Haley hopped around the gym, happily counting the days until school was out. It wasn't that she had grown to hate school, she was just, glad to soon be having a change in scenary and going to Duke--even if it may not be her dream school. At least she'd have the love of her life with her, right? With a smile she sat down on the bleachers, opening up her yearbook and flipping to the pages that had the seniors in it, wondering what the rest of her friends had said about leaving THHS.

She was awaiting the arrival of those so-called friends, as she glanced around the gym. All the seniors were supposed to report to the gym to pick up their annuals and for an important information meeting about their graduation ceremony and the formal afterwards.

Peyton walked into the gym, just in time, without getting in troble for being late. They just annonced that all the seniors should report to the gym for some crap Peyton could care less about. She walked in hold her bag on her sholder and looked around to see any of her friends. Finally Peyton saw Haley on the bleachers, so she walked up to her and sat down. Then she looked at the year book she was holding. "As much as I hate to say this. I'm going to miss this school." Peyton said to Haley honestly.

Ah, the perks of being Student Body President. She nervously paced around, a small frown on her face. "Attention Seniors.." She read quietly to herself, trying to get the speech perfectly. Brooke angrily tore the piece of paper in half, a loud groan falling from her lips. Before she could say anything, Mr. Turner was up at the podium, getting ready to introduce her. Great. Just freaken' great. "Excuse me!" He called out, only gaining the attention of a few of those around him. With a tired sigh, he waved Brooke out.

She bopped onto the stage happily, waving to her peers as they cheered for her. "Your Student Body president, Brooke Davis." She took a hold of the microphone, sending both Peyton and Haley a small wink before she began to speak. "Well, as most of you know, Senior Year is almost over. It seems like just yesterday we were all at that bonfire, sitting around and talking about how amazing senior year was going to be. Well, let me tell you that...It was eventful. At least for me." She said with a small laugh, looking down at Peyton with a soft smile. "Mr. Turner wanted me to give this grand speech about how honored I've been to be your president for this last year, but..That's just not who I am. I don't use big words that I don't understand and I don't..." She looked in back of her towards the principal and then back towards the students whose attention she had somehow managed to grasp. "..I don't allow other people to tell me what to say. So, from the bottom of my heart..And in true Brooke Davis style..I wanna say thank you." She said, shaking her head.

"Thank you for the annual Saturday night parties and thank you for the endless drama and thank you for the constant backstabbing and gossip. Thank you, Tree Hill High, for making my high school experience as dramatic yet...Amazing..As it could've been. People got married, people lost their lives..People..lost touch with their best friends.." She said with a small sad laugh, gently pursing her lips together. "But I propose, right here and right now, that we all start with a clean slate. As your Student Body President, I'm giving everyone a homework assignment. Mend fences with someone who you're not on such great terms with." She said, putting the microphone back down into its holder. "Because, pretty soon, it's gonna be too late..Thank you..And...Continue on." She did a small little bow before hurying off of the stage and over to Haley and Peyton, plopping herself down in between them.

Brooke wrapped one arm around Haley's shoulder and the other around Peyton's, pulling both girls over to her for a hug.

Lucas walked into the gym just in time to see Mr. Turner introduce Brooke. He went and leaned against the stands with his hands crossed listening to what Brooke said with a small smile on his face the whole time. After she finished her speech, Lucas clapped for her, along with everyone else and walked over in the stands to where she went to sit with Peyton and Haley. "Hey," he said with a smile going up to the seat right above Brooke.

"Awesome speech Brooke." Haley said with a smile as she came and sat down between the two. So, Brooke Davis could write a great speech, it also meant that she could too...right? Well, Haley knew big words, and she was good at writing essays and english assignments, should be a sinch...hopefully. Haley still had no idea what she was going to write and it was only a few days away!

"Hey,"

"Hey." Haley said to Lucas as he sat down on the bleachers above Brooke, and she glanced back at the yearbook that was in her hands. Usually, she'd only have a few signatures in it, but this year was different, people had already come up to her and asked her to sign theirs and they would sign hers. To be honest, she was quite surprised at the difference. "Have any of you seen Nathan? I picked up his book for him." she said with a shrug.

"Awesome speech Brooke." Brooke grinned, sighing slightly.. "Thanks." She said cheerfully, looking up when she felt a body looming over her. Ah Lucas. "Hey yourself, boyfriend." Brooke said, puckering her lips out so that Lucas would kiss her. Once he did, she smiled, resting both of her hands on each of Lucas's knees as he sat above her. She tapped them quietly to the beat of some random tune that she'd heard on the radio this morning, smiling at some kid who waved at her.

"Have any of you seen Nathan? I picked up his book for him."

Brooke nodded her head, pointing to the other side of the room where Nathan was with Whitey. "I don't know..He said something about how Whitey was like..Retiring his jersey number today..Some..Basketball thing." She said, not quite understanding all of the basketball talk. "Oh! Yearbooks!" Brooke squealed, looking over Haley's shoulder. "Am I in it? Did I win any of those stupid polls?" She questioned, a large dimpled smile on her face.

"Am I in it? Did I win any of those stupid polls?"

"How much do you want to bet that you won most popular, and best dressed?" Haley said with a smirk, knowing for sure that Brooke was at least going to win in those two categories, probably more at that. She flipped to the start of the poles where they showed who won what. "You and Luke won hottest couple." she said as she saw a picture of Brooke and Lucas.

Lucas kissed Brooke and allowed her lean against him. He set his yearbook beside him. He hadn't had the chance to look at it yet. Lucas looked at it when Haley showed the polls to them. "Hey, look at that!" Lucas said with a smile as she showed them that Brooke and Lucas had won hottest couple as he patted Brooke's shoulder.

"You and Luke won hottest couple." Brooke smirked up at her boyfriend, tilting her head to the side. "Well, we're not ugly." She joked, playfully rolling her eyes. She continued to lean against Lucas tiredly, her eyes focused on the yearbook. Brooke pointed to Nathan and Haley, who had won the 'meant to be' award thingie. How adorable was that? "Awww...Our very own Naley." She squealed, clapping her hands together happily.

"I better have won, 'most irresistable'. I've dreamt about winning that since I was four.." She said, noticing the questioning glances that Lucas and Haley sent her way. "No, I seriously have..Ask Peyton."

"No, I seriously have..Ask Peyton."

Haley laughed softly and shook her head, before glancing back down at the book. "Well, you won most popular, that's one for two." she said with a smirk on her face. It wasn't that hard to guess what categories that Brooke would succeed in, most popular was just a given.

Peyton loved Brooke's speach, it was truly awesome, and definatly Brooke Davis style. "Great speach." Peyton said to Brooke finally getting into the conversation. "I love it." she said with a smile. Then she just listened as they talked about what best whatever they had gotten in the year book. Peyton didn't really care that much.

"Well, we're not ugly."

Lucas laughed. "No, I guess we're not," she joked with a slight shrug of his shoulder. He continued to let Brooke lean against him. He looked back over to the yearbook and smiled when Brooke asked if she had won 'most irrestible.' That, she was. Brooke Davis could easily turn on the charm. He had first hand experience in that field.

"Well, you won most popular, that's one for two."

She smiled, rolling her eyes. Like Brooke could help that she had good fashion taste and was popular? I think not. "You guys make me seem so shall--" She began to object, but scrunched her nose up in disguist as a majorly overweight girl passed them wearing a mini skirt and a skin tight tank top. "Okay, that should be illegal." She objected, pointing to the girl. Brooke Davis had never claimed to be nice. People sort of just...Jumped to that conclusion all too quickly.

"Okay, that should be illegal."

Haley shook her head simply, before reading over the polls once more. "Nathan won most valuable player." she said with a smile and a very proud tone in her voice. "I won most successful." she said with a smirk. Well she had completed things before many others, but that didn't mean she was more successful, but she'd take it anyway. "I need that picture." she said simply, finding a picture of her and Nathan that she had never seen before.

"I need that picture." Brooke smiled, looking over at Lucas. "You won 'Most Dedicated'. Y'know that's just a nice way of people calling you a loser." She joked, playfully rolling her eyes. Unfortunately, part of it was true. In high school, would you rather win 'most popular' or 'hottest' or something like that, or 'most dedicated'? In life, you'd most definately want the latter, but in high school...You would probably want one of the more superficial awards.
