Usually I'm upbeat but it's late and we don't seem to have anything like this ;)
The basis of the story is Humans, the food supply of creatures such as Vampires, Wratihs, and Humonculi. A power struggle between the groups has erupted throwing the world into an inbalance. Cities are torn asunder by the unrelenting battles between the undead legions. Only the rise of the sun provides comfort for the masses.
The Vampires:
Just like their Movie counterparts they dwell in the night. They must drink human blood to sustain their life. Often, a vampire will inadvertently drink all of a human's blood turning them into a vampire as well. The most numerous of the Undead, they also have seemed to grow weaker as their bloodline is dilluted with weakness, yet they do still retain there brute strength and agility.
The Wraith:
These begrudged souls are stayed by the wieght of their sins and some just arent ready to let go. In order to survive in the mortal plane they devour the souls of the living. Wraiths are ghastly visages of their former selves, specters wandering the earth. For the most part they cannot be harmed by physical things, but they are by no means immortal. These beings are guiltless and unrelenting, doing whatever needs to be done to stay...well alive.
The Humonculi:
These malformormed creatures resemble humans, created by sorcerer's and alchemists who oversteped their boundaries by atempting to raise the dead. The Humonculi must take human flesh into them selves in order to maitain their bodies. Bruteish in nature and hellish at mind, these beasts fear nothing and would relish in the moment they find the person who brought them into a world of suffering. Unworldy strenght at their disposal they leave havok in their wake. They are few, but by no means weak and they only rise in power as humans try unsuccesfully to bring back their loved ones. Know for unpredictability they could look completely human or a hellish monster through and through.
Humans:
The most numerous of all inhabitants of Earth, but they are starting to dwindel. While normally weak and frail compared to others, it is said when put in an extraordinary situation and enough resolve they are given power to rival the Gods. Preyed upon until stretched to their limits, they have begun to unite and fight back. Looking back into their history, they have recalled the Templar Knights back into duty. Many, having lost friends, family, and loved ones have taken up the cross and the sword. Guns having proved uneffective against the undead hordes they have turned to blessed steel, prayers, and armor.
I think it still needs a few things...like a common interest of some sort, maybe a gem that can grant eternal life or something, I would like feedback, and anything you might think could make the rp better.
