I used to drive pass a church that had silly messages that would change daily on my way to work at the Chinese restaurant.

The ones around here like to have ones that are hostile towards non-Christians.
And yeah, just stupid shit, like "YOU ARE BEHIND THE WHEEL BUT GOD HOLDS THE MAP" I've tried to stop reading them because they tend to make me mad, but it's hard to miss "exampes has" day after day. |

How do you think they pick which ones go up? Do you think there's a website that churches all go to and it has a huge list of dumb things for them to put up? Then they go through and pick their favorites and put them in a hat and just pick one out everytime they need to put a new one up until they've run out.

There must be a mailing list or website or something, man. There's gotta be.
And every so often somebody comes up with a new idea and adds it to the list. Sometimes two church-people (  TITLES I DUNNO) in the same town will put up the same sign and it becomes an all-out brawl. |

The 16th Street Baptist Church bombing was really because they were trying to use the same motto on their sign.

today i saw a tiny clump of animal fur and could tell it was a shrew because i saw two teeth. hooray. a classmate told me that once she waited outside of an NA meeting to hit a dude with a 2x4. i started pretending that, through some weird twist of time-travel fate, i was talking to my sister 20 years in the future. |

my sister's experience with NA meetings is skewed by the fact that her and her buddy would get high before going.
