"Of course. I always miss you when you're gone," Brooke nodded her head, leaning in and kissing him ever so softly. "Hmm...I like that answer." She promised him as she rested her head against the pillows tiredly. Lucas always knew exactly what to do or say to make her a happy girl--Well, most of the time. He had his moments when he would be a complete and total ass, but he was a guy. Every single guy on Earth was entitled to at least one douchebag moment, or else they'd be perfect.
"Do you remember Felix?" She asked with a giggle, taking a hold of his hand and lacing their fingers together. "I was just in the mall and like..I swear to God, the guy working at Abercrombie looked just like him. It was freaky." Brooke admitted, laughing once again and shaking her head at the thought. She'd done a double take just to make sure that it hadn't been her ex-boyfriend, but rather someone else. Someone who hadn't spray painted horrible, hurtful words on her best friend's locker.
"You think I'd still be dating him if he hadn't done that to Peyton?" She questioned, completely oblivious to the fact that he and Lucas had completely hated eachother. "Or..You think we would've gotten back together anyway, somehow?" She asked curiously, trying to think of the answer herself.

"I was into you too. That much was probably obvious, wasn't it?" Brooke laughed as well, although she shook her head to controdict what he was saying. "Actually, I had no idea. I don't know if I was just..In denial or if you were really good at hiding your feelings, but I had no idea until you told me the day I left." She admitted, smiling at the memory. Poor Brooke had been taken so off guard that she could barely even think straight the whole entire plane ride to California. "I spent most of the year thinking you were still in love with Peyton..Or..Anna.." She stated with another laugh. "..So, Felix came along and he made himself into the guy that I wanted him to be and I.." Brooke shrugged her shoulders, her fingers playing with Lucas's button down shirt. "..I believed him.." She smiled slightly and turned to look at the stereo as 'You and Me' began to play.
"This should be 'our' song." She offered, looking back over at her boyfriend cheerfully. "Y'know how all cheesy tv couples have a song, right? Well...This should be ours." Brooke nodded her head, a large grin forming on her face.

"It was actually the night that Haley left that I realized it. I was talking to Nathan and he told me that I knew that I still had feelings for someone other than Anna," Brooke scrunched her eyebrows together in confusion. Wait, hadn't that been the same night that she and Felix had begun dating? Oh no. "You mean.. You came to my house and saw.." She trailed off, nodding her head. Well, that made a bit more sense. The whole time, though? The trip to New York and the hugs and the walks to school--He had feelings for her that whole entire time? Wow, talk about keeping something on the down-low. Brooke probably would have burst if she had something like that kept to herself for so long. "Wow.." She whispered, shaking her head ever so slightly. "Yeah, this should be 'our' song," Brooke simply smiled as she leaned in and kissed him softly, her lips lingering on his for a bit longer than intended. "Your moms making baked ziti for dinner." She said out of the blue, a loud laugh escaping her lips as she realized just how random that had been. Talk about ruining a romantic moment, Brooke.

"Thanks for telling me that," She laughed a little and rolled her eyes, unable to stop herself from sticking her tongue out at him. "Please..I'm hungry." She admitted, feeling her stomach begin to grumble. Sure enough, a loud roar came from her stomach, only causing her to laugh even harder than she had been before. Brooke leaned in and kissed her boyfriend again, gently pushing him down onto his back and crawling on top of him.
With ease, she managed to cup his face with her hands and continue to kiss him, quite enjoying their little makeout session. Brooke opened her mouth to allow his tongue access in an attempt to deepen the kiss, her hands beginning to roam under his teeshirt and on his stomach. "This was why you called me here, right?" She questioned with a seductive grin, pulling away for only a second. "Dim lights..Romantic music..You and me.." She listed off before leaning in once again to kiss him.
Brooke began to gently pull up his teeshirt, but stopped midway when she heard a voice. "Guys, dinner!" Karen called out, causing Brooke to let out a loud groan, resting her head in the crook of his neck.

"After dinner?" Brooke laughed and nodded her head, leaving one last kiss on his lips before rolling off of him and standing up. She walked over to the mirror and began to fix her hair, a small sigh escaping her lips. She couldn't exactly just walk out for dinner looking like she had been interrupted mid-makeout, even though that was exactly what had actually happened. She turned back to Lucas and grabbed both of his hands, pulling him up from the bed as well. "We'll see." She joked, continuing to hold onto his hand as they walked out of the bedroom and into the kitchen.
Brooke smiled at Karen and sat down a bit uncomfortably, putting some ziti onto her plate. And this was where things became awkward. Had she not been making out with Karen's son less than five minutes ago, it probably wouldn't have been, but she actually had been doing just that. After grabbing a roll for herself, Brooke ripped a piece off and popped it into her mouth.
"So, what were you kids doing?" Karen questioned curiously. Upon hearing the question, Brooke began to cough horsely, deciding that the 'fake cough' route was the way to go.
