thanks to the support of Aburame Shino and Hyuuga Yuu he was able to overcome and dispose of both these troublesome pests once and for all. He was now escorting the lovely, talented, & witty scientist, Yoshiro Aiko who was becoming more of a burden by the minute alongside his new comrade Yukina Yoshi. With the designated charge in tow, it was now time to expose Genyosha for the plague it had become under Danzou’s tyranny and unite the independent territories to crush this obstacle once and for all if peace was to be restored to the land. The White Lotus Petal Sage remained close to the female scientist while making his way towards Hoshi and the warmth of his bed that was awaiting him. Little did he know that one of his vassals was on route to deliver news that would excite and at the same time enrage him beyond belief and probably provoke the Lotus Sect into further action immediately?

Nightfall was soon casting its presence upon the trio, as they neared Jyin’s fondest training spot of ages since past; the legendary “Valley of the End!” Several memories began to resurface in the Hyuuga’s mind while he took in the sights of his old training grounds. He continued to maintain a firm defensive stance about him to ensure no pursuit squads were chasing them. The majestic spark of white flames ignited in his eyes, as his Byakugan flared to life suddenly as the sound of the raging waterfall nearby began to grow louder by the second.

Hmm…it would seem that no one is following us after all, that Yuu kid must have succeeded in distracting them after all. Yet, I’ve got a strange feeling that something is definitely wrong.

As he continued to ponder on the situation, a bright light shot straight up into the night sky off in the distance towards the western horizon about twenty kilometers from their current position. This immediately stopped the group from advancing any further as Jyin signaled with his right hand to stop. He cautiously began to survey their surroundings when suddenly a night hawk soared overhead that was soon followed by a fluttering mass of swirling red lotus petals. This instantly took the Petal Sage by surprise, as he didn’t expect anyone from the Sect to be contacting him anytime soon unless, something drastic has occurred that will delay or disrupt their current plans to demolish Danzou’s regime. The Petal Sage had a grim look upon his face after a brilliant entrance, his subordinate made their report.

“Sorry for the interruption my lord, but the situation has changed drastically concerning Operation Armageddon. I bring news of the utmost urgency, whether you like it or not will be another story.” The agent cloaked in red replied while kneeling before the group.

“Well out with it already, I don’t like longwinded reports especially when the news is bad!” Jyin replies sternly while crossing his arms across his chest.

“Of course master Jyin, we’ve received word from our intelligence operatives that Danzou has been recently assassinated by none other than Hatake Kakashi during the ongoing crisis in Ame. The invasion was just a mere distraction to draw away the majority of his forces, and give the ex-Jounin his opportunity to reclaim the honor of Konoha and bring forth justice by his own hand. We’ve also received word that Ne is trying to cover up this situation in order to maintain what order and structure they have left within their organization if they hope to successfully complete the invasion of Ame. Yet Washi and Hoshi’s forces reinforcement brigades are now coming in full force to disburse the scattered forces of Genyosha while panic and confusion begin to overtake their ranks. This means that Ne is slowly crumbling from the inside and that Kakashi will be able to restore the ANBU ranks with his loyalist that remained his eyes and ears from the inside of Ne’s infrastructure. We will have to act with the utmost haste before they can unleash Danzou’s fallacy plan in case of something awry happening to his wellbeing before the world is brought into an even more chaotic situation.”

“Hmm…this is very troubling news indeed, I’m very pissed at the fact that Kakashi would make such a bold move without at least waiting for some kind of support from us first. I’ve wanted to take Danzou’s head by my hands for personal issues, but now it can’t be helped. This has now made our plans more burdensome due to events unfolding as rapidly as they are currently in this crisis. I can’t afford to make any more major moves right now by myself, since I’ve been troubling the organization lately with my own rash actions concerning personal issues from my past. Now my only option left is to consult with the council of Petal Sages immediately upon my return to Hoshi, but first I must ensure that this scientist reaches Hoshi safely to fulfill the contract terms with Kakashi. He used me from the beginning to rid himself of multiple problems at once, not only has Danzou’s regime been destroyed by these turn of events, but the Yakushi Corporation will soon follow suit as well!”

Jyin was furious as his mind continued to take in all of the details he was just informed as his face grimaced beyond belief as the sour look upon his face turned into that of a serial killer. His eyes were filled with rage, and yet he knew where his priorities lie at the moment, since it was obvious what would happen sooner than later. With Danzou out of the picture, Sumaru was going too finally call for the Lotus Sect to relinquish its grip from the reins of power within Hoshi as they have practically ran things from behind the scenes all this time. After finishing his report, the agent disappeared in a fluttering mass of red lotus petals just as he appeared before his superior. The White Lotus Petal Sage, was definitely not looking forward to his homecoming in Hoshi anymore, because now things were about to get serious really fast that would decide the final fate of the Lotus Sect and more. He now holds the key to his own future in the palm of his hands, what would the disgraced Hyuuga prodigy do now?

Fate has always been a cruel mistress in regard to this Hyuuga’s life. Jyin quickly began to increase his pace towards Hoshi with his escort in tow, as he was determined to turn around the situation for the better before anything else could explode in his face this evening. Within the matter of a few hours they had already reached the border to former Iwa territory as they were greeted by a platoon of Alundra elite operatives. The Petal Sage stopped suddenly as he was approached by one of the officers as they began to give their report.

“Sir, we’ve just received our orders to move out and finish off the demoralized forces of the Danzou regime. We also received word that this will be our final assignment in the services of the Lotus Sect, so we just wanted to make it clear to you as well. After we take care of business don’t come after us again or interfere with our lives anymore. We informed the rest of your Sage Council too, so all that was left was the head honcho himself. Now that you know, we’ll be taking our leave.” The grim looking shinobi replied as he along with his subordinates all disappear into the darkness heading towards Ame.

Jyin grimaced slightly upon hearing those words, as he knew they would only cause more trouble later on down the road, if these degenerates were left alone. This thought and many more agitations began to creep into his mind, since he gave the specialized task force known as Alundra life in the first place. They were all nothing but a bunch of rogues who had emerged from the chaotic aftermath of the Akatsuki War. They had lost their homes and families thanks to the efforts of Akatsuki declaring all out war with the entire shinobi order. Now most of them have acclimated themselves to lives of criminal intentions to survive with only a slight few joining other villages to make new lives for themselves.

He was soon brought back into reality as the last member of the platoon disappeared into darkness. He reacted without notion as he hurled a bolt of lightning into the air, when suddenly a shroud of lotus petals of various sorts began to surround the trio. Several figures emerged from the fluttering mass of brilliance before their enigmatic superior.

“You called for us master?” The first cloaked individual in white replied while staying kneeled before the trio along with the other Lotus Sect subordinates.

“Yes, I want you to inform Zaichi-san that he has a new mission. Eliminate all of the degenerates from the Alundra unit after they complete their task in Ame. I don’t want to be responsible for any further issues later down the road. Make sure to take care of this problem discretely, if they choose to join another village then let them but it they choose to remain common criminals kill them all. Do I make myself clear?” He replies sternly while dropping his left hand towards the horizon as suddenly two shadows suddenly disappear with the young Yukina and the female scientist.

“Take those two to the Hoshikage immediately, as for this conversation neither of you heard anything, else you won’t live to talk about it for long. Catch my drift!” Jyin replies with an evil glare as his former compatriots are spirited off to the village.

Jyin plops down to the ground as he begins a series of hand seals as his other subordinates disperse with the winds to adhere to the decree of their master. Soon an astral projection is sentient once more in the confines of the secret council chamber of the Lotus Sect headquarters. One lone figure is present draped in a silk linen cloak of rosemary pink pigmentation. She quickly brings her attention to the hovering spectacle before her.

“Well it would seem that someone is in a sour mood again.” The female Petal Sage replies calmly while staring into the Hyuuga’s cold demented eyes.

“We’ve already taken the necessary precautions to address the current situation. All that you need to worry about is who you want to assist you in your next assignment? Before you interrupt me, I’ll bring you up to speed on the latest events and outcomes decided by the council upon your absence. Zaichi-san, has already left to address the issue with the Alundra unit, Kisei-kun has been found in the outskirts of Kirikagukure working on another experiment of his and will be back within a week or so to check-in with the results of his latest research project. It’s also been hinted at that he may try to stir up some unrest in Kiri due to the presence of former Akatsuki members Uchiha Itachi and Hoshigaki Kisame taking up residence there secretly. As for myself, I’m supervising all operation metrics of the Sect’s affairs here from HQ. You will need at least three squads of our stealth force to complete your new assignment. The council met with Hoshikage Sumaru on your behalf upon the news of Danzou’s demise reaching us and we took care of the details of investigating the details behind this information and the validity of Ne’s further operations to still oppose Hatake Kakashi and his fledgling forces. His only stipulation was that some of his own advisors would help supervise the other two squads on their investigations of Konoha and Neo-Konoha. You can decide for yourself which location you personally will investigate while the other squads take care of the other village. I know this news displeases you, but we didn’t have a choice as Sumaru has also brought forth the issue of the reign of power of the Sect’s influence in Hoshi altogether. We will have to address this issue upon your return from this assignment as a council in whole. I await news of your success. However, I’ve just received word that Hokuto and Mizura have already departed from Hoshi with two of the squads and are currently heading towards Konoha apparently since they don’t want to engage Kakashi directly if he considers this a breach of contract terms with him so I guess you’ll be going to Neo-Konoha after all, Hotaru out!”

Jyin was even furious upon hearing this, but he didn’t really have any other choice in the matter now given that It was now becoming apparent that the hold that the Lotus Sect had over Hoshi was now slipping away even quicker than anticipated. Drastic measures would have to be taken if he wants to still come out on top and accomplish the objective the Sect has sacrificed everything for to begin with.
