Name: Shadow blade
Race: dark elf/drow
Age: 243
Weapons: The Lash knife
Height: 1,85 meters

Armor: The armour of eternal servitude.
Magic: Not available.
Eyes: Blue.
Hair: Presumed Black since most drow have black hair but that is unconfirmed.


2. ShadowBlade is a dark elf, he has a muscular build but most of his face is covered in the "cap" of a cloak. Hiding his face in shadows... He wears the armour of eternal servitude which looks like a normal set of plate mail but then made of some form of black rock. This has been a subject of much debate amongst scholars in the past because the armour officially belonged to a drow warlord of the city of ‘hear girf’ meaning “the cry of blood” The original owner was killed in an attack by the sorceress Mortiathi. This was to much for the armours regenerative properties to deal with. Later the armour was recovered from the city when the city was under siege. About 2 hundred and 50 years later the armour was found by a drow exile when he searched a place to rest in a ruined tower There he also found one of the most unusual weapons he had ever seen it looked like a handle with a chain and a blade attached: (only the weapon). He decided that since no one lived in the tower and he could use all the help he could get to take the weapons with him when he left the day after wards. Only the moment he put on the armour he got a vision of the original owner saying power has a price that is often too high. He decided to ignore it as a figment of his imagination, but how wrong he was…. Later that day he was overtaken by some soldiers from his former hometown he tried to fight with his new weapon and armour but although he had done some practice in defensive manoeuvres they wounded him in the arm and before his eye the wound closed and although it hurt like HELL it was worth it because this “miracle” had distracted the soldiers he chopped of one guy’s arm and suddenly he started to act stupid as if his brains suddenly stopped working….. The other guy put up a stiff fight and although he tried to parry and to use his shield it was to no avail he quickly was disarmed and given the proper stimulants he quickly stated talking and was happy to tell of the number of searchers etc. This giving him an advantage he went to the nearest town not already covered by the searchers after killing the 2 soldiers. There he got a mage to ‘Identify’ his weapon and armour he found out that his weapon secretes a poison which attacks the mind, and that the armour was the fabled armour of servitude which regenerates the wearer. He killed the mage and left town. ShadowBlade went across the land for another 25 years never nowing what it was he was searching for but the he heard about a tournament that was held in a hidden place and he know that what ever it was that he HAD to participate….. And so he got into the tournament….



3. Weapons:
The fabled LashKnife, This weapon secrets a powerful poison that attacks the mind of those struck by the blade, although most supernatural beings can shake the effect in about 2 minutes on mortals it last for about 8 minutes. He can also use this as a whip in “Indiana Jones style” to disarm opponents and cross chasms….

Magic:
Other then the weapon and armour ShadowBlade has no access to magic since only the females of his land were allowed to wield the dark arts.

Abilities:
-Regenerative: the armour heals cuts and bruises, broken bones take about 24 hours (this doesn’t happen in game) and although it can re-grow limbs that requires weeks of Excruciating pains.

-The Whip mastery over the years ShadowBlade has gotten to be extremely good at using the LashKnife he can there for use it to disarm opponents and cross chasms etc.

Fighting style:
The fighting style of ShadowBlade is based around using the LashKnife range in combination with the poison to distract the opponent who won’t want to be hit and will probably make errors in the defence while trying to keep the blade from hitting them…

2. Description: My character is basically a cross over between a cat and a man I've got a picture to demonstrate:

3. History: While in his youth (about 5/6) Uruth was bitten by a where cat while on an expedition to gather food for the tribe, luckily the found him before he had bled to death h was on the brink of death for weeks but in the end the shaman of his tribe a most noble and wise cat managed to find a cure to restore all the blood he had lost. When he awakened His mother and father told him what had happened. After the initial shock he realised what now power he now had.... he found his body suddenly changing shape into a big cat, controlling this new gift was to be difficult but he'd learn. After some days rest he went to see the village elder who had saved his life and told him of an ancient secret only the oldest and wisest of his line knew... The meorine were descendants of the old and wise dragon Calendoth who had created them to serve him, but after there old master had been killed they were free to do what ever they wanted they stayed in his woods and they proclaimed them selves free people but at the same time some 300 years before that day it was also proclaimed that "the one who walks with the beasts" would one day arrive to herald the reincarnation of Calendoth. And upon hearing this news he asked the elder to tell his parents that he loved them and he left because he didn't want to bring misfortune on there house. The elder said he would and gave him a quarterstaff from the days when he was still young enough to travel the globe, he told him he wanted him to have it and said him farewell. Since then he has travelled the globe in order to find out if he really id the doom of his race and so far he has found nothing indicating he isn't.... over the years he has learned to control his gift and learned o shift into other "modes" as well,

The Cat mode: thins is just a cat, who's shoulder is about as high as you're midriff (ie. 1.5 meters) in this mode he can climb trees etc. with out difficulty and his dexterity and vision goes up (especially in the dark). Weapons: claws and teeth.

The Eagle mode: in this mode Uruth travels great distances and has the ability to fly however all of his physical stats go down he is less tough and strong although he s obvious more difficult to hit. Weapons: claws and beak.

The raptor mode: this is his ultimate combat mode he is fast, strong, agily and deadly. Although this mode has a form of intelligence (unlike the others) it is cold blooded hence it being slow in the morning and at noon when his body must absorb heat in order to continue functioning it also has a highly developed sence of smell allowing it to track pray in the middle of night of under other "foggy" circumstances. Weapons: claws, teeth and off course the claw on each foot...

4. As previously stated he is pretty much un armed but then again who needs weapons when you've got a 10" claw attached to you're feet???
He believes in "good and right" but he has little use for rules and laws (adnd chaotic good) as the only laws he abides are the pack rules.....

5. Magic: The only type of magic my character can use is his shape changing ability which is diverted from a combination of the were cat bite and a dragonish ancestry, as befits a creature of the wild he is quite skilled with herbs etc. he can make basic potions and some antidotes etc. but he needs help to mend bones and other serious injuries…

2. Description: The Renegade wears a long leather trench coat of black leather with one of those flaps you can raise to protects you from the rain. This usually hangs open and shows body armour (not quit unlike blade’s in the movie). He also wears a mask to protect him from people’s prying eyes, He is known to mess around with an opponent and to verbally mock him while his droid does all the work for him.
The droid is a Big Humanoid with a blade attached to his head and to one arm on the other arm there is a big gun a VERY big gun, the gun shoots Prominence missiles where he almost never runs out of(he has 50). In about 15 minutes Renegade can change this to a mini-gun for those fast and difficult to hit opponents, this one runs on en extended clip off ammo so it has about 10000 rounds (ie 5 minutes of full auto). The droid can be equip with a jet pack but that drains him on suit energy making him easier to hit because his CPU isn’t reacting as promptly do to lack of power…


3. History: What is known about the history of Renegade is based on suspicion and speculation what is know was that the droid was build by the great artificer Dr.Urzea. As he is the only one capable of building such a power full robot that is as functional as this one. The droid’s history begins in the laboratory of Dr.Urzea where he was created in an experiment that was destined to go horribly wrong when the doctor created this droid he wanted to use it to enforce global peace, for it is nigh on indestructible… A noble goal but a group of terrorists known as the medadroidmassive had heard of this plan and saw in it the perfect weapon to achieve their goal: world domination and a life time supply of hot-dogs. They promptly invaded the laboratory dressed in there usual medadroidmassive suits in an attempt to take the robot before it got online and activate it with there own AI program so it would be totally obedient to them and them alone. But when they entered the room they were taken under fire by a lot of lesser droids and were pinned down in the door way until one of them got out a emp grenade and tossed it into the midst of the droids disabling them all, and they got on with invading the lab but when they came to the inner sanctum where the droid was build they killed everyone so there wouldn’t be any surviving witnesses to tell they had the droid but they had forgotten one thing how where they going to take it out of here with it clamped to a table? When they left for the mess hall to get some hotdogs and left guards. The droid somehow killed nearly all of them and apprehended them to the police How no one knows but it is suspected that one of surviving scientists made a link with the droid and unlocked it form the table and used it to kill all the medadroidmassive members. This is all based on the parts that were gone when the police arrived the parts to link ones brain with a droids were missing as well as on jetpack and some extra weapons and ammo and here the case goes blank… there is simply know one who knows what happened to them but there have been found site where the mafia or some similar organization were found after an anonymous call from a guy calling himself “Renegade Phantom”….

More in Depth Sections: The Renegade phantom has a flare for the dramatic, he has been known to parasite drop to the side of the battle or to somehow appear in a tree although the Phantom isn’t the most accomplished fighter on his own he has a more than capable body guard... he also has been known to simply vanish should some thing go bad… also he seems to have an weird habit in battle for when one starts a person always show up and declares it something called a Robattle what ever that is no one knows but until that guy has shows up Renegade does nothing….

5. Magic: All the magic sort of things Renegade can do is that he is DBL (direct brain linked) with the droid so he can give orders and take over should the droid’s CPU get busted by something or someone… This also back fires because when he makes that connection with the droid he loses control over his own body… This in the past has led to him finding his body thrashed upon returning to it…

Overdrive: the meda force: after viewing the show some more i deceided he needed the medaforce: once a battle (or a day what ever is faster) Totalizer can unleash the terrifing power of the medaforce, he'll glow green and his attacks will increase tremendoes ly in power, his rockets, will becone homing and the power will double while his mini gun will shoot one continues beam of energy... How ever the rockets now need time to lock on to there targets and the minigun has a 10 second firing delay and it drains the energy really quickly...


Extra info on the way the character works:

- Renegade doesn’t summon him he just has it with him, quite like you and I would have dog with you…
- If changed the ammo he now stopped having unlimited but the gun is still quite scary...
- Yes, Renegade is the main fighter but he is quite pathetic the only thing he does is appear order the droid around and stay out of harms way…

2. Description:
Well she wares the normal suit of leather armour that is prescribed by tradition to free woman of the serpent tribe that are of the earth cast (the cast of woodsmen and scavengers basically nobodies…) In her demon form she wears a suit of elaborate plate mail that is made of an ironish metal but it’s weight is next to none. She is armed with a staff in her normal form and has a 2 handed adamantine blade in avatar mode. With what she is quite accomplished up to the extend that she can best any man in her tribe who use the sword as there primary weapon and train with it all there life.


3. History:
When Korana was young she was a hunter and a scavenger for the tribe of Myr, All was fine until one day the warriors came home after a battle and there was to be a victory fest in there honour for the glory they gad gathered for the tribe. The scavengers and hunters were send out to gather the food necessary for such a fest this went well for the forest was still in bloom after a lush summer. When the fest was to be held Korana went to the tent and walked in ignorant of the rules prescribing the behaviour of these things. She was promptly kicked out by a guard who had seen her taking a plate and walking to the food, she thought that since she had helped gather it she had a right to eat of it, unfortunately for her she was wrong because the cast of the wild (her cast) where the lowest nobodies in the clan manly those to old or weak to fight and there for had no right to the food or maybe to eat the leftovers. She thought this to be unacceptable and started to train in secret in the arts of magic and the staff skills. This way it was fine until one day about 15 years later she came across an old and abandoned stone building inside the forest. It looked really ancient and as she had gathered enough food to go home for the day she decided to go in for a closer look, After a while she saw a statue that was something of a cross over between an angel and a elf. When she saw that she suddenly heard a booming voice in her head:

Voice: “What are you doing in my sanctum there hasn’t anyone here for 2000 years!”

Korana: “I know this forest like the back of my hand and I never saw this building before so I decided to go take a look If I had known I would upset it’s in habitants I’d never have gone in….

Voice: “So it was curiosity that drove you here? Hmmm most unusual…..”

Korana: “Yes it was. But what is this place, oh wise one?

Voice: “It used to be the temple of Slaahnor before he met his end at the hands of “Abandon” the god of death, destruction and all things vile.”

Korana: “Then what are you doing in here? If the god this temple is dedicated to is dead why would anyone be here?”

Voice: “I’m here for I cannot leave I was trapped inside this statue when “Abandon” destroyed Slaahnor and have been unable to leave since. I need a body of my own or a one I could share with someone until I’m fit to Recreate my own.”

Korana: “And If I decided to take the offer and allow you to host in my body, what would be in it for me??

Voice: “I’d loan you a portion of my power and my memory that starches back to the gray depth of time.”

Korana: After due consideration “I’m willing if I can remain control of my body, what must I do to free you from that statue??”

Voice: “You must do nothing fir this acceptance is enough for me…”

Korana: Ok I’m ready…

After a while she felt a power from before the dawn of this world itself flow into her body and into her mind, she was frightened it would burst but then suddenly it was over and she had a power in her that defied all classification. Suddenly she felt in tune with her surrounding as if she’d be able to extract energy from the earth and nature itself. She immediately went home with the food she had gathered. When she had gone home she gave her food of at the kitchens to be prepared for the “rich and famous” of the tribe, when she had taken a bath in the lake she heard the voice in her head: “Why settle for this puny existence when you could rule this place?? Go to the hut of the elder I’ll feed you the words to say…” She felt the urge to take the power he had offered to her and went to the hut. When she had arrived there she walked in like on that fateful evening 15 years ago. When a guard asked her to leave she plainly replied with “NO!” and walked on to the table where the elder were eating there food, and said the words fed to her the voice, this resulted in just the thing she wanted a duel between her and the most powerful wizard amongst the elder the reward for the victor? Power and a status upgrade to the cast of the Wise(the wizards) or the knowledge that you still had it this were the stakes the battle was to be held at sunrise the day after that what was the best time for those things according to tradition. The next morning: The contestants arrived at the town square (or what passed for it in the village) for a show down in the arts of magic:

Genimaya(elder): “Well if that isn’t the impudent little whelp that thinks it has a chance against me...”(crowd started laughing)

Korana: “I don’t only think I have a chance I’m going to be the only one standing at the end of this… It isn’t to late jet to surrender and live…”

Genimaya: “That has to be the best joke ever…” And shot a spell at Korana aimed at silencing her and therefore making it harder to fight back. The spell missed and hit a bystander who was knocked of his feet by the blast.

Korana: “If you cant hit me with the most basic of spells you might want to quit…” She summoned a earth elemental to fight her…

Genimaya: “lets get this over with… and shot a fireball at Korana but killing the earth elemental instead.
And the battle went back and forth between contestants until they were both exhausted.

Then the voice was back: “need a hand I can have her in 5 seconds flat…”

Korana: “Well it would be nice of you to help…” The others now were pondering to who she had spoken, and if she was still sain…
Suddenly her hair changed colour from the original black to red and her muscles uddely looked like a man’s…

Genimaya: “who or what are you??”

Voice-in-Korana: “My name is not important but you can call me Karona for now…

Genimaya: “You’re name is not important you say and you are right! Eat this!” and she launched another fire ball or at least she tried, the flame never left her hand it just stopped burning before she had even thrown it.

Karona: “If that is the best you can do you’ll never beat me… But this game tires me”
Suddenly a ball of light flew past and where once had been Genimaya was reduced to a charred skeleton.

With the strength boost provided by Karona suddenly gone Korana collapsed of exhaustion and when she woke up again she heard talking in the other room when she had figured out what she was doing in this room she walked to the door and heard the elder talk about what was to happen in a case like this, according to one tradition she gained control of the victims possessions for beating him in a tournament but since she killed a tribes men in cold blood she was to be exiled from their lands according to another ancient tradition. After a lengthy discussion it was deceided that the best way to deal with this situation was to send her on a quest to find the fabled true names of the gods of the tribe:
- Slaahnor
- Ahnum
- Urzean
When this was done she would be welcome to join the tribe once again, this was told to her and all parties knew this was en effective death sentence but it provided a way albeit a long and dangerous one to get back in the tribe. When she heard this she went to the village blacksmith who owed her one and got her weapons from him in return she made I easier for him to de his trade by heightening the temperature in his forge by magic…

When it was time to leave Korana first went to the ancient temple where she had first met Karona Here she hoped to find clues leading to the resting places of the other gods who’s name’s she was going to have to find. But when she entered Karona spoke to her: “you need not find Slaahnor’s true name for it is with in you’re knowledge I can tell it to you for it is my own name that you seek and that name is Ghenkeüm as for the locations of the other names you might want to try Arenum home of the gods on this world.

5. Magic: This selection of spells is best viewed from who can cast them lets start with Korana for she is the original:

- Summon golem: This spell creates a golem of the type of terrain the battle is held on (in the mountains for example this’d be a stone golem) these golems aren’t the most powerful of creatures but they do help in battle. To balance this Korana can only control one golem at a time.
- Naturalize: This spell was originally used to restore the terrain after a war or another calamity, but Korana found it is highly use full for deactivating magical items (the deactivation last only 5 or 6 minutes) or stop enchantments that would harm her or her friends
- Battle growth: target creatures strength and toughness increase for the duration of the spell(this is about 15 minutes) but for that time they are nearly invincible
- Decree of Savagry: This spell takes about 5 minutes to cast but when the spell is cast it is worth it, the physical stats of all friendly creatures is increased.

Now it is time for Karona’s spell selection:
- Carbonize: target creature is reduced to a smouldering heap of carbon this does not affect Pc’s in that way they will just have a lot of pain and some 1st degree burns…
- Lightning bolt: This is just plain ol’ lightning this deals quite a lot of damage but it is distracted by high buildings and all but is very nasty if you are armoured in metal or made out of it…
- Sulphurous vortex: This spell is a spell that is cast and does constant damage to all characters by choking them, this spell ends when Karona chooses to end it or it is dispelled in some way
- Decree of Annihilation: this is the ultimate destruction spell, if this spell is cast( about a 1in 60 chance of success) it wipes the earth clean in a range of 5 kilometres except for supernatural creatures although very powerful creatures are able to with stand it’s effects…

Although this character has some very power full spells the terrain on which the battle is fougth is very important, If it is fought far a way of life and the earth these spells are a lot less potent the effect is also directly linked to the amount of forests (for Korana) or mountains (for Karona) for they are the source of the magical energy used for the spells…

OOC: Plz if this char is used in an rpb don’t put it so far away from these features that these spells are nearly impossible to get off…

2. Description:
Henishemash weirs a suit of black aspect armour modelled to look like a black panther from the myth of the Eldar race. Aspect armour is made out of stuff called wraithbone a organic based polymer that grows and self regenerates. This armour is ridged when not moving and can deflect heavy machine gun rounds if hit in the strongest places (ie. The chest and abdomen) But when moving this armour “melts” to suit the movements of the wearer not inhibiting his movements in any way .
The Black Panthers aspect: These aspect warriors are the embodiment of the fury of Khaine, there job is to strike where least expected and do considerable damage while there, to this end they are equipped with what is known as a Panther jump generator, a device that allows short teleportation, if it is used repeatedly this device only is extremely dangerous as it is unknown where or if you’ll exit the teleport. They are armed with the tiger’s claw and the Panther blade. The panther blade is a weapon that has a device called a power core in the blade; this allows it to cut through the toughest of armours, like a hot knife through butter… He is also armed with the Tiger Claw a weapon that is shaped like a tiger’s claw and is also equipped with a power core only this one is extremely big and is capable of punishing a hole in a MBT (main battle tank). This gauntlet has a shuriken pistol in the back off the weapon so he has some form of a ranged weapon, although he probably won’t be using it… the shuriken pistol is a device used by the Eldar for pistols, the technology is based around a single rod of wraithbone from where the pistol “slices off” a shuriken and accelerates that to hypersonic speed the lack of range and damage of this weapon doesn’t make it extremely dangerous but the rate of fire does this device is capable of shooting 100 of these shurikens a second although they don’t do much damage alone the combine force of the lot does make it dangerous.

3. History:

Upon the Craftworld the word off Biel-tan (or “the sword wind” in the common Eldar languish) an Eldar was born under the name of Silvanol his life was uneventful until one day where he joined his first Path, the Eldar divide there life into path because they find that by embodying a single aspect of Khaine, a single aspect of death and destruction they can leave the things they do in war separate from the rest off there extremely long lives (they get old even by elfish standards). And he mastered there way of war quickly and he was extremely successful in combat. He quickly earned the respect of the aspects elder exarches and they saw before anyone else did that he was slowly but steadily transforming into an exarch. This transformation went on and at one seatrain morning he woke up in the shrine and he was an extension of Henimashean one of the ancient exarch from the time of the fall. The elder exarch presented him with the armour of that exarch and then the change into the next generation of Henimashean was completed, he now was Henimashean. He wasn’t given command of his own squad of Black panthers as was traditional because he didn’t think he had earned the right jet and he left the Craftworld on a quest to search a place that no one was certain existed, he went searching for the black library… With in it the knowledge of how to defeat the nemesis of the Eldar, the evil god Slaanesh. And he left the Craftworld never to return it is unknown what happened to him but these are the tails off his adventures… (the orpgs en rpbs)

This character’s fighting style is a modified from of guerrilla once his opponents know he can strike any where any time he is going to play mind games with them by not showing up or being seen and when the character gets his guard up vanishing again, or things like that… The terror of him showing up and chopping you up and then vanishing again is enough to drive most men insane of fear because you don’t know where and when he’ll strike again.

The magic this character posses are the combined powers of all the souls that inhabiting the armour before he did, the give him the powers defend and furious assault:
Defend: This character is capable of moving is such a way to maximize the blocking potential of the blade the claw and his armour making it practically impossible to hit him in close combat, the draw back is that when he does this he attacks at less speed and .
Furious assault: When charging this character moves with extreme speed and his attacks are extremely ferocious enabling him to attack at twice the speed but what they gain in speed they lack in finesse and they can be parried quite easily but it’ll be close to parry all the attacks.

2. Description:
Nova is a truly stunning beauty her green eyes and red-brown hair a near perfect shade of crimson and her eyes you could easily loose yourself in them forever. Her crimson hair falls down to her shoulders where it curls up (sort of like Tidus’ hair does). Framed in this hair is a face of stunning beauty that would make anyone’s hart beet faster the sheer perfection of the face is difficult to believe and the rest of her body is beyond contemplation so beautiful. She is usually seen wearing wide pants in the colour of her hair and a skin tight shirt in a shade of yellow that matches her pants (and thus her hair) very well. Although in some time settings the pants and shirt will change to a dress in the same shades.

3. History: (Okay I couldn’t do this any other way so I bring you the WoD technocrats)

Nova was born in a small town near Houston in 1984, Nova lived a pretty normal life, she had friends, lots of them male for obvious reasons, a truck load of boyfriends, a pretty normal life all in all, at least as far as a WoD life can be “Normal”. When Nova turned 16 she started having “weird incidents” computers would go hay wire around her, her hair drier blew up once, and stuff like that, little did Nova know that she was experiencing the first symbols of her awakening. She felt like a freak and although she was big and tough on the surface, she had some major problems deep down, and she was asked to go to the school shrink. This of course wasn’t good for her social life as it interfered with cheerleading practice. And she needed a good explanation of why she wasn’t showing up once a week, But in the end she was straightened out and he was convinced her “accidents” were nothing more then a streak of bad luck. And so life continued, Nova was surely but steadily learning to block them out when it would be awkward to have them, and so her little world kept spinning, she became involved with the school quarterback, with whom she had a relation for about a year and then on Christmas eve he called her and dumped her, her Christmas was ruined she spent the entire time locked up in her room crying herself to sleep. She though her life was over, but in the end she got over it and soon she was the hottest catch in school again, and everyone was milling around her as spring formal was coming up, one day she was sitting in the schools cafeteria and your arch typical nerd walked up to her, he had actually gotten a new haircut for the occasion and he had dressed quite stylishly. But as he walked up to her some freshmen was shining wit his laserpen around and when the nerd walked up to her the dot was right on his chest, and then he tripped tossing his lunch all over Nova, Nova could feel the build up she so dreaded and thought one of her “bad luck” moments was coming again but only much much more powerful and just as the nerd fell through the dot, a piece of his head disappeared, and then Nova’s head went light, and as she lifted her hand up to it, she could feel her hair falling out in clumps. As she dashed to the nearest exit, she could hear her name being yelled over the intercom by a very angry vice principal. As she made her way to the locker rooms, for the spare shirt the kept there. Luckily it matched her outfit, and she grabbed her mat she kept there for bad hair days, and with that she looked at herself in the mirror, she didn’t look to shabby. And so she went to the principal’s office and when she got there, she took a moment to breathe in and put on her sad&guilty face, and then she knocked and entered. She had never before been to the principal’s office and she found it to be a mainly functional place, with a large desk with the principal sitting behind it, and someone she didn’t know. As they were talking Nova, having been properly raised waited silently while they talked about stuff, she over heard something known as a “Cob” and she heard the name “dyson sphere” having an interest in space tech (carefully concealed from view) she knew a sphere was a star with a system of colonies around it, sometimes even a shell, but that was less practical, to maximise the amount of energy derived from it. And these guys were talking about it in the past tense but there weren’t any Dyson spheres in the galaxy… this was weird, Nova tried to listen in with out “actually listening in”. And then suddenly they were finished and the stranger was introduced as “Joe Johnston”. The stranger looked at her intensely, not really a stare and she wasn’t really being measured up, but it was something in between. Then suddenly the stranger spoke, “so tell me girl late at night when you’re lying in your bed looking up at the stars, you wonder what it’d be like to fly to them and explore them is that correct?”
“Yes it is sir how did you know?” Nova asked Mister Johnston.
“For I was like you once, I was in this room in very similar circumstances about 30 years ago, Wondering what was going to happen. And what I had done to that kid that was lying there in the arts and crafts room. Tell me, did you do it? And no lame excuses you know you did it, or you didn’t.”
“Sir, I think I did” Nova said, “but I have no idea what I did.”
“What you just went through is known as an Awakening, you’ve had that idea, to quote the matrix, and “You're here because you know something. What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire life, that there's something wrong with the world. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad” Well in this case that something isn’t the matrix it is the supernatural, WE have pulled the world over you eyes it blind the mortals from the truth, in our case there is a spoon and your not allowed to see it.”
“Are you trying to tell me I’m living in the fucking matrix???” Nova asked, “Okay where is that hidden camera?” Nova had always thought some stuff were just too weird to happen and when that happened most of the time you’d hear a “smile your on candid camera”, or something like that.
“Yes and No, we, mages, werewolves, vampires, and some others have blinded you from the truth, we are here and we are VERY real. But we don’t want the world to know we exist, as a vampire I once knew said “We don’t want you to know we are here, the same way the wolf doesn’t want the sheep to know he’s around. It makes our job so much easier”.
At this time Nova was really starting to look for a hidden camera.
“Now okay this as been funny where is that camera??” Nova asked.
“I can assure you Miss Carmine there is no hidden camera, and what I am telling you is quite real. Common girl we must leave now before some of those cops show up and drag you of for jail, and while the New World Order can cover this up getting you out of jail would prove more of a hassle then they think your worth.”
Nova not accustomed to going with strangers, was slightly put of by this man’s demeanour but she had a gut feeling she could trust him, and so she followed him to his car that waited out front, the man told the driver they were going to “the barn” at which point Nova wondered for a moment what she had gotten herself into now. And she and Mister Johnston talked for the duration of the trip, it was one of those talks in which you entire world falls apart, and you realise you have been thinking of the world in 2 dimensions, or in the case of the mortals 1, they wouldn’t know the truth if it bit them in the arse, everyday they see “unexplainable stuff” that would be very easily explained if they’d just think outside the box.

And then they arrived at a barn in the country side, where the car drove into an abandoned barn. Here the driver got out and closed the door and pushed a button near the door. At which point a puff of smoke was released, and the floor gently lowered it’s self to “the ground” of the station below this place. It was quite deep, a good 100 feet below the surface and Nova was wondering what kind of people would live in this sort of nuclear shelter. When they got to “ground level” the man greeted some people that appeared to be his friends, and he introduced “Miss Carmine, of who we can expect great things”. From here they went into a room where a computer terminal was located as well as something that looked like a transporter room from star trek, Nova was instructed to get on the pad and So did Mister Johnston (who insisted she call him Joe) and a corny “energise” scene later they were on there way, Nova found herself in a room that looked a lot like the one she had just been in, but it was like she was looking though wrong prescription glasses. It was a bit foggy and there were strange ghost like things hanging around, they looked nice enough so Nova left them in peace. Then she noted what could only be described as a space ship. “Joe” was walking towards a “boarding plank” and he told Nova that she might want to get a move on, if she didn’t want to miss the ride anyways. Nova got on and was seated in a chair where she buckled up, when suddenly the bay’s doors opened to show a way that lead to a blank wall, but right now Nova wouldn’t be surprised if that wall was just an illusion or something. So she buckled up and made a point of not touching any buttons.
Joe: “this is your captain speaking and on behalf of my crew I’d like to wish you a pleasant stay on board the Jimmy Shroud, on a one way trip to the Copernicus research station, Alpha Centauri 2, our flight time will be 24 hours, please remain seated until we clear earth orbit and the fasten seatbelt sign has been turned of.” At which point he handed her a flask of whisky and a bag for throwing up in. “You will need the first, you might need the second but I don’t think you will… I have high hopes for you missy.” At which point Nova took a long gulp of the scotch and felt it burn a way down her throat. And then they were off, he was right you did need the scotch. And then they were in the earth orbit on the way to Alpha Centauri, where they’d continue her teachings. Nova proved to be a good student acing her tests and soon she was in command of her own AUC, and she has been exploring space ever sinse.

The ship is armed with 4 batteries of twin-linked AFC’s(Accelerated Force Cannon’s) your basic gigantic laser cannon and 2 batteries of 24 TAT’s(Targeted Anti-matter Torpedo’s)think the biggest, baddest missiles in history mostly used for shooting capital ships and the like could be used for sanitizing (read blowing up) worlds or sections of worlds. The ship is powered by two TPU’s (Tass-Powered Propulsion Units) which allow the ship to cruise along at faster then light speeds. Those engines run on Tass (“Mana” in its solid form) which is refined by the ship’s 2 huge STARs (Stellar Tass Augmentation Refinery) which harvest it from solar winds and other particles the ship may encounter. The STARs also power the iMPALA (Molecular Pigment Absorption Adapter) system, which is basically a cloaking device, and allows the ship to be in orbit without out being detected. For the rest it’s equipped with what most ships in star trek have, Holo Decks, transporters, replicators; the works.

Weaponry:

Nova has access to all weapons in al time zones, but a weapon a grade more advanced will count as doing paradox in the time setting.

- Mjollnir Mk.4
Nova’s back up weapon is the Mjollnir mark 4, it’s a gun A VERY BIG gun. Well a heavy pistol (think desert eagle.50) with the punch of a shotgun and the kick of a mule, when intimidation is the name of the game or the enemy just wont stay down, you can count on Thor’s hammer to get the job done. Unless outfitted with a raptor silencer (it is…) the Mjollnir thunders like a mad god. Its heavy grain shells rip through solid concrete, and in flick horrific damage on living flesh (or unliving for that matter), In tecknoligical terms, Mjollnir uses Forces procedures to increase kinetic energy of the bullet. The gun chambers large custom made ammo (ECA) which aren’t magical (the guns had a tendency to blow up when that was tried). A mind trick adds to the guns fright factor(the wielder is REALLY REALLY SCARY). In the hands of the unenlightened, these guns tend to misfire or explode, although it is possible it will shoot once or twice.

- “Dark ages”:
A crossbow with a couple of trimmings, a small yet powerfull scope and some other minor trimmings like extended range, an ECA and a raptor silencer, in effect the bow has the range of a rifle is totally silent and does a tad more damage. The bow looks like this: exept for the clip(on top) and a small laser sight which is positioned underneath “the barrel”.

Types of ammo:
- AP ammo these are your average crossbow bolts with some minor trimmings making them more stable for use as sniper ammo.
- Dumdum(or jacked hollow point): when these bolts connect with tissue they shatter into tiny pieces making very large exit wounds. Very effective against un-armour spots but utterly useless against armour.

- “the now”:
In times zones approaching the now she uses a M82a1 (or for alien worlds something similar) with some technocracy trimmings, a part magical bipod totally stabilizing the barrel and preventing it from moving, a motion predicting scope (think the ones they use in Ghost in the Shell), A Raptor silencer, and the necessary ECA.

Types of ammo:
- AP: this ammo consists of a flachete that secures a dart of armed uranium which can easily pierce armour, and is stabilised enough for sniping by 4 fins at the back. Great against armour but not really damaging to the tissue underneath, just makes a round hole all the way through.
- HE: This ammo explodes on contact with someone’s skin or armour tearing away great chunks of either this round is also very good for anti material use. A very all-round round good against pretty much everything.

Types of ammo:
All “now” ammo and the following:
- Gauss: These rounds turn into plasma upon leaving the barrel and they accelerate to mutch higher speeds then the terminal velocity of other rounds making dodging these very difficult, pretty all-round ammo.
- Pulse ammo: (Everyone who knows FF8 knows this is the shit you want to look out for…) These rounds are partly magical in there construction and therefore cause major damage to everything, thing about detaching limbs and bursting chests with one bullet they go through everything and anything, they virtually ignore armour while still cause major damage to underlying tissue. In RPB Nova carries 5 of these rounds.
- Shock Shells: These rounds do a very substantial amount of Electricity damage to the people they hit, enough for a small E.M.P. field, which destroys most of the energy consuming technology they might have.

- ECA: Endless Clip of Ammo, one of the Iteration X’s newest gizmo’s is a clip that actually fabricates the ammo you want, good for about 500 rounds before the Tass runs out and you need to recharge it with an APC.
- APC: Advance Power Cell, a device that stores Quintessence(Mana) in its “solid form” (Tass) for use in al most all devices Nova uses.
- Raptor silencer: this is a somewhat non standard silencer, instead of dampening the shot it transports the sound waves to a place where no one either hears or cares(in the WoD its usually the latter).
- “The bond watch”: This is the woman’s version of Bond’s famous watches, it comes with all the trimmings Q’s ever managed to cram in. If it’d be “Bondy” to have in the watch Nova Has it. It’s a pocket watch in the Dark Ages, an analogue wrist watch in the now, and a digital watch in the future.
- The “real” swiss army knife, this is the handle of a swiss army knife with a button attached, point it at the object and push the button and the cpu will scan the object and thick what you are most likely to want to do with the object and form the perfect tool for the job (do aim good for it might think your pointing at something else) Everything is in there from welding tools to a small sowing machine for fixing the button that fell from your shirt.
- “Set to guns to stun” hey its better to steal something good then to design something bad is what the Iteration X must have thought so they designed this device that takes the speed of the bullet and spreads it out over a bigger area, blasting you of your feet but with out any adverse side effects other then a bad whip lash and some bruises(all guns and projectiles feel about as bad as a paintball gun which hit your entire front//back at the same time).
- Univid, Universal ID, this little gizmo is the id for the job, everything from FBI badges to the proper id for that meeting with the crime boss this is it. (not entirely accurate without an example of what you want to make).
- Tricorder, this is your basic star trek tricorder, it even looks like it…
- Power Suit, This suit (all her clothes except for the night suit) can be “switched on” when that happens, the suit sends out an “inferiority wave” that makes the wearer look really important and imposing.

She also has a couple of gizmo’s on her that can prove useful in distress situations mostly a “walky talky” that can connect her to her ships computer (of course one with true A.I.), most other tools she can get the computer to assemble (or replicate for the trekkies) and beam down to her location.

5. Magic:

Nova is quite accomplished in Forces, Prime, Correspondence and a bit in Mind. On her ship she has a computer that can do some Dimensional Science.

Nova doesn’t use spells as such she combines the 3 above elements to form spells, Forces can for example be used to send electrical systems hay wire by creating and removing small currants, or it can be used to light fire by creating sparks it can also turn her invisible by “bending the light” around her. If you think this is un fair wait until you read the back lash these spells have, Correspondence is the art of employing magic at a distance she has a range of about 10 to 15 meters (30 to 45 feet) and lastly mind magic can be used to “read minds” and do similar tricks on people; Can also be used for telepathic communication.

“Nova’s Favourite procedures(spell list; including but not limited to)”:

Calculate Kinetics (correspondence 1)
Where is that object? How fast is it going? What way is it going? How long will it take to get there? And similar questions all answered in one stroke.

Laser enhancement (forces 2)
Turns a low power laser (like a laser sight or a laser tag rifle) into a laser powerful enough to cut through steel plates.

Laser Production (Forces 3)
This is an improved version of Laser enhancement it allows any artificial light source to produce a deadly laser beam, needs a lens of some sorts to focus the light though.

Detect mental anomalies, (Mind1)
Scans the mind of the targetto see if the target is under influence by, disciplines, gifts or other forms of mind control.

Locate Quintessential flow, (Prime 1)
This allows Nova to see the local streams of quintessence that lead to a Node.

Tap Node, (Prime 3)
Allows Nova to extract Quintessence from a Node and store it in herself or another storage container.

Covert Node to Tass (Prime 3)
Allows Nova to turn the Quintessence in a node into Tass, for storage in APC’s or for use by her ship. This procedure it the one powering the STAR units.

The backlash known as paradox if someone sees Nova use magic for stuff that can’t happen (including but not limited to fireballs and the like) Paradox lashes in; the worse the violation the worse the backlash is. For example of Nova would fire her gun (the c-20a) in a fantasy setting she might do an “Anime + cute chick” style back flip, her hair might turn into feathers and/or something else. If the violation is bad enough she might die or get her memory erased.
Or just cause a cascade that eradicates the world she’s on…

On fantasy worlds Paradox is lessened but its still there.

2. Description:

This character wares a leather jacket and a pair of wide cut jeans, these are well worn like qn “normal” man’s favourite outfit although not so badly as to appear “bummish” for lack of a better term. All of his guns are hidden on him the pistols in the jacket pockets (the holsters are fixed into the lining) His skills with his guns is exceptional he could with the pistols hit a coin at 200 passes, whether or not this is the result of practise or some implant is unknown and the source of speculation. All the guns are silenced and the only way you’ll know you’re getting shot at is by either getting hit or hearing the bullets whizzing by you’re ears.

3. History:

The first thing Alex remembers ever is being in fresh man year of Tarsus school for the elite, he knows he has for e 16 for that is the age that schools fresh men are but before that he has no memories, and one fateful day Alex finds himself a member of the elite Tarsus Intermediary program in Chicago, a training program for augmented antiterrorist and special-ops soldiers. He is suddenly roused from sleep early one morning amidst chaos and confusion, rushed to a secret airfield, and transported away from the only world he has ever known. Hours later, he finds himself confined to the Tarsus facility in Seattle "for his own safety." Of course this is to ensure the governments investments in him, for he is one of the only humans in the world that are capable ob nanotech enhancement. His education continued in another school where all of his old class mates where nobody had a clue to what was going on, but they knew this wasn’t a good thing. The training got more and more centred on combat education (think the combat academy in the dune books, the end is quite like it), a couple of people left the school unexpectedly, some other people were called home by there parents. And in the end all those remaining were a tightly knit unit until one day they were sent on a mission and they were ambushed, resulting in the death of 2, which drove the remainder of the unit to go MIA, he went on to become a soldier of fortune, he is on the governments top 10 most wanted list for numerous break ins and hacks in order to find out who or what he is, concurrently he is employed by “the army of 11 monkeys” a terrorist group seeking to over throw the government and replace it with monkeys because they think they’d make more sensible decisions…

Alex is an extremely capable individual and will head into any challenge even if this would be most unwise given the circumstances… but he is so sure of himself and that he is vastly superior to the rest of everybody… His special powers come from nanotech enhancement they run on bio electric energy a supply of which is always generated by his body, consider it mana although his powers aren’t limited by the same things magic some times is (i.e. No anti magic field or magic resistance), these abilities include regeneration, infravision and the capability of optic zoom and the possibility to go invisible (I might add more but I want to know how this works first) …

2. Description: Hemanius is a basic Wood elf tall and broad. But there the basics end, he has long red hair while most wood elves have Black or blonds unlike the palish whites and greys of the other wood elves his skin is a red or pink… This was caused by his merger with a Fire Elemental by the wizards of the Ravenguild. His weapons are a claw (the armoured sleeve) and the magical blade Glam that he found when breaking out of the raven guild. (There is a picture in the attachment).


3. History: The first memory of Hemanius is waking up in the Ravenguild in his tank. When the wizards came to look at there latest experiment he always made sure they didn’t know him for what he was awake and conscious, and one day when the candles suddenly went out he heard this mysterious voice in the back of his head:

Voice: “Hemanius, it Is time for our escape from this lab, we have been there slaves and toys long enough.”
Hemanius: “Who or What are you? And how do you no my name WHAT is going on here?”
Voice: “Hemanius, Who I am is irrelevant we are now one. We should break out the time is rife, tell me you don’t desire to be FREE…” Hemanius couldn’t say he hadn’t wished and desired to be free and he agreed:
Hemanius: “I do desire to be free but how would we get out of here? That tank is to strong for a mere mortal to break…”
Voice: “but you are no mere mortal not anymore, for I am Henkominasher (Immolation is the closed word we have it’s the entire Idea of to immolate) Elder fire elemental and in a way you’re room mate.
Hemanius: “What are we waiting for??” and he bashed the window of his tank and he could feel his power in creasing exponentially as his essence combined with that of Immolation. And as the elemental had promised without words he was indeed able to break free for after to punches the glass fell out and he was free!
Immolation: “we must hurry the guards are sure to have heard the sound of that glass crashing down on he ground” and with that they were of into the nigh. Immolation seemed to know the way out of the prison where he was kept.

After a while he was indeed Free of the prison and he found himself in an armoury where he found the most unusual blade he had ever seen… After Immolation’s pushes for him to grab it he suddenly found himself holding it and sliding his hand down the opening… It al fit as though it was destine to. And after while he ran into the guards of the guild: “Suddenly to guards turned into the tight corridor where Hemanius was catching his breath. And they attacked him suddenly one of the guards flew ablaze and was burnt to cinders by the power of a mere though at him burning… and the Blade -Glam it was engraved and he thought it was it’s name- was surprisingly easy to wield as though it had a mind of it’s own and the other guard died soon after.” HE got out with out to the wood streets of Mercadia where he disappeared down an alley into a bar called “the wealthy goblin” Where he slept in a room and the day after he found he had n recollection of ANYTHING that had transpired before he woke up, he spoke 2 languishes (human and his home dialect of elfish) but he had no name and no history… So he decided he would call himself Hemanius what meant “Ageless entity”. And another couple of days later his arm stated to hurt, and over the cause of time if turned into a claw! They quickly figured out that the mutations wouldn’t stop there and they needed to find a way to move Henkominasher from his body to his blade Glam… And after they completed this using a captured Ravenguild member for knowledge they left town, from here the story is unknown as it is yet to unfold…

- Mind over Fire: Hemanius can manipulate fires and create them with thought alone any thing from a mach light to a blazing inferno swallowing a house are possible although the lager fires can get out of control and are very difficult to create….

The powers of the sword Glam:
- Deflection: the sword feels lighter than air and can be wielded at incredible speeds (This is partially for the fact that Henkominasher is in habiting it and partly because of the magical nature of the blade glam) but as a result it can be used to parry an extreme amount of attacks and deflect arrows and bolts.
- Inferno: Once a day Henkominasher can use it’s power to unleash a jet of flame This is completely out side of the control of Hemanius although it usually happens at conviniant times
- Resurection: The weapons energies regenerate Hemanius although not extremely fast.
- Warpflayme: The weapon once enraged is a torrent of fire and flames and there is a chance that once you are hit you and you’re clothes are set on fire…

2. Description: Anbu is an Avatar. Avatars are a part from a god that has fallen from the sky on to the world. These pieces become mighty beings. Anbu is one of those beings. He once was part of the god Anubis, the god of the dead and embalming. He looks like the picture in the attachment. He’s seven feet tall this makes him look imposing over mortals and most other supernatural creatures; he is quite broad and quite handsome in a weird way. So some (im)mortal women -and lets say “Different”- men might be attracted to him, this is not caused by his looks or his personality he just has this weird vibe, some would call it animal magnetism. But in the end he is quite handsome. He is most of then seen carrying the staff of Anubis which is a quarterstaff with a Jackal carving on one end.

3. History: When Anubis witnessed creation at the hands of Ra he knew he had to do something similar he could now however create a whole world for himself so he created an avatar, someone to teach the new people, the wonders of the dead and of the embalming. When he arrived on earth he was startled by the amount of humans there were and the knowledge they already possessed, in the instant between his birth and his arrival here centuries had apparently passed. He found the people had already started on a crude form of mummification and he thought it was about time they learned how to perform the proper rituals on those that had passed away. He waited until nightfall until he chose o enter the city for he did not want to cause unrest. After nightfall Anbu entered the village and went to the temple of Anubis, which he found with out effort fore his gods gaze, was stronger here than for many miles around… When he entered the temple he made his way to the inner sanctum, where he knew the high priest would be having his evening meal. He indeed was and he was quite surprised to see a living breathing representation of his god might. He quickly fell to his knees and started uttering how if he had known Anubis himself was coming; he would have arranged a suitable welcome for His Divine Divinity.

Anbu: “I am not the great Anubis mortal, although I am flattered by the comparison between us; I am his representative in this mortal world.”
High Priest: “I am none the less honoured to have you here. What have we done for you Godliness to praise us with you’re presence?”
Anbu: “The gods are pleased with your works although you have much to learn about the art of embalming. I will teach you.”
High priest: “I Praise the gods for there wisdom we knew that our method was for from optimal it is the best we can do until we can develop a method that is better than the one we are using now.
Anbu: “I will teach you and then present you with a gift from the god of the dead himself can you promise me that one you have it you’ll promises me to share it with all the temples dedicated to Him?”
High Priest: “I will do what I can and I’ll try to get your knowledge to all the temples dedicated to Anubis in Kemet (ancient word for Egypt).
Anbu then started to tell him about the “ancient” process of mummification, the teaching to weeks and months but when he was done he presented the high priest with the original copy of the book of the dead. And then he left the temple leaving an astonished high priest. But the priest kept true to his word and promptly had a dream in which the great God Anubis presented him with the book. And after that the progress of the book trough the Egyptian society was unstoppable, practically all Egyptians had a copy or had one in there homes. Here Anbu vanished out of history although it is wildly believed by the scholars he went and did the same thing at the temple of Thoth to ensure the knowledge would be remembered, and uncorrupted. Here he vanished out of history being occasionally seen in other cultures, in the same role. He was last seen in Incan times, until he there to vanished.

Weapon:
Staff of Anubis, The Staff of Anubis is said to have belonged to the great god Anubis himself. It is so infused with the power of the god it can smash trough most non magical armours, and it also works as a magical amplification tool he can channel his spell through the staff (not while using it as a weapon) to increase the potency of the spell.

Fighting style:
Will prefer to stay away from his opponent while using as much magic as is possible, but when that fails will fight skilfully and knows how to kill with his staff (he has been known to sever heads with known clean stroke). However capable he is in Close combat he prefers to stay out of harms way.

Persona:
Anbu normally is happy enough to follow the goals set for him by his god. He will do this in 2 ways, one by getting mortals to do what he needs done usually by telling them he is an emissary of gods and he wants them to do the thing he needs done and 2 by doing it himself. He prefers to let other people do what needs to be done so he can sit and think on his next move. How ever he always keeps close watch on his pawns to ensure they don’t f*ck up. And if the do he’ll most often have a back up plan ready, if he doesn’t, he will get the job done himself.

- Song of the damned:
When Anbu casted this spell the world seemed to come alive the tree’s started to rustle and the wind started blowing and all of a sudden Anbu was regenerated and furious for the way he -an emissary of the gods- had been treated.
This spell calls upon the souls of the fallen in the area to share a portion of there energy with him regenerating his life and mana supplies. Naturally this is easier on places of great blood shed or where high emotions -on which the spirits feed- are/were.
- I live again:
Suddenly a wraith appeared in front of his unknown assailant he said in a most creepy voice: “I live AGAIN!” and then he shrieked to wards Karona and when he made contact he found that his spiritual; energy had left him.
Summons a wraith that taps some of the opposition’s mana(or what ever energy his spells are created from) and then vanishes (doesn’t drain much just about 5% of max - 10% if channelled)
- We all shall die:
Suddenly ShadowBlades head was filled with fissions he saw his death at the hands of this weird adversary at the hands of his loved oves at the hands of who ever he could think of…
This spell causes the target to have very vivid visions of his/her death and for about 5 minutes (8 when channelled) the target is convinced they are going to die, and there for will fight only on instinctive reactions, no sword play, spells or anything (can only be cast once every 30 minutes).
- Eye of Horus:
His opponent had vanished he was nowhere to be found. “The fool did he realy think he could RUN from me?” Anbu thought. He quickly channelled mana through his staff and shapped it into the spell Eye of Horus. When he casted it he saw his adversary was hiding in some cave somewhere in that direction and so Anbu set of to find his opponent.
Anbu gets a vision of where his target is this spell is quite useful if his opponent is hiding somewhere (the vision just reveals a location and the general direction it is not some form of a GPS beacon, this spell gets more accurate when channelled through the staff).
- Resurrection:
Suddenly Lerahk found himself dealing with multiple skeletons, where first had been only air and his opponent there now was a small army of the dead.
Summons forth 5 skeletons (they are way weak so it should be alright) to take hits and confuse the opposition.
- Consume Soul:
Heanishiman was suddenly wrecked with pain and he thought Slaanesh was devouring his soul, He had never been this hurt in his life. But luckily the pain was passing and he felt a little better.
This spell causes the target to suffer intense pain as is indeed his soul was being consumed. This spell gets more powerful the more mana and time is spent on preparing. This spell works even on things where you don’t think it should, like demons, Angels and vampire’s.
- Spirit pulse:
Suddenly Uruth felt a flare of pain spiking trough his body, he looked down at the place the pain originated from and found a black dart sticking in his flesh but it was vanishing. And then 5 more of those dart flared at him, he was quick enough to dive behind the cover of a nearby tree. But he was still hit 2 more times, but he was save FOR NOW.
This is a damage spell that can be cast at moments notice but doesn’t do a lot of damage, although it does completely ignore magical immunities and protections.
- Toth’s Disdain:
His spell had failed! He cant believe his control over the FlameOrb had slipped and he quickly prepared to cast again, but found he couldn’t it was as if someone was blocking his control over the flame… Hemanius couldn’t believe it he immediately though “Those Blasted Wizards” were involved. But he gave it no further thought, as he had more important things on his mind like his own skin…
Counters a spell or ability used by an opponent and prevents him from casting that spell or using that ability again during the battle. Usable only once per battle
- Bindings of the Pharaoh:
Karen was winning the fight everything was going great; it was good having an opponent worthy of his time. Until he saw the-would be-Anubis summon some form of bandages and he was bound fast and he found himself unable to move...
This spell restricts movements the bandages are quite strong, but most supernaturals will be able to break them... It still gives a nice advantage to Anbu (most often used when he is losing)
If channelled through his staff the bandages give the target a nearly unbreakable shield but they also completely prevent him from moving and casting spells. Can only be used on team mates. (Anbu can charge Consume Soul when this is cast on him).

2. Description: Centigors are a disturbing cross between four-legged creatures, such as horses and oxen, and the bipedal beasts of Chaos, merged together by the warping powers of the Wastes some time in ages past, although some are born of ?normal? Beastmen living to close to the chaos wastes, They possess the hindquarters and forelegs of their quadruped ancestors, granting them great speed and strength, but the upper body of a humanoid with which they wield brutal weapons. Most often pole-arms and the like for they are strong enough to use these with ease.
Strong of limb and fleet of foot, These Beast-centaurs are powerful creatures. However, they are not especially agile, and while they have great strength they lack the dexterity to manipulate objects with any skill or control. Centigors are bitter and spiteful, resenting their awkward nature, and harbouring a deep jealousy of creatures whose minds and bodies are better matched. Centigors live on the northern and eastern edges of the forests of the Old World, where the trees reluctantly yield to the sparse grasslands of the Northern Wastes. They are nomadic, without settlements or even encampments of any kind, finding what little protection they need in the lee of cliffs and natural rock shelters.

3. History: The youth of Kaz-rak was like all centigors a complete pain in the ass, as he had upon being born ?ripped? his mom beyond recovery and in the process ended her life, this was quite common amongst centigors but it usually only worsened there situation in a tribe. So he was an out cast right on birth and he would surely have died if the Shaman (also a centigor but revered for his wisdom) hadn’t taken him under his wing and thought him all he needed to know to survive. When he had done so, he told him of a centigor Pack that lived in these parts where he would probably find shelter and friends. He also instructed him in the arts of combat with the various pole-arms in his possession he found he had an innate understanding for the halberd. So he taught him until he was strong and able enough to leave for herd. Upon Parting he gave Kahz-rak the halberd ?Bonehew?, His old blade. It was a magical blade that prevented the wounds from closing by an old enchantment. So he left the tribe where he grew up in, and the old bull brought him to this centigor pack, and he told them what a great warrior he was and that he was to be accepted as one of them. After he did this he returned to his shaman seat.
Kahz-rak was happy there he was finally accepted for what he was and he had a voice in what was to be done, and he was happy there.
Until one day about 25 years later, he woke up to find himself in the lee of the cliff they had camped in but he was the only one alive there, the rest dead from injuries or fire. Upon investigation he saw a trail leading from the site; it appeared one man had walked there and not more then to hours ago. How could one man have beaten his entire tribe? He vowed he would kill that man or die in the attempt. So he gathered some supplies and eh followed the trail. He made good speed at an easy gallop and after about 2 hours he had sight of the perpetrator. He charged and impaled the man on his halberds pike. The man in his dying breath cursed him with life everlasting but also told him he?d never be able to love again.
He found his feelings were indeed numbed, and not from the shock he stopped feeling attachments, he felt nothing when he thought of his old clan mates or his mentor who had thought him everything he knew and raised him as a son. And he left? And he has wandered the world ever since.

Kahz-rak is a cursed creature, he wants to feel but finds he cannot. He is therefore difficult to work with and very pessimistic and nostalgic. He's not that bad when he let's you in but that doesn't happen very often.

5. Magic:
Kahz-rak has very little magic prowess he has limited survival spells, create fires cure light wounds and the like he is also very skilled in the arts of herbal medicine and can create poisons and potions if he has the time to search for the proper herbs.

Homid
Karen Newport has a very handsome face and long fowing black hair down to his shoulders in Homid form, He looks “different” but not freaky it would almost appear to be some sort of an animal magnetism. He is very handsome and attractive -although he has unusually dusty skin- which generally makes women friendly towards him and men (in general) envious and resentful. He is quite broad and well shaped (as a man I have no idea how to describe this) If he was asked he could well be on the cover of Playgirl… He wares what ever clothes are “fashionable” in the time of the RPG. He weighs about 75 kilograms with out one gram of fat on his body, which is weird if you have seen him eat since he has been known to eat his body weight in one sitting
His eyes are quit beautiful and look o hold a certain wisdom which one doesn't expect in someone that young... (in order to shift from here to feline he must pass all the forms in between first going to Sokto then Crinos then Chatro and in the end he assumes his feline shape of choice.
Sokto
His general shapes stay the same and he can quit effectively cover his ear shapes with his long Hair and he gets even more handsome although the traits do show and are quite visible it makes him more handsome in a strange way... His weight increases to about 100 kilograms, most of which is still muscle.
Crinos

Not the most flattering picture because I had to resize it… But it shows the general idea about 7 feet tall weighing 200 kilos mostly muscle grace and lethality can use the claws for which cats are so fabled
Chatro
Looks like a large sabre-toothed version of the extinct "great cats of kaypur" about as big as a large tiger or lion how ever it is no manes what so ever, and it is heavy enough to bash about every thing (up to ogre size) to the ground before having it for lunch claws are very very frightening but they are in proportion with a cat about 6 foot high and weighing about 275 kilo grams.
Feline
This is one of 2 forms an ordinary house cat resembling an oriental shorthair or one of the now extinct Great cats of Kaypur which were worshiped in ancient Egypt. Unfortunately I have been unable to find a description but I think it looks like a tiger or lion only with jet black fur.

History:
I'll explain a little more about were-cats in general before I'll start on Karen's personal history;
- Silver; This isn't the only way to kill were-cats it just makes it impossible to regenerate there wounds, but any way who has silver weapons with them anyway they break easily lose there edge after one blow so this shouldn't be a real problem...
- Rage; When Gaea and Luna created were-cats and all other were-creatures she granted them with rage which they use to in crease there speed and perform certain rites and rituals, This isn't in unlimited supply and it is generally replenished when one is either insulted or fails something critical (for example if one continuously misses ones rage level rises and if one makes fun of you in battle it will quite often be the last thing they do)
- The werecats were originally created to serve as the eyes of gaea the other were-creature served different purposes (the wolves were the warriors -or fangs- of gaia for example). They are a proud breed and the Bubasti are very proud even for werecats.

Long ago in the Age of the Egyptians the Bubasti were once revered, And they were seen as images of the gods and they helped each other out the Bubasti got there secrets and the Egyptians were free of rats and the plagues they usually bring. They even build a city in which they and there kin folk could live and prosper. This balance was maintained for close to a thousand years, and during this time a cat was born A cat that was some ho “œdifferent”, from most cats. During his youth he was left ignorant of his heritage as was tradition with the were-people and his youth was almost happy, even for one as distant and scholarly as the young Eternal-truth.
He grew to maturity with out much incident until he was reaching maturity at about two years, when he suddenly the first change hit him. He was sleeping one night out in the savannah when all of a sudden he was wide awake feeling a little strange but as if he was about to find out the purpose of this existence... He felt his body change and then he blacked out but when he came to he was in his normal form and he saw there were corpses laying there of poachers and some other things. But there was a spear laying there with an aura of magic and power, as they didn't need it any more he decided to take it with him and he picked it up and went to Bubastis where he had heard stories about cats changing shape and he hoped they could instruct him...
When he was on his way he met one of those fabled creatures, one called Purrs-at-the-moon, who instructed them in there ways and was his helper for the first year, at the end of the first year He was granted his Bastet name Eternal-truth and he was instructed in the tribes Yava ““or clan weakness there most secret secret- Which explained his never ending appetite -for Bubasti are forever hungry- and that he should strive to protect the tribes immortals for If they die the tribe dies with them.
This was fine until some 15 years later the 2 vampire Suketh -or seth- and Asar or osiris- waged war on each other which ended in the destruction of Osiris as is described in Egyptian legends from that time. I could tell you their story but it isn’t relevant to my history... As it was the Bubasti were caught in the crossfire of this war that raged all and were almost extinct. But the Childred of Osiris were eventually destroyed by the followers of Set. And the Bubasti were the ones that had to defend the black soil of Khem as it was still called in those days after the Silent Striders were out cast and cursed by Suketh’s followers, But the hungry ones learned one vital lesson during this time of trial which still endures in the night of modern day cairo, they learned that in order to win this ““very one sided- war they must be patient and wait for the perfect moment before they strike the blows so they may inflict maximum damage with each blow and have the largest chance of getting away unharmed...
But back to the history of Eternal-Truth, he was one of the few Bubasti that didn’t go under gorund during those difficult times and risked his lives on many an occasion to gain a better understanding of the enemy they face, and his progress through the ranks was steady but swift, and he learned of the more obscure gifts of the Bubasti, and he learned the gift of the scarabs flight which has earned him a right to live in the modern nights and bar untimely, death at the hand’s of Suketh’s vile kin he will live to see the Apocalypse which is rumoured to be near at this time... Those vampires don’t call these the final nights for nothing you know...
He is now one of the most influential werecat’s on the planet and the Setites tell the disobedient children that they will deliver him to Eternal-Truth for he has killed so many of them he is a “boogieman” and many songs of his exploits are sung around campfires late at night when there are no humans near and it is quite possible that he will pass into legend when the apocalypse finally arrives to wipe the filth of the Wyrm of this planet...

Weapons:
Spear of Gaea:
This spear is imbued with spirits which grants the spear and its wielder special powers.
Here’s a short list of each spirit and it´s effect(s):
War spirit: Damage dealt by this spear is almost impossible to heal without high level magic.
Terror spirit: This allows the wielder to send out a radiance of fear causing normal people to flee.
Oak spirit: Makes the weapon indestructible.
Fugu spirit: The spear spreads toxins through the body’s of it’s victims resulting in reduced stamina and life force (ie. max hp).
Banshee spirit: Upon striking a high shrieking is emitted which reduces chances of opponents blocking or dodging.
Chameleon spirit: User can either become invisible until she makes an offensive move, or makes an illusionary duplication of the wielder.

Karen can use the spear with an unearthly grace and skill. As well his speed is legendary amongst werecats.

Dual knifes of Al’Catar:
These knifes burn with a bright fire which is caused by a fire spirit inside of it. The knifes deal fire damage.

Magics and Ability’s:
Rite of Talisman dedications
This right enables the clothes and weaponry of Karen to match his currant shape in Crinos for example his clothes vanish and his spear grows longer so he may use it with out difficulty. This rite also enables him to shift to feline and back with out having to “re dress” as his clothes reappear and disappear as soon as he passed Sokto.

Gift of save return
Karen can activate this Gift to make an item she owns or is owned by a friend- return to her as long it’s more then 20 meters away.

Catfeet
Karen has an (almost) unfailing sense of balance which results in his never tripping and the like, also makes him more dexterous then the average werecat (which are VERY dexy)

Sent of the true form
Karen is capable of identifying any creature no matter what they do to hide their true nature/identity. For example if a spirit posses a human, Karen is capable of seeing through the human skin and learn of it’s true form.

Cursed Blood
Through using this Gift, the Bubasti's blood becomes black and acidic, inflicting damage to all who come in contact with it. If Karen is cut open with weapons they may quickly lose there edge (and even dissolve if they re of low quality or of weak materials) Magical weapon will not dissolve although they a=may lose there edge.

Barrier of the Ka
A mental shield forms in the Bubasti's mind, warding off foreign influences (immune to mind magic)

Suketh's Fury
This potent Gift allows the Bubasti to assume a powerful and deadly sixth form. The Bubasti shifts into Crinos, grows an extra 2-3 feet in height, and sprouts a mane of jet-back hair not unlike a lion's. His claws glow red and are wreathed in flames. This of course looks very impressive and raises the physical stats of Karen enormously but when this is done she falls into deep sleep which lasts for 6 hours.

Whisper of tiny paws
This allows Karen to change into a house cat in which she is completely indistinguishable from an ordinary house cat (short of magic)...

Scholar's Friend
A simple yet helpful Gift, this secret allows a Bubasti to read a book, scroll or tablet in any written language. This talent doesn’t teach the cat any new language, nor will it help him understand esoteric concepts or missing bits of text. Even so, the ability to read anything set in front of you is a subtle yet powerful gift.

The Fleeing Scarab
One of the Bubasti's most obscure tribal secrets, this Gift allows a cat to remove her soul, incarnate it, and send it out of harm’s way while her body dies. The soul, which often takes the form of a flying scarab beetle, searches out an appropriate new host body, climbs into its mouth while it sleeps, and "lays" the old soul into the new host. The Bubasti who knows this forbidden secret is theoretically immortal, though such longevity is purchased in other beings' lives.

Lick wound
This gift allows Karen to lick his wounds which will close stop bleeding and generally heal. This takes quite awhile and each wound must be treated separately

Silent stalking
This gift allows Karen to pass over any object without making any sound. Even squeaky wounden floors or dried twigs can be passed over with out making any sound.

Clawstorm
Any cat is dangerous when cornered, so is this one, when cornered this gift may be activated to give Karen an incredible burst of speed.

Walk between worlds
This allows the Werecats to enter a place called the umbra -or Shadow- which is a separate yet some how the same. In this spirit world one can communicate with spirits and exchange favours. No one but were creatures can enter, if you are there it is VERY advisable to lay low and hope nothing sees you cause not all things are very nice there.

Monkey’s uncle
Allows Karen to change his looks to resemble any humanoid race(must be about the same size and mass) he doesn’t know the customs or bear himself right, but he looks the part very successfully.

Kittens cry
Also called "Pathetamew" for its pitiful sound, this Gift imbues the werecat's voice with a tone so pathetic that anyone who hears it goes out of his way to comfort her. This compulsion extends to attackers, who break off hostilities unless they're attacked in return. Most Bastet consider this a dirty but useful trick.

Killers leap
By invoking this gift, the Bastet may leap incredible distances (double or triple the expected distance)

Feed the Gods
By reaching out with his hand, a powerful Werecat can rip the heart out of an enemy from a distance, pull it to his palm, and consume it in a burst of fire. This Gift kills the target if it succeeds. Only strong magic can rebuild the ashes of the heart or grow another one in its place. This gift is VERY VERY difficult to pull of(on in 5 tries works and it can only be used once per battle)...

Banish Burning
This Gift became necessary during the Madness, when sorcerers and witch-hunters both tossed cats on the pyre to please demons and God. With it, the Bubasti may protect herself or a companion from normal fire and grants a resistance vs. magical fire (ie 50% less damage).

Regeneration: This character regenerates it goes pretty fast non magical sword cuts heal in about 5 to 6 minutes although the same cut made with a magical blade would take at least 25 minutes...

BTW is what i do with my characters considered editing? if it is I'll stop posting them in a single post... i you mods find it annoying I'll stop...

Heroshimitsu is as you can see a half dragon, With green scales and red eyes and a very broad sword. The sword is made of a material that looks like ruby but as of yet has proven to be nearly indestructible (not as much as a scratch is on the blade and it’s been used pretty intensely).

History

Heroshimitsu was born in a land for to the south where Hergiouni were seen as deviants and mutants, it was seen as a omen of great misfortune if a woman were to give birth to one of the Hergiouni and therefore he was banished from his clans home as a child. This resulted in the loss of the (in his culture vitaly important) Family name (it’s the first one for the non Japanese experts)and his adopting the name Ronin, but on to his personal history…

Once upon a time in a land for to the south a Hergiouni was born onto a family of high standard, they lived in a large mansion and were respected people who’s line descended directly to the founders of the land many millennia ago and who had distinguished themselves in all area’s of battle and science alike. However if it were to come out one of them had given birth to a Hergiouni this would all be in vain so they killed the slave who had helped deliver the baby and the brought it into the mountains while on a “hunting trip” they left him there to die however they left a note saying that any who took the child in would always be welcome at there house. And so it was that the child was found by a hermit living in the mountains who took the child in caring little for what the people in the valleys would think He raised the child in the ways of the Aseyant. And so he was raised until adulthood (a good 110 years) and mysteriously the old hermit seemed to neither age nor change; however he never paid much attention to it. And then one day when the hermit thought he was old enough he gave him a sword it was big and he wasn’t strong enough to even lift it let alone use it in combat. And from that they on the hermit started training him in the art of Aseyant swordsmanship. He proved to be a fast student when he would finally hold the blade and in the evenings he was thought the secret art of Aseyant contemplation and the way one must focus ones chi in order to achieve the gifts in the warriors of the tales he was so fond of as a child. And then one day he left the child saying he would be back by sun down the following day he was going into town to make good on a promise long forgotten and to make some arrangements because there were some people he needed to meet…

And so he left the child with his sword and his contemplation, and the child busied himself with the chores that needed doing for he was a good child that always did as was asked of him. And so he spend his days perfecting the arts of his swordsmen ship and his contemplation, and when the old hermit came back the following day he brought with him 2 people they looked like the old hermit but they couldn’t be much older then he was himself, and he walked out to greet them after putting the sword in the scabbard he had made for on his back. And when he walked out to greet them the hermit introduced them as his brother and sister; He of course greeted them heartily for he had heard the hermit tell them tales of his family. They were of course a little surprised seeing there older brother standing there nearly full grown towering a good two feet over them due to his wings… And they spent the entire day followed by most of the night up talking about how their lives had been and what they hoped to achieve… What Heroshimitsu found weirdest was that he and his brother had strangely lived very similar lives, and soon they decided that to morrow they would cross swords to see whose skill was the superior. This being said they both went back to there beds to sleep for they had a busy day tomorrow… However Heroshimitsu did not go to sleep immediately –he found he needed less sleep as of late- but instead spent time in contemplation and meditation. The following morning they faced of in battle they proved very equally matched sometimes one side would gain a minor advantage but never would that gap be exploited quickly enough to settle the duel that was until after a good hour that suddenly his sword started to give off a green glow and while his movements previously had gotten slower due to fatigue now became ever faster and it would appear he was no longer in control of his sword but rather that it moved with a mind of its own. If it continued in this way his brother would soon be unable to parry all the blows and then what would happen no one could know… But then the old hermit came in and he started to speak in a strange tongue to the sword that made the glow lessen and the strokes lessened. However one of the blows had already lobbed of the arm of his brother and he was loosing blood at a rapid rate, however then the sword started glowing red and his arm was suddenly mended back to his body and the blood “leapt back in” as if it was in reverse. The brother was needles to say appalled by this breach of the rules of the duel, but he did see it was not the fault of his adversary and so he quickly forgave him (his sister was played a not so small part in this). Heroshimitsu bade his brother for forgiveness, and his brother gave his forgiveness on the promise that he would complete is training and be ready to answer the call of his fathers house should that feel fit to call on his services. After this they set down to have some lunch. However they had exhausted there supply yesterday and they would need to go hunting, and Heroshimitsu’s sister asked if he could carry her through the air when they would hunt, Heroshimitsu ofcourse agreed to take her airborn however he felt a little shaky about it due to the fact that he ha nearly killed someone an hour earlier. But they came back with a large beast his beautiful sister had felled with her dai-kju (large 7,5 foot long asymmetrical bow) and the ate well that day. And the next morning they left and Heroshimitsu continued his training. When the old hermit couldn’t teach him any more he left for the north where he heard of a true master was where he finished the training.

Abilities:

– can fly: well what do you think this does????

- difficult to block: due to both the force and the weight of the blade Heroshimitsu wields he blows are very difficult to parry as doing so would leave you with a good chance of breaking your arm (or shield) and maybe even breaking your sword. Therefore it is more advisable to try and deflect it instead of stopping the blow.

Dragon breath: the breath of Heroshimitsu although less powerful then a full dragon is still more then powerful enough to use as a weapon…

Only one of these abilities may be used at one time

-Red fire of the Aseyant: the sword smokes red (like in the picture); Heals damage to other people however could be used on him self but then it is less efficient. And in stead of healing large damage like the chopped of arm it would only heal cuts and bruises.
- Amber fire of the Aseyant: the sword smokes amber (like in the picture);The smoke coils around Heroshimitsu and protects him from hits, it will stop about one (also works against magical spells) in 3 hits however the smoke obscures vision and therefore he finds it difficult to see and attack when in this form (how ever as the could is quite small it doesn’t really work on enemies other then that it stops there weaponry)
- Green fire of the Aseyant: the sword smokes green (like in the picture);The blows caused by the sword become increasingly quick and increasingly more powerful but he is unable to block when this starts, for the sword is to focused on attacking. This power ends when he has been hit but since the opponent will be hard pressed to defend against the unsought of powerful blows he will be hard pressed to hit him.
- Orange fire of the Aseyant: the sword smokes orange (like in the picture); And will start swirling in a defensive pattern making it very difficult to hit the bearer however the sword can not be used as a weapon while it is doing this for obvious reasons, Will end when user hits the adversary.
Violet fire of the Aseyant: the sword smokes violet (like in the picture); The smoke the weapon emits shoot at a specific target and will cause damage there comparable to archery fire (averages 12 hits) However this ability is not controlled by Hershimitsu but it usually happens at convenient times and never when it is would hit himself.
- Black fire of the Aseyant: the sword smokes Black (like in the picture); The smoke the sword emits is very dangerous because it causes wounds it makes to become infected with a virulent poison which incites the limb to rot and decomposes at a rate far superior to normal, the limb will rot and decompose in a matter of minutes usually about 15 after that it’s so far gone that it is useless. However this ability is not used unless it is in the most severe of circumstances, due to the fact that it is against the way of the Asayant to use it.

Weapons/ Armour:

Great sword; looks like in the picture is a non magical sword not really mutch to say about it :S…

Crimson armour of Dargan: This is less an armour then his own scales (and those are green) however it refers to the spell which created the protective power, just picture an invisible suit of full plate mail and your about right…

1.
A gargoyle basically looks like a statue made from of black stone, although it is quite deceptive he is vampiric in nature. It has two wings on his back which are fold up most of the time during battle and mostly used to fly from one place to an other.
His 2 heads is doglike, abit like Cerberus in the Greek myth. He is quite broad, about 2 meters around the chest (if you were to ignore the wings on his chest) the heads have spines on top which go down the back and then onto the guy’s tail which is about 5 foot long. He isn't really dexterous but his strength more then makes up for this "lack". Because of his 2 heads and tail he is utterly repulsive (well to most humans anyway) But at the same time this makes him look very very scary this is most often enough to dissuade most opponents from attacking him how ever he can always use the power dread gaze to dissuade most of the remaining opponents from attacking.

2. History:
History of the gargoyles in general:

In the Middle Ages, soon after the destruction of Saulot, the Tremere clan found itself surrounded by its enemies... The Inconnu, Werewolves, jealous Mages, the Tzimisce... The proud, young clan didn't really have to bother with the Werewolves or the Mages. The first weren't great in numbers and the Tremere knew all about the second's tactics. After all, they were dealing with the thing they had been earlier. But the real enemies it had to face were the Inconnu and Clan Tzimisce. The Inconnu were angered by the death of "The greatest and wisest of all Antediluvians", Saulot, and the Tzimisce were angered by the presence of a competitor-clan in their "neighbourhood".

They were facing two totally different threats. The ancient vampires of the Inconnu, who used their highly specialized disciplines against the young clan with deadly efficiency. And the Tzimisce, who had their vozhds and szlachtas to help them (war and guardian ghouls whose fighting abilities are multiplied by the treatment the Tzimisce give them by using their discipline, Vicissitude). Tremere himself had the powers of Antediluvian, and could have easily resisted the Inconnu, but the Tzimisce were another thing... Their Antediluvian was still awake. They had more Elders than the Tremere had. They had armies of their Ghouls. And the worst of all, as the Tremere quickly found out, Tzimisce Antediluvian had an Awakened Avatar, which meant that he had the ability to use magic, just like Tremere himself.

The Tremere needed a force that was able to face the threat the other clan posed. By using great magical rituals, the Tremere created an artificial creature. It was created by mixing Nosferatu blood with Tzimisce blood and covering a statue with this mixture, and then, by using the magical powers and blood of the Antediluvian himself, gave it life. The eyes of the statue opened. The mouth opened also. The statue originally was a six-armed warrior, but to the Tremeres' surprise, the stone moulded itself to the shape of a "normal-looking" humanoid creature with spiky skin and wings. It looked at it's creators with newfound intelligence. The Tremere Lord quickly dominated its still-shaping mind, and forced it into his servitude. He smiled diabolically and told it to "go forth and multiply".. So it did.

It attacked the near-by villages with rage and embraced new vampires with the speed which made even the Tremere a bit afraid of them. But the Tremere Antediluvian was happy, for he still maintained control over the First One and through him, all his children. The Antediluvian smiled again, as his army of gargoyles tested their wings and flew to his castle just in time to save it from destruction by the attacking Tzimisce Force. The First One was more powerful than anyone had expected. He possessed the powers of a dozen of Tzimisces' best War Ghouls. The battle was turned.
The war raged on, and the Tremere survived it as winners. The gargoyles served Tremere and his children with great loyalty. The First One was the only one capable of creating a childe, for those of the "second generation" had too weak blood. But then, Tremere fell into torpor. The gargoyles were under his mental control, which met that they were set free. But this didn't happen. Once the Antediluvian closed his eyes, all the "second generation gargoyles" howled in pain and turned into dust. Only The First One survived the lack of mental control. It flew to its master as soon as it could. And stood next to his chest, guarding it with his life... The Tremere Clan was once again without its' "muscle", and without a defender, so the Council of Seven decided to repeat the Antediluvian's ritual and create another Gargoyle. The ritual worked again, but the council noticed, that the created gargoyle was unable to create progeny and was far weaker than The First One. And that one person could control only one gargoyle a time. If the controller died or lost control over the creature (by falling into torpor or somthing like that, because they found themselves being unable to end the mental control), the Gargoyle turned into dust. So it the Tremere couldn't gain a potential army, at least after they found out, that no Tremere of the Eight Generation or higher (ninth, tenth, eleventh...) could create a Gargoyle. That was the end of the armies. But the birth of the Gargoyles.
The creation of a Gargoyle is well kept secret amongst the Tremere these days, and only the most powerful of the clan know how to do it.

History of Granite Grip:

When the first gargoyle came forth from the infernal Cauldron that was there unholy womb Tremere Himself called this gargoyle Granite Grip and he was the first gargoyle to hear the words “Go forth and multiply”, And that he did before the night was over he had created 5 children. He followed the orders of his master Tremere for many years But in the on his 250th birthday he decided he had enough… And he escaped the house hold of house Tremere, before going to the ground and waiting for 100 years in torpor. When he had awoken from that sleep it was time for him to ensure a power base, he quickly ghouled a number of servants and took refuge in an old abandoned castle near Prague. Here he lived quite comfortably and was even accepted in Elysium where he secured quite a powerbase and sired another 50 of progeny. These how ever were requested to serve him as a body guard for when Tremere’s servants found him. It was during this time he mastered most of the disciplines he has to day, and when the Tremere came he was ready for them. His private army combined with the forces from the allied Primogen quickly decimated the army, although at quite severe losses, After this battle he discovered the secret of Diablery, and after devouring the souls of Tremere’s servants and he found himself feeling more powerful then before. After this victory he left Prague to vanish out of history and although sightings have been reported he and his coterie were never caught although the Tremere certainly tried…


3. Weapons:

Abilities:

Some basic vampiric rules and abilities
- Should a vampire drink your blood you become for some unknown reason so intoxicated that you’ll do nothing other then just hang there in his arms, this however has been known to be resisted by creatures with superior strength of will.
- Grip can fly using his wings at speeds up to 40 mph.

Potence 9 •
This Discipline defines the superior strength that vampires possess. This additional physical might allows great feats to be accomplished, far beyond what a normal mortal would be able to perform. Potence allows vampires to jump and leap great distances, lift greater weights, and inflict greater harm upon objects and individuals when they are punched or hit. Grip has mastered this discipline to such great heights that he can pick the “empire state building” and use it for weight when he feels like pushing weight.

Protean
1 • Gleam of Red Eyes
The vampire may see in the dark. When she is using this power, her eyes glow emerald green. This change takes one post to complete.
2 • Wolf Claws
By expending some blood the vampire may grow large talons on each fingers making the wound they cause very very lethal and making it difficult to heal them due to the vampiric energies that still infest the wound.
3 • Earth Meld
By spending some blood, the vampire may sink into the ground, gaining shelter from sunlight. This doesn’t only works on earth; this power may be used on concrete, asphalt, and similar substances.
4 • Shadow of the Beast
By expending some blood Grip can change into either a wolf or a bat.
5 • Form of Mist
By expending some blood Grip can change into a mist this mythical nature of this power means that the mist can not evaporate or be blown apart however it can move the mist around.
6 • Adaptability
The vampire may survive and function in a particular extreme environment, such as extreme cold, underwater. Upon learning this power Grip chose Underwater for should he ever need to hide from the Tremere they would never think to look there.
6 • Flesh of Marble
The vampire’s skin, while retaining its usual flexibility, is as hard as stone, and she will take only half-damage from everything except fire and sunlight.
6 • Earth Control
The vampire may move around in the earth, as if swimming in it.
7 • Homunculus
By pulling some flesh from the back of her mouth, the vampire may summon a three-inch-tall copy of herself, which has a personality that is a warped version of her own. This creature is most useful as a scout and for other similar uses how ever it is very easy to destroy and can only exist for three hours at most. However due to its small size it is very difficult to spot.
7 • Form of the Ghost
By spending a blood point, the vampire can become insubstantial. The vampire’s appearance doesn’t change, she can move as if real, she is not affected by gravity or wind, and she may pass through solid objects.
8 • Movement of the Slow Body
The vampire may move at an inch per minute, even if she is staked, or would otherwise be unable to move.
Auspex
1 • Heightened Senses
The vampire can sharpen any or all of her senses, at will, for as long as she wants. However, traumas caused by sensory overload (IE very bright lights, loud noises, etc) while in this state last much longer. How this comes into play is decided by the other players, who may describe details more fully. The vampire will also sense things that she would otherwise not sense, that might be important.
2 • Aura Perception
The vampire may read the aura of another. He has learned what the colours mean and is able to see the shifts as the target goes from one feeling or the next he can use this advantage in an nearly infinite number of ways the most common being that it is difficult to lie to him and that he can see the shifts in an opponents aura right before he attacks… This power also allows for minor classifications of opponents auras of vampires are for example much paler than others.
Fortitude
9 •A type of supernatural toughness and vigour which allows Kindred extra advantages in resisting the harm to which their kind is especially vulnerable, All vampires have a powerful constitution, and are able to shrug off the injury inflicted by guns and weapons of all sorts. However, most are very susceptible to sunlight and fire, and are easily harmed by them. Those with Fortitude are not easily bowed by even these elemental forces, and are even more resistant to "normal" injuries. He has this power on such a high level that trips from one side to the street to the other and fireballs are easily survivable… they still hurt they just aren’t fatal.

Obfuscate
1 • Cloak of Shadows
The vampire may be unnoticed by most, by hiding completely motionless in a shadow, or in a place that puts an object (not necessarily an object big enough to hide behind) between herself and others who might see her.
2 • Unseen Presence
The vampire may go unseen, and even be subconsciously avoided, by others. This power means that should grip be walking around in a night club people will make way form him even though they cant see him and don’t even know he’s there.
3 • Mask of the Thousand Faces
The vampire may assume another appearance. This is only in the minds of others, and often others will see different forms. The success of the power allows Grip to change his appearance accordingly…

4 • Vanish From the Mind’s Eye
The vampire can disappear from view. If the vampire leaves promptly after this power is used he has a good chance the target forgets he was ever there.
5 • Cloak the Gathering
Until this level of mastery is attained one can only hide ones self how ever after this power he can for example cloak himself and the patry by using the “vanish from the mind’s eye” power.
Visceratika
1 • Whispers of the Chamber
The vampire can detect all others within an enclosed area the size of a large apartment, even if they are using other disciplines to hide. How ever to detect people with those disciplines he could best use the discipline of auspex.
2 • Skin of the Chameleon
By spending some blood, the vampire can make her skin adopt the texture and colour of her surroundings making it very difficult to spot Grip.
3 • Voices of the Castle
The vampire can detect all others within an entire building, or other enclosed area, even if they are using other disciplines to hide. Again the discipline of auspex is better suited for “cloaked” individuals.
4 • Bond with Terra
By paying some blood, the vampire may sink into earth, stone, brick, asphalt, etc. However, the vampire is only directly below the surface, and her outline can be seen on the surface. There for He uses earth meld more of then than this power.
5 • Stonestrength
The vampire feels less pain and could still perform complicated actions with any reasonable degree of success should for example grips leg have been cut of, and her damage taken by fire is cut in half This power is cumulative with “skin of marble”.
6 • Rockheart
All damage done to the vampire by penetrative weapons is cut in half, and unless an attacker has a lot of strength (like being able to lift 600 kilo’s), staking the vampire is not possible.
6 • Dark Statue
The vampire is physically unaffected by sunlight, however the disadvantage of this power is that she turns into a stone statue while doing this and can therefore not move.
Celerity
Grip can move so fast that he can launch salvos of blows or empty an entire magazine in the blink of an eye he can also use this power to run at incredible speeds and if he wasn’t as big and heavy as he was he should be able to walk on walls due to the speed at which he is moving. (need less to say he can dodge attack and use disciplines in the same blink of an eye, and his attacks become very difficult to dodge if someone doesn’t have lighting reflexes or some similar power)

Daimonion
The powers he gains below the sixth level all have to do with the inert weakeness’ of mortals (for example being able to find out who has sinned and the like) how ever he doesn’t use those because he feels it is against “proper manners” and would make him as bad as the Tremere. However he has learned the discipline because at a high lvl of mastery one can become entirely immune to an object of his choice. He chose hammers and this protection exceeds in a limited manner to all weapons which trust to a hard blow and bone shattering force to inflict damage (like bats, maces and flails and the like.)

Presence
1 • Awe
The vampire can make others attracted to her. The effectively of the discipline depends on the number of people in the surrounding area. With only 5 people this is simple to do but however at 20 or 30 people it becomes much more difficult.
2 • Dread Gaze
The vampire can adopt a threatening presence against a victim This makes the person flee in terror and if this power is successful the targets new priority in life is to get as far away as possible. Should grip manage to corner the victim it will most often start begging for its life or roll up into a ball and hope he goes away.
Serpentis

1 • Eyes of the Serpent
The vampire may paralyze anyone with whom she makes eye contact, for as long as eye contact is maintained. However this takes very much effort to maintain if the victim is supernatural. When this power is learned the eyes of those who learned it turn in though the eyes of a snake however this is not very visible on Grip for his eyes look like the gemstones emerald but if you look closely you will see a shading effect in the area’s where a snakes eye is black.
2 • Tongue of the Serpent
The vampire may change her tongue into that of a serpent, being about eighteen inches long and forked. This tongue can inflict cuts with the razor edges of this appendage however the damage of this tongue while formidable is nothing compared to the brute strength of his muscles and therefore he uses it mostly as a distraction and for feeding. This should be considered equivalent to the Kiss, including the pleasure caused in those on whom it is used.
3 • Skin of the adder
By calling upon her Blood, the vampire may transform her skin into a mottled, scaly hide. A vampire in this form becomes more supple and flexible. This power also boosts Grips already formidable defence with an extra layer of armour and increases his dexterity by a little, due to the changing of the bones and skin tissue. But the main use of this power is to lessen the effect of fire damage against grip. When this power is activated his skin becomes all serpent like, although if you see him in darkness or under the power of obfuscate you probably won’t notice.
4 • Form of the Serpent
This power (as its name suggests) allows the vampire to change shape into a serpent in this form his hearing is less lessened and but his nose becomes much more powerful and he changes shape into the form of a snake he is able to move through tiny holes in this form, this form is a good 10 feet long and weighs as much as Grip’s “human”.
5 • Heart of Darkness
The nature of this power is that it allows the vampire to remove his own hart and place it in a jar, this renders the vampire “unstakeable” and reduces the chances of him frenzying. This heart is often buried or otherwise hidden for should someone find it the vampire in question is completely at that persons mercy, the hart (should you ever find it) is only destroyable through either fire or sunlight and this will have the corresponding effect on the vampire (turning him to stone of doing considerable damage respectively). (Grips hart can be found on the bottom of the pacific in a stone chamber about 10 miles below the see surface…)
Quietus
1 • Silence of Death
By spending some blood, the vampire may create a zone of a twenty-foot radius around her, within which no sounds will be heard, and no one will hear anything. She herself will only hear sounds made outside the zone.
2 • Scorpion’s touch
By bringing a point of blood to the palm and touching a victim with it, the vampire may reduce her general health and ability to take wounds, a minor cut might start bleeding profoundly, the success of the discipline depends on the original stamina and how much you want to reduce it, however if enough success is made the changes are permanent.
3 • Dragon’s call
This terrible and recently rediscovered power allows an vampire to drown her target in his own blood. By concentrating, the vampire bursts her target's blood vessels and fills his lungs with vitae that proceed to strangle him from within. The blood actually constricts the target's body from the inside as it floods through his system; thus, it works even on unbreathing Kindred. Until the target collapses in agony or death throes, this power has no visible effect, and many vampires prefer it because it leaves no trace of their presence. The power must however be activated close by and with in an hour of contact, and some of the most resilient creatures (were-wolves for example) have been known to survive this great and terrible power.
4 • Baal’s Caress
The penultimate use of blood as a weapon, Baal's Caress allows the vampire to transmute her blood into a virulent ichor that destroys any living or undead flesh it touches. In nights of yore, when vampire led the charges of Saracen legions, the Assassins were often seen licking their blades, slicing open their tongues and lubricating their weapons with this foul secretion.
Baal's Caress may be used to augment any bladed weapon; everything from poisoned knives and swords to tainted fingernails and claws has been reported.
5 • Taste of Death
A refinement of Baal's Caress, Taste of Death allows the vampire to spit caustic blood at her target. The blood coughed forth with this power burns flesh and corrodes bone; some vampires have been reported to vomit voluminous streams of vitae that reduce their targets to heaps of sludge. This does comparable damage to “Baal’s caress” (see the lvl 4 power)

6 • Blood Empathy
The vampire may leave her current emotions in the blood of a vessel or himself, and these emotions emerge in any vampire who drinks from them, for one day per pint of blood imbibed. Grip uses the often with the emotion of fear so that he may have an even more easy picking on his targets.

So What?

Presence 2, Fortitude 2
The natural Vampiric resistance to authority is reinforced by supernatural toughness to give rebels a chance to resist emotional manipulation. Should anyone fail to use any power that tempers with emotion and fail to use it properly it backfires on them…

Tipping the Hourglass
Celerity 3, Fortitude 2
Some vampires have learned to channel their incredible speed over the course of hours rather than moments. While at any moment they move more slowly than they certainly could, they are able to sustain extraordinarily fast movement for much longer than the blood expended would suggest. He can use the speed granted by Celerity over the course of hours to an entire night this makes him more slow at certain times while it also allows for longer burtsts of speed.

Annihilating the Fall
Potence 4, Fortitude 4
While most Kindred do not fear falling relatively short distances, very high falls can be a serious problem. To get around this a Kindred can learn to channel the energy of her fall and release it away from their body safely. The damage is lessened to the extend of the powers of strength and fortitude, this meaning (in grips case) he is practically immune for falling damage (why he didn’t just fly away is something I still don’t get:P)

King of the hill
Potence 2, Presence 2
This power basicly mean s that it is impossible to move Grip(unless he wants to). If you hit him with a ten ton truck the truck will crash and buckle around him but he is still standing there… And due to his toughness and his power of fortitude he’ll probably walk away unharmed… The truck will be totalled…

Igniting the Righteous Rage
Those Kindred who explore and understand their inner rage understand equally well how to ignite it in others through violence.

Burning Wrath
Grip glows red upon activation of this discipline and his fists deal what grip likes to think of as "aggravated damage" which enables him to ignore physical immunities.

Flesh wound
Any wounds Grip sustains are immediately "cloaked" they are still there, you just don't see them, this of course is very unnerving for the opposition as there best attacks are (or appear to be anyway) utterly pointless.

The unseen strike
Grip can attack at his full potential without (like normal vampires) becoming visible in the process. Needless to say this is a very scary prospect and if they survive the first hit they will quite often be on there guard to stop this from happening.

The shockwave
This is one of grips inventions and there fore the quite unimaginative name, this power allows Grip to hit the air in front of him (or for best results clapping his hands) and then create a shockwave which knock opponents of there feet and uproots trees and the like this is a very cinematic power and Grip like to use it in tight spots.

Mental wall
This power allows Grip some manner of privacy, His mind can not be read, and if one were to read his aura it would say something like "critical error cannot be read" This power also bumps up his already considerable skill in obfuscate to the level that all but the most powerful mages with the appropriate spells can't detect him.

2. Description: On the outside Katara is a stunningly beautiful girl, the kind that makes guys (and shall we say “different” woman) tend to walk into land posts as they turn they’re head to whistle and ogle her smooth form. Usually seen in a “Chinese dress”(its what Kasumi is wearing in DoA) in the Yellow and Black of the Henkoshi, below that she seams to ware a body suit from the knee’s to halfway down the upper arms, but unknown to almost all its her suit of armour. She wares it extremely well, and can sway the hearts of men with a glance and crush hopes with a single look. Beautiful girls are indeed the most dangerous things in the world.

In her armour however she looks like the walking incarnation of death, her head looks like a snarling black panther, and her body is covered in a thick layer of what appears to be black fur, she even grows a tail. This is a pretty scary sight and when you’ve seen her in action you’re prolly going to end up with “cat-a-phobia”, assuming you survive the experience of course.

3. History:
A long time ago a man fell in love with a female Kami of the woods, and between them they sired progeny, which was the start of the Henkoshi clan of Ninja’s. To this day that can be seen in a somewhat more delicate bone structure, somewhat pointed ears and (on average) stunning good looks. Time passed and the wheel of ages turned to where it is today where a child is being born in a hidden village to the UddoKage, and his wife who wasn’t a direct descendant of the Kami of old, because she had moved in from the village of the Waterfall. They named the childe Katara in honour of the Kami with whom the line had started and although she didn’t have any of the original Fae blood in her veins she was still a loved daughter of the clan.

The childe grew up to be a stunningly beautiful woman with the young men making (VERY) indecent proposals, the old men wishing they were ten years younger and the women of the village treating her with envy. She proved to be surprisingly quick in the uptake of the Ninja’s many jitsu’s and to possess great control over the demon wood, some people actually thought she was the great Ichigo reborn, so total was her control, and while she appeared to like her life in piece with books and contemplation, something was stirring inside.

She wanted to see the world, to experience what life was like outside of the villages protective walls, and when she graduated the academy she got herself assigned on a team who’d be going to the village of Konoha, to prepare the party garden for the celebration of the Hokage’s 75th birthday, they’d be gone for a month, and get to watch the feudal lords and Kage’s of most other nations and villages, and as was tradition they were to steal the Hokage’s hat while in Konoha, but this time with a twist, they were to replace it with a party hat.

And so they got to an outlying part of the village where a piece of ground had been marked of, they immediately spoke to the tree’s to find out who was willing to be relocalized to another part of the wood, and to there surprise most of them were, having great respect for the people of Kohnoha. So when that was done they got out the seeds they had taken with them, seeds of the most splendid flowers in the world which would be used to adorn the Hokages’s new contemplation grove. During the creation of the grove when it was nearing completion the Hokage himself decided to drop by to select the colors of the flowers he wanted, when an attack was launched by shinobi of another village(OOC first one to go “HEY I KNOW U” decides which one has a price on my head), The rest of the team perished in the attack but both Katara and the Hokage managed to escape unharmed, and the last ninja to die told her with his ding breath that her dad had died in a most painful way, and that they wouldn’t be the last of the ones coming for her. And that they wouldn’t rest until “your entire clan of less then humans” would lie in ruins.

The Hokage offered her a spot in his village when she had recovered her senses a while later, which she graciously accepted and he also asked her if she’d be his date on his birthday to show the strength of the bonds between Konoha and her village. When she went home she stopped by the shrine to offer prayer for her parents and friends, whom had died in the conflict. She swore an oath not to rest before all ninja who had joined the attack had lain dead at her feet (OOC if you want 2b on her black list volunteer yourself). Before going home and crying the night away.

During her time in Konoha the one once known as Henkoshi Katara became what was “back home” known as an exarch someone who is so in touch with the spirits of her armour and sword that they can no longer truly been spoken of as “her” and it is more like “they”…

Weapons;
The Panther Blade:
The Panther blade was made by a member of the clan known as Ichigo, who was both a skilled artesian and an expert Shaper, it is a dual bladed Katana with a serrated edge, the blade uses the Properties of the demon wood to atrophy the blade itself when not in use, and when you draw the blade it gets “grown” from the scabbard, the handle is made of Demonwood and will fuse with the gauntlets of the user to avoid dropping the blade and making it –almost- impossible to get disarmed. The blade is surrounded in a blue charka field, which makes the blade seem ever sharper, and enables it to cut through most materials.

The Panther’s claw:
This weapon was also made by the great Ichigo, and was used on his right arm, where it served the purpose of finisher, the claw its self is covered in wicked spikes on the fingers and knuckles, but its main power lies in a large gem that has been inserted in the glove, which releases a pulse of charka on contact with the opposition, which is strong enough to punch through the front armour of a modern tank (or of course do a very tsunade-nobaa-chan style hit). On the back of the glove is something that resembles a barrel but not in the strictest sense of the word, it’s a pointy grows with a slot in it from where shuriken can be lunched these are launched in bursts of 12.

Armour;
The Demonwood plate:
Using the Demonwood’s power augmented by the skill of a trained Henkoshi becomes one of the most scary weapons in her arsenal. For example, Katara can “Grow” weapons as she needs them, most often knuckle dusters, claws, or spikes. It is about as strong as a suit of modern day bomb disposal kit (ie GREAT versus bashing and shocks, and still pretty okay versus “sharp stuff”)

Katara’s armour isn’t as armour in the traditional sense of the word, it’s a living thinking entity and therefore putting it on isn’t as much of a hassle, on attack or upon as little as a thought, the armour grows to fit the needs of the situation, and when the armour isn’t needed anymore it “withers” as the wood recycles the materials needed for construction and falls of in tiny black flakes(like the ashes of paper), This effect isn’t 100% procent efficient though and some energy is lost, and people often wonder why such a small girl is eating enough for a grown man.

Other equipment:
Katara has a large variety of seeds on her including but not limited to: Nightshade, Monkshood, Garlic (GREAT disinfectant and has about a million other medicinal qualities) and Bamboo. As she can grow these plants as the circumstances dictate she always has water, food, and other usefull stuff at hand. (Of course she has intimate knowledge of the plants she has with her and if I use one of them in combat I’ll give an url to a site which describes symptoms and the like in case of a poison.)

Fighting style:
“Embrace Nature’s Wrath”

The style is based around a series of rituals known as Katas, which all show a different aspect of nature at its peak, the prowling wolves, waves breaking on the beaches and the grace of the willows branches caught in the wind. Due to this highly ritualized form of combat the body moves on its own rather then needing “directions” from the mind which heightens efficiency but as it responds in a manner of predetermined ways it can be a downside as well. The main advantage being a faster response time, the senses working directly in conjunction with the muscles without reporting to the brain first, but possibly even better is that while one surrenders the control of his body to one of the Katas one separates the soul from the actions the body commits making it easier to live with the actions war necessitate, separating them from your soul as easily as it is to take of the helmet of one’s armour.
The fighting style s complimented by “auto jitsu use”, jitsu’s the style triggers when it is beneficial to do so, the following jitsu’s can there for (with the noteworthy exception of the Super displacement technique) NOT be used when one isn’t in the kata it is attributed to.

These Kata’s work as follows: when in combat one can surrender control of ones body to a Kata which will then work for it’s pre allotted time period (usually between 5 and 10 minutes) and then one regains control of ones body, during this time period it is IMPOSSIBLE to act on your own accord.

The individual Kata’s are named as followed:
- The way of Willow’s Grace;
- The way of Breaking Waves;
- The way of Stone’s Resilience;
- The way of Prowling Wolves;
- The way of the Coiling Mists;
- The way of the Striking Tigers;

All the Kata’s are described in more detail further down; As of yet my character has only mastered the Kata’s of Willow’s grace and Breaking waves. One “learns” these styles in “moments of clarity” (for example: I plan to teach Katara Stone’s resilience in a battle where she can’t win because she tries to defend her own body and when she quits doing that she wins) and then you need to “train the kata” so one becomes a true master of the fighting style.

- The way of Willow’s Grace;
This style is one of the Clearer cut defensive Kata’s, based around dodges, parries and attacking only in reposts, attack power is limited in an attempt keep the body safe from harm. The attacks are primarily aimed at the leg tendons, the muscles right below the elbow joint, Noone of these wounds will prove fatal unless the target bleeds to death, but they will reduce the opponent ability to fight in an effective way, the leg muscles making you unable to stand while the blows to the arms sever the muscles which move the fingers making one unable to form seals.
Auto jitsu:
Grace-of-running water:

This jutsu allows one to move with dexterity that is even above the normal maximum of one of the Henkoshi, which makes dodging and parrying easier.

- The way of Breaking Waves;
This is one of the more offensive Kata’s, This Kata symbolizes the power of storm swept waves crashing into the beach. During this the user becomes a black mass of motion with the occasional blade sticking out, and even the fastest and most skill full of ninja will be hard pressed to defend against this onslaught. As such the sacrifice of the defensive capacities usually isn’t to big a price to pay as the opposition will be to busy defending to attack in a meaning full manner
Auto jutsu:
Clawstorm:

This jutsu makes the caster become a blur of motions while attacking with claws or other bladed weapons, such as a sword or Kunai.

- The way of Stone’s Resilience;
This kata would be classified as offensive by most people as it totally sacrifices defence in order to kill in one attack, This Kata works around the principle that if you were to NOT defend the body one could attack the enemy when his guard is down, and he has an opening in his defences. (NO MATTER HOW YOU ATTACK you always lower your abilities to defend yourself especially when the opponent does something weird (like not blocking))

This jutsu coats the weapons in a most vile toxin, which deals massive amounts of poison damage.

- The way of Prowling Wolves;
This is an odd one amongst the battle Kata’s as it doesn’t involve attack motions or even defensive ones, instead it works with Genjitsu in a most sneaky way. It convinces the opponent that he is surrounded by a massive force which is vastly superior to himself, he’d see movements, flashes of stuff at the corner of his eyes, drifts of a scent and voices.

This effect seems to have been described in the “general info bit” but it should be noted that being surrounded by enemies is an extremely unnerving experience that should be role played.

- The way of the Coiling Mists;
This style is a balance between defence and offence, while it uses a version of the bodily replacement technique to move around, (

The best way to avoid being hit is to not beeing there…
) and attacking at range with whatever weapons might be at hand, but this will most commonly be the Shuriken thrower.

Super bodily replacement technique

This technique allows the wearer to teleport for short distances(about 10 meters/33 feet max).

- The way of the Striking Tigers;
This style is a bit of an odd one as it officially doesn’t exist. When Henkoshi Ichigo had invented the style and perfected it and would show it to the clan’s elders he used it to such finesse that he cut up 4 joinin to the point of death, They saw this style as upsetting the balance the other Kata’s protected, as it is “a most inauspicious fusion of the Way’s of Breaking waves, Coiling mists, and Willow’s Grace”. This style combines the virtues of the styles, solid offence, rock solid defence with coiling mists manoeuvrability. This Kata is today forbidden and mostly unknown, but is still amongst the worlds most scary fighting styles. Another oddity this style is rumoured to posses is an uber attack known as -ten-thousand-striking-tigers but that is as off yet unsubstantiated, it is rumoured that if one in this style would suffer a great personal loss, the death of an ally or even ones own death, this attack would trigger but as Ichigo never reused his style that is all unsubstantiated…
Auto jitsu:
Rage-burning-within:

This jistu has effects comparable to opening the first 5 gates, it vastly increases speed, strength and charka stamina but without the deliberating side effects, instead as soon as the Kata ends the user falls into a deep slumber which no force short of death can awaken her fro the next 8 hours, needless to say this is a great finishing move but the downside is quite vast if the enemy had some kind of ace up it’s sleeve so you’d better be DAMN sure what your doing before doing it. However the style does tend to decimate anything it’s up against. (Movie reference: X-men 2 Nightcrawler versus the Secret service.)

Ten-thousand-striking-tigers
This jitsu has effects not quite unlike Tajuu-Kage-bunshin-no-jisu the twist being that instead of summoning dozens of clones it summons ten thousand giant cats, who are about as high in the shoulder as a human is standing. These cats will then proceed to RIP EVERYTHING to shreds, including the caster his team and anything else that is within reach of there -rather large- claws. When this effect triggers it is therefore advisable to be well clear of the immediate area, for if you aren’t your dead(no tricks no nothing torn apart by vicious ass cats, I don’t care what 1337 skills you have 10.000 tigers WILL tear you limb from limb)…

Persona;
Katara isn’t without a sense of pride, in her clan, in herself and in her skills, and on occasion people who have insulted either have been known to simply disappear, either to find mauled so they are just recognisable or to simply vanish never to be seen again, and of course even though some very stringent investigation by both police and possibly Anbu nothing was ever attributed to her.

5. Magic:

Katara has the basic skills one might expect a Joinin to have, walking up shear walls, water walk, bunshin (creates an illusionary clone), but oddly enough she has never been able to get the Henge technique “right”.

Bloodline:
The Henkoshi Clan is mainly one of extraordinary gardeners, which is in no small part thanks to there ability to bend plants to there will and make them grow at vastly increased speeds, a tree can grow from a seed to “ten years of age” in a single night at the hands of a skilled Kenoshi Shaper. (OOC and if like me you’ve wondered why there are still forests on Naruto’s home world, with all the forests being destroyed in the battles between shinobi u can guess once who is responsible…)

Vanish from the minds eye:
This technique makes the user appear invisible to those around him, although they can see him they’ll just ignore all traces of the user being there, although foot prints can still be followed as long as Katara passed there more then 15 minutes ago. Large crowds Katara wishes to move through will “open” to make way for her as people move aside without knowing why they are doing it. This technique while very useful works best on “uninitiated humans” (ie those with out jitsu’s) and costs a considerable amount of charka to control so Katara mainly uses it for infiltration and/or rapid exists.

Merge with the green life:
Katara can “fuse” with trees, grass basically all forms of plant life as long as they are alive, and exit somewhere else in the same tree, combined with her bloodlines’ dominion over plants this enables her to do some truly astonishing things, and cover vast distances quickly, Think what could happen if you were to fuse with a tree in the forest outside of Konoha and grow a root at vastly increased speeds into the town where you “hop roots” and continue to the inner sanctum of the Hokage.

Hug the tree:
This technique can only be used if “merged with the green life” when someone walks bast the tree or other thingy a skilled Henkosi is hiding in he can materialise an arm with the full benefits and grab the guy to crush his skull against the tree, or use his claws to cut open his neck from ear to ear. This technique is so fast and so silent people have looked the other way to find the rest of there patrol lying dead in pools of there own blood and when they bended over to check what had happened the last thing they ever saw was a claw grabbing them.

Earth Type - Inner Decapitation Technique:
The user hides underground and grabs the legs of their victim, then pulls them under leaving their head e ground and vulnerable to a more deadly attack.

Converse with the living wood:
The Henkoshi can converse with tree’s(or other living plant matter) to give them eyes in the land, and although the trees aren’t the best of scouts its really cool how easy it is to give a feudal lord a beautiful Bonsai and use it as a spy. The downside is that the trees aren’t the best of spies as said before and it usually takes them quiet a while to tell you what they heard, but the biggest disadvantage is that u must touch the tree u wish to talk to or be connected to it either through “root contact” or within say 30 feet of the tree in question.

Control the Demon wood:
The use of this Jitsu is to control the growth of the armour all members of the Henkoshi wear, so that the armour grows or alter shape in a way that is useful for the Henkoshi. This action is mostly subconscious from long exposure to the stuff. (When running about or fighting you don’t have to think constantly about your armour.

Summon the Forest’s Wrath:
This technique, while it takes a long time, is most useful in combat as it summons an identical copy of the wearer, although this one is made of wood and hair are leaves and the like, it is somewhat slower then the original and somewhat tougher, the main advantage is that the clone once it has been summoned can exist until the technique is ended and it can use most of the Jitsu’s the summoner can. The casting time is substantial and as a result it’s best to cast this before going into combat, as doing a technique who’s casting time is about a minute isn’t a good thing in low-war as the enemy will not wait.

Awaken the symbiant spirit:
By spending a small amount of charka, and a few drops of blood a skilled Henkoshi can “breathe life” into wooden objects and while it’s possible to make tables dance and the like it is more useful to do this sort of a thing on wooden statues of cats or bears. Once this technique is cast the summoner needs to worry about keeping it mobile though and although the drain o the charka of the owner isn’t really great it’s still enough to be calculated, say about 5% of the regenerating amount. I’m not sure f this breaches the rules for summoning but I doubt it as it’s more like a pet.

The objects created with this technique aren’t very good in combat as they are mostly small statues about the size of a housecat, but a Henkoshi who can’t work around that needs to be declared Ronin anyways. This technique is mostly used for guarding homes and sacred shrines of the Henkoshi, but some people have been known to take them as pets.

Restoring of Peace’s tranquillity
This jitsu is used mostly by Henkoshi covert teams who are operating behind enemy lines to “clean up” evidences of “wet jobs” (ie. Assassination) by merging the corpse with a tree, in exchange for storing the corpse (which decomposes within days) the tree gets the nourishment a the body provides, so there is usually some tree willing to go along with this.

Carves-through-flesh
After finishing the chain of seals the “caster” needs to stretch his arm forward Holding his fingers curled forward (OOC a bit like Gaara does before the Desert funeral) but instead of Crushing her hands closed the outline of a HUGE wolf head, the total wolf would be about the size of a tank only about twice as high, appears which rushes towards the enemy knocking over tree’s and being generally destructive of the terrain (as most attacks are), correcting a tad for any dodging attempts made, it can change direction up to 90 degrees, and when it connects it will crash its jaws shut crushing anything between its jaws, this attack can be used to batter down vault doors or decimate about half a dozen enemies at the same time. (head is about 15 foot long and about 8 feet high and wide)

Shuriken-storm:
This ability “duplicates” a shuriken into between 6 and 15 shurikens, that are all “real” and all do damage, but the damage of the individual shurikens is halved as a good deal of energy os drawn from them.

Blissfull Calm:
This Genjitsu attempts to lull the mind of the target into a deep state of tranquillity, making them less likely to scream and call for alarm, this effect only lasts for about 60-enemy intelligence seconds but that is all someone should need for dealing with a sentry. During this time the enemy will stare blankly ahead as if hypnotised, and take no action what so ever, except for breathing, over balanced enemies will NOT correct and the crash on the ground might alert others.

Silence of Death:
Some of the best Henkoshi claim never to have heard there victims beg for mercy and the screams of the dieing. This power creates a “magical” silence around the caster, from inside which no sound can emanate. Although sounds can enter the bubble no sounds will be formed within, most useful for silencing techniques which require yelling of there names like rasengan and some others, or for covering up the sounds of a “chidory” or a covert infiltration.

Cloud-of-Death:
The activation for this technique requires a number of seals and the positioning of one hand in front of the mouth, to form a tunnel through which one can exhale, if this is done the exhaled air will turn into a green cone of gas which reaches for about 5 feet and is about 3 feet in diameter at the cone end. The symptoms of this gas resemble Mustard Gas (see : this page. The second paragraph “Physiological effects” describes the effects rather well.)

Enshieved-in-Barbs
This technique alters the nature of the symbiotic intelligence which resides in the demon wood plate, making it from passive into an active weapon. The plate doesn’t change in appearance but that is deceiving, should one attempt to strike a blow on the user the plate will grow spikes at an alarming speed in an attempt to disable the hand.

Avert-Wooded-Doom
This technique which can only be used on a single wooden object at a time (which can however be the total arsenal of Katara due to them being “fused together”) will give the wood incredible resistance against fire, acid and cold, while the person inside may still be affected by the attacks of above stated types the toughness of the armour will provide a substantial amount of protection. (for example, should one launch a fireball at Katata, she would still be knocked over by the shockwave, but her armour wouldn’t catch fire and while the temperature might rise to sufficient heights do cause blisters and singe hair she will not suffer more adverse effects.

Visage-of-terror:
This ability is an odd one amongst the genjutsu Katara possesses, as it doesn’t tinker with the senses directly, instead it causes the armour to emit “waves” of what looks like a black liquid (flowing down her and from there on outwards for about 5 feet, or dripping to the floor and doing it from there should she be airborne) that tinker with the brain amplifying the fear on normally holds when in a fight to INSANE levels where most people would cuddle up and hope “the bad man” goes away or stick there tails between there legs and run. (of course this tecgnique has no effect on those who are immune to fear for some reason -apart from looking suitably impressive).

Toll-to-Charon
This is the ultimate tool of assassination tool of the ultimate clan of assassins, This technique summons two seemingly harmless copper coins(the Hunter that is the weapon end of this technique, and the Gatherer she hangs onto herself). When the hunter leaves her hand it “activates” and the next person to touch it will find her soul sucked out(YES that includes demons, angels and other things one would argue don’t have a soul.) into the coin and half the energy of that soul is transferred to Katara in the form of Chakra. People with really strong wills, or the ones that are devine in origin seem to be inpervios to the killing end of the technique but will still find a substancible amount of there mana (or what ever passes for that with the specific target).

Bloodline limit (kinda like a limit break only not)
Trancendance:
This ability is the “total expertion” of the abilities of a clans bloodline in this case the Henkoshi. It renders the user incorporeal which has the ability of making the user immune to non magical attacks but at the same time it makes it impossible to attack in the same way. Forcing the user to rely on ranged nin and genjutsu’s. This ability can only be used once per battle as after using this abilty the body “overloads” and falls in to a coma like sleep for the next 2 maybe 3 days.

2. Description:
Nova is a truly stunning beauty her green eyes and red-brown hair a near perfect shade of crimson and her eyes you could easily loose yourself in them forever. Her crimson hair falls down to her shoulders where it curls up (sort of like Tidus’ hair does). Framed in this hair is a face of stunning beauty that would make anyone’s hart beet faster the sheer perfection of the face is difficult to believe and the rest of her body is beyond contemplation so beautiful. She is usually seen wearing wide pants in the colour of her hair and a skin tight shirt in a shade of yellow that matches her pants (and thus her hair) very well. Although in some time settings the pants and shirt will change to a dress in the same shades.

3. History: (Okay I couldn’t do this any other way so I bring you the WoD technocrats)

Nova was born in a small town near Houston in 1984, Nova lived a pretty normal life, she had friends, lots of them male for obvious reasons, a truck load of boyfriends, a pretty normal life all in all, at least as far as a WoD life can be “Normal”. When Nova turned 16 she started having “weird incidents” computers would go hay wire around her, her hair drier blew up once, and stuff like that, little did Nova know that she was experiencing the first symbols of her awakening. She felt like a freak and although she was big and tough on the surface, she had some major problems deep down, and she was asked to go to the school shrink. This of course wasn’t good for her social life as it interfered with cheerleading practice. And she needed a good explanation of why she wasn’t showing up once a week, But in the end she was straightened out and he was convinced her “accidents” were nothing more then a streak of bad luck. And so life continued, Nova was surely but steadily learning to block them out when it would be awkward to have them, and so her little world kept spinning, she became involved with the school quarterback, with whom she had a relation for about a year and then on Christmas eve he called her and dumped her, her Christmas was ruined she spent the entire time locked up in her room crying herself to sleep. She though her life was over, but in the end she got over it and soon she was the hottest catch in school again, and everyone was milling around her as spring formal was coming up, one day she was sitting in the schools cafeteria and your arch typical nerd walked up to her, he had actually gotten a new haircut for the occasion and he had dressed quite stylishly. But as he walked up to her some freshmen was shining wit his laserpen around and when the nerd walked up to her the dot was right on his chest, and then he tripped tossing his lunch all over Nova, Nova could feel the build up she so dreaded and thought one of her “bad luck” moments was coming again but only much much more powerful and just as the nerd fell through the dot, a piece of his head disappeared, and then Nova’s head went light, and as she lifted her hand up to it, she could feel her hair falling out in clumps. As she dashed to the nearest exit, she could hear her name being yelled over the intercom by a very angry vice principal. As she made her way to the locker rooms, for the spare shirt the kept there. Luckily it matched her outfit, and she grabbed her mat she kept there for bad hair days, and with that she looked at herself in the mirror, she didn’t look to shabby. And so she went to the principal’s office and when she got there, she took a moment to breathe in and put on her sad&guilty face, and then she knocked and entered. She had never before been to the principal’s office and she found it to be a mainly functional place, with a large desk with the principal sitting behind it, and someone she didn’t know. As they were talking Nova, having been properly raised waited silently while they talked about stuff, she over heard something known as a “Cob” and she heard the name “dyson sphere” having an interest in space tech (carefully concealed from view) she knew a sphere was a star with a system of colonies around it, sometimes even a shell, but that was less practical, to maximise the amount of energy derived from it. And these guys were talking about it in the past tense but there weren’t any Dyson spheres in the galaxy… this was weird, Nova tried to listen in with out “actually listening in”. And then suddenly they were finished and the stranger was introduced as “Joe Johnston”. The stranger looked at her intensely, not really a stare and she wasn’t really being measured up, but it was something in between. Then suddenly the stranger spoke, “so tell me girl late at night when you’re lying in your bed looking up at the stars, you wonder what it’d be like to fly to them and explore them is that correct?”
“Yes it is sir how did you know?” Nova asked Mister Johnston.
“For I was like you once, I was in this room in very similar circumstances about 30 years ago, Wondering what was going to happen. And what I had done to that kid that was lying there in the arts and crafts room. Tell me, did you do it? And no lame excuses you know you did it, or you didn’t.”
“Sir, I think I did” Nova said, “but I have no idea what I did.”
“What you just went through is known as an Awakening, you’ve had that idea, to quote the matrix, and “You're here because you know something. What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire life, that there's something wrong with the world. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad” Well in this case that something isn’t the matrix it is the supernatural, WE have pulled the world over you eyes it blind the mortals from the truth, in our case there is a spoon and your not allowed to see it.”
“Are you trying to tell me I’m living in the fucking matrix???” Nova asked, “Okay where is that hidden camera?” Nova had always thought some stuff were just too weird to happen and when that happened most of the time you’d hear a “smile your on candid camera”, or something like that.
“Yes and No, we, mages, werewolves, vampires, and some others have blinded you from the truth, we are here and we are VERY real. But we don’t want the world to know we exist, as a vampire I once knew said “We don’t want you to know we are here, the same way the wolf doesn’t want the sheep to know he’s around. It makes our job so much easier”.
At this time Nova was really starting to look for a hidden camera.
“Now okay this as been funny where is that camera??” Nova asked.
“I can assure you Miss Carmine there is no hidden camera, and what I am telling you is quite real. Common girl we must leave now before some of those cops show up and drag you of for jail, and while the New World Order can cover this up getting you out of jail would prove more of a hassle then they think your worth.”
Nova not accustomed to going with strangers, was slightly put of by this man’s demeanour but she had a gut feeling she could trust him, and so she followed him to his car that waited out front, the man told the driver they were going to “the barn” at which point Nova wondered for a moment what she had gotten herself into now. And she and Mister Johnston talked for the duration of the trip, it was one of those talks in which you entire world falls apart, and you realise you have been thinking of the world in 2 dimensions, or in the case of the mortals 1, they wouldn’t know the truth if it bit them in the arse, everyday they see “unexplainable stuff” that would be very easily explained if they’d just think outside the box.

And then they arrived at a barn in the country side, where the car drove into an abandoned barn. Here the driver got out and closed the door and pushed a button near the door. At which point a puff of smoke was released, and the floor gently lowered it’s self to “the ground” of the station below this place. It was quite deep, a good 100 feet below the surface and Nova was wondering what kind of people would live in this sort of nuclear shelter. When they got to “ground level” the man greeted some people that appeared to be his friends, and he introduced “Miss Carmine, of who we can expect great things”. From here they went into a room where a computer terminal was located as well as something that looked like a Transporter room from star trek, Nova was instructed to get on the pad and So did Mister Johnston (who insisted she call him Joe) and a corny “energise” scene later they were on there way, Nova found herself in a room that looked a lot like the one she had just been in, but it was like she was looking though wrong prescription glasses. It was a bit foggy and there were strange ghost like things hanging around, they looked nice enough so Nova left them in peace. Then she noted what could only be described as a space ship. “Joe” was walking towards a “boarding plank” and he told Nova that she might want to get a move on, if she didn’t want to miss the ride anyways. Nova got on and was seated in a chair where she buckled up, when suddenly the bay’s doors opened to show a way that lead to a blank wall, but right now Nova wouldn’t be surprised if that wall was just an illusion or something. So she buckled up and made a point of not touching any buttons.
Joe: “this is your captain speaking and on behalf of my crew I’d like to wish you a pleasant stay on board the Jimmy Shroud, on a one way trip to the Copernicus research station, Alpha Centauri 2, our flight time will be 24 hours, please remain seated until we clear earth orbit and the fasten seatbelt sign has been turned of.” At which point he handed her a flask of whisky and a bag for throwing up in. “You will need the first, you might need the second but I don’t think you will… I have high hopes for you missy.” At which point Nova took a long gulp of the scotch and felt it burn a way down her throat. And then they were off, he was right you did need the scotch. And then they were in the earth orbit on the way to Alpha Centauri, where they’d continue her teachings. Nova proved to be a good student acing her tests and soon she was in command of her own AUC, and she has been exploring space ever sinse.

- Even though she can exist in all settings she is not immortal or anything… just so you know… Bullets will kill her, fire will burn her and explosives will blast her to bits.

- Her space ship: (Will not be used in RPB)
Her spaceship an AUC (or Armed Universal Cruisers) is strangely enough corvette sized. On the outside it looks like this: http://www.i-war2.com/images/navy_1st.jpg.
The ship is armed with 4 batteries of twin-linked AFC’s(Accelerated Force Cannon’s) your basic gigantic laser cannon and 2 batteries of 24 TAT’s(Targeted Anti-matter Torpedo’s)think the biggest, baddest missiles in history mostly used for shooting capital ships and the like could be used for sanitizing (read blowing up) worlds or sections of worlds. The ship is powered by two TPU’s (Tass-Powered Propulsion Units) which allow the ship to cruise along at faster then light speeds. Those engines run on Tass (“Mana” in its solid form) which is refined by the ship’s 2 huge STARs (Stellar Tass Augmentation Refinery) which harvest it from solar winds and other particles the ship may encounter. The STARs also power the iMPALA (Molecular Pigment Absorption Adapter) system, which is basically a cloaking device, and allows the ship to be in orbit without out being detected. For the rest it’s equipped with what most ships in star trek have, Holo Decks, transporters, replicators; the works.

Weaponry:

Nova has access to all weapons in al time zones, but a weapon a grade more advanced will count as doing paradox in the time setting.

- Mjollnir Mk.4
Nova’s back up weapon is the Mjollnir mark 4, it’s a gun A VERY BIG gun. Well a heavy pistol (think desert eagle.50) with the punch of a shotgun and the kick of a mule, when intimidation is the name of the game or the enemy just won’t stay down, you can count on Thor’s hammer to get the job done. Unless outfitted with a raptor silencer (it is…) the Mjollnir thunders like a mad god. Its heavy grain shells rip through solid concrete, and in flick horrific damage on living flesh (or unliving for that matter), In tecknoligical terms, Mjollnir uses Forces procedures to increase kinetic energy of the bullet. The gun chambers large custom made ammo (ECA) which aren’t magical (the guns had a tendency to blow up when that was tried). A mind trick adds to the guns fright factor(the wielder is REALLY REALLY SCARY). In the hands of the unenlightened, these guns tend to misfire or explode, although it is possible it will shoot once or twice.

- “Dark ages”:
A crossbow with a couple of trimmings, a small yet powerfull scope and some other minor trimmings like extended range, an ECA and a raptor silencer, in effect the bow has the range of a rifle is totally silent and does a tad more damage. The bow looks like this: exept for the clip(on top) and a small laser sight which is positioned underneath “the barrel”.

In times zones approaching the now she uses a Walter PA2000 (or for alien worlds something similar) with some technocracy trimmings, a part magical bipod totally stabilizing the barrel and preventing it from moving, a motion predicting scope (think the ones they use in Ghost in the Shell), A Raptor silencer, and the necessary ECA.

Types of ammo:
All “now” ammo and the following:
- Gauss: These rounds turn into plasma upon leaving the barrel and they accelerate to mutch higher speeds then the terminal velocity of other rounds making dodging these very difficult, pretty all-round ammo.
- Pulse ammo: (Everyone who knows FF8 knows this is the shit you want to look out for…) These rounds are partly magical in there construction and therefore cause major damage to everything, thing about detaching limbs and bursting chests with one bullet they go through everything and anything, they virtually ignore armour while still cause major damage to underlying tissue. In RPB Nova carries 5 of these rounds.
- Shock Shells: These rounds do a very substantial amount of Electricity damage to the people they hit, enough for a small E.M.P. field, which destroys most of the energy consuming technology they might have.
- Shield Breakers: These rounds were designed by the ships AI when Nova ran into a shielded life form, they have the potential to ignore shields (non magical ones that is) and disable them for the rest of the battle. Besides that effect they do no damage apart from the concussive impact.

“Sniperlingo”: Sniper rifle Accuracy
The most common way of describing the accuracy of the sniper rifle is to measure average diameter of the circle, that may be drawn arount the group of bullet holes in the target. Usually, the rifle is fired from the rest with groups of the 5 (or 3) rounds, and then every group is measured. Average group diameter is the most common criteria of rifle accuracy.
Today, the thin line between "good" and "poor" accuracy is usually laid in 1MOA group. 1 MOA (Minute Of Angle) is measure of the angle, that formed with the triangle with muzzle as the top and the group as the base. 1 MOA is roughly equivalent to 1 inch group diameter at 100 yards (91 meter), or to 2 inches at 200 yards etc. So, if you read that rifle XXXX shooths 1MOA groups, it means that at 300 yards this rifle could place 5 or so bullets in circle of no more than 3 inches in diameter. Many modern sniper rifles, when loaded with right ammunition, could shoot 0.5MOA, or even 0.3MOA, which mean 1 inch groups at 300 yards, or 2 inch (50 millimeters!) groups at 600 yards (550 meters).

- ECA: Endless Clip of Ammo, one of the Iteration X’s newest gizmo’s is a clip that actually fabricates the ammo you want, good for about 500 rounds before the Tass runs out and you need to recharge it with an APC.
- APC: Advance Power Cell, a device that stores Quintessence (Mana) in its “solid form” (Tass) for use in al most all devices Nova uses.
- Raptor silencer: this is a somewhat non standard silencer, instead of dampening the shot it transports the sound waves to a place where no one either hears or cares(in the WoD its usually the latter).
- “The bond watch”: This is the woman’s version of Bond’s famous watches, it comes with all the trimmings Q’s ever managed to cram in. If it’d be “Bondy” to have in the watch Nova Has it. It’s a pocket watch in the Dark Ages, an analogue wrist watch in the now, and a digital watch in the future.
- The “real” swiss army knife, this is the handle of a swiss army knife with a button attached, point it at the object and push the button and the cpu will scan the object and thick what you are most likely to want to do with the object and form the perfect tool for the job (do aim good for it might think your pointing at something else) Everything is in there from welding tools to a small sowing machine for fixing the button that fell from your shirt.
- “Set to guns to stun” hey its better to steal something good then to design something bad is what the Iteration X must have thought so they designed this device that takes the speed of the bullet and spreads it out over a bigger area, blasting you of your feet but with out any adverse side effects other then a bad whip lash and some bruises(all guns and projectiles feel about as bad as a paintball gun which hit your entire front//back at the same time).
- Univid, Universal ID, this little gizmo is the id for the job, everything from FBI badges to the proper id for that meeting with the crime boss this is it. (not entirely accurate without an example of what you want to make).
- Tricorder, this is your basic star trek tricorder, it even looks like it…
- Power Suit, This suit (all her clothes except for the night suit) can be “switched on” when that happens, the suit sends out an “inferiority wave” that makes the wearer look really important and imposing.

She also has a couple of gizmo’s on her that can prove useful in distress situations mostly a “walky talky” that can connect her to her ships computer (of course one with true A.I.), most other tools she can get the computer to assemble (or replicate for the trekkies) and beam down to her location.

5. Magic:

Nova is quite accomplished in Forces, Prime, Correspondence and a bit in Mind. On her ship she has a computer that can do some Dimensional Science.

Nova doesn’t use spells as such she combines the 3 above elements to form spells, Forces can for example be used to send electrical systems hay wire by creating and removing small currants, or it can be used to light fire by creating sparks it can also turn her invisible by “bending the light” around her. If you think this is un fair wait until you read the back lash these spells have, Correspondence is the art of employing magic at a distance she has a range of about 10 to 15 meters (30 to 45 feet) and lastly mind magic can be used to “read minds” and do similar tricks on people; Can also be used for telepathic communication.

“Nova’s Favourite procedures(spell list; including but not limited to)”:

Calculate Kinetics (correspondence 1)
Where is that object? How fast is it going? What way is it going? How long will it take to get there? And similar questions all answered in one stroke.

Laser enhancement (forces 2)
Turns a low power laser (like a laser sight or a laser tag rifle) into a laser powerful enough to cut through steel plates.

Laser Production (Forces 3)
This is an improved version of Laser enhancement it allows any artificial light source to produce a deadly laser beam, needs a lens of some sorts to focus the light though.

Detect mental anomalies, (Mind1)
Scans the mind of the target to see if the target is under influence by, disciplines, gifts or other forms of mind control.

Locate Quintessential flow, (Prime 1)
This allows Nova to see the local streams of quintessence that lead to a Node.

Tap Node, (Prime 3)
Allows Nova to extract Quintessence from a Node and store it in herself or another storage container.

Covert Node to Tass (Prime 3)
Allows Nova to turn the Quintessence in a node into Tass, for storage in APC’s or for use by her ship. This procedure it the one powering the STAR units.

The backlash known as paradox if someone sees Nova use magic for stuff that can’t happen (including but not limited to fireballs and the like) Paradox lashes in; the worse the violation the worse the backlash is. For example of Nova would fire her gun (the c-20a) in a fantasy setting she might do an “Anime + cute chick” style back flip, her hair might turn into feathers and/or something else. If the violation is bad enough she might die or get her memory erased.
Or just cause a cascade that eradicates the world she’s on…

On fantasy worlds Paradox is lessened but its still there.

2. Description:
Jean-Louis is you basic black French man, about the average height for a Frenchman, making him slightly short by most other standards, muscles clearly defined underneath the tight yellow t-shirts he wares, which makes the rest of him look even darker and contrasts nicely with his red (wide) pants and his denim jacket. This is all complimented by a pair of yellow skate shoes.

3. History:
Jean-Louis was born in a small village in Tunisia, His family was originally one of farmers but his father worked in the capital for a French import/export multinational. This meant they had it okay at home, they weren’t rich but they weren’t as poor as everyone else. One weekend when his father came home from the city he had good news, he had been short listed for a promotion that would vastly increase his pay, they’d need to move to Paris he wasn’t really keen on that this being the land his family had had for generations and all. Well the vote was just a tad short of unanimous with his mother being in favour of going to what she saw as the best city on the planet and with Jean-Louis thinking he would get decent schooling in France. And besides they already spoke the language so barring making a few new friends how hard could it be? So with his head held high they left Tunisia to brave the great unknowns of France’s capitol city of Paris. The company his father worked for had taken the liberty of renting an apartment in one of the “suburbs” of Paris (in Paris a suburb means lots of concrete towers and is more like a ghetto). At first when they got there they were ecstatic, it was Paris the bright beacon of light and civilisation. And there house, it was bigger then where hey had been living before and it had all these cool things they had only heard about, colour TV, internet, and a lot of the other perks of civilisation they hadn’t had in that small town in Tunisia.

After a few days of settling in and meeting the neighbours Jean-Louis had his first day of advanced schooling, he had always been a bright kid and his parents were confident he’d catch up the few years he had missed fast enough. He went there with his head held high, and was confident that it’d be cool. I mean everyone here did it, how hard could it be? That hope was securely smashed on his first day of schooling, he could do what was required of him when the teachers explained it to him but afterwards he couldn’t reproduce any of it for the assignments that had been set to him. The only thing he was any good at was PE; he passed the assignments that they had set him without so much as breaking a sweat and rose to the top of his class with ease. And so his days passed and he began dreading going to school more and more each day, and in the end he had taken to skipping certain lessons to not have to deal with everyone glaring at him like he was an idiot for not getting Physics or Math. One of those afternoons he was walking around the neighbourhood and he noticed a few guys who seemed to be running along the street, but rather then going around obstacles they would jump them, slide underneath them or do other things with them. He had never though about stuff like this as being possible, he ran over and asked them if he could join them for what they were doing looked like fun. They readily accepted him and with that notion they started off again and Jean-Louis noticed something else he hadn’t been expecting, he was having FUN it had been a long time since he had enjoyed himself as much as this at doing anything, After a while they found themselves in a park where they sat down and did the proper introductions, they were part of the “L’espace Libre” (Lit: the free space) which was a group of traceur, and after a bit more explaining he found out that the idea behind parkour was to cross any obstacles in the simplest and most efficient manner, for example Jumping over a fence is faster then going around it. So you jump over it, the whole idea being to not stand still and move in a fluent manner. By now it was getting dark and they decided to go for a quick bite to eat at a local McDo (as they shorten it in France IIRC) now that he had the basics down they were going to teach him something more fun. As they were running to the McDo they suddenly started mixing in Back flips and other displays of skill, at one point 2 members of “L’espace Libre” ran up a wall and kicked off at the same time to do 2 180 back flips over one another. This they explained during dinner was part of an offshoot of parkour called “FreeRunning” the basics were the same only Free Running had a lot more “showing off” involved then parkour. They got some dinner and then asked the boss of the McDo whom they obviously knew if they could use the roof exit. He obliged them and suddenly they were on a roof with a road on one side and 2 meter across allies on the other sides, Jean-Louis was getting kinda iffy about this idea, I mean it’s a 2 meter gap with a small wall around it to prevent people falling off, but they said it was cool. They took a running start and ran to the edge and jumped and did a standing front flip before landing on his still extended legs and quickly doing a roll forward before he got up and ran on. Jean-Louis had been told those rolls are to protect your knees and other joints from damage so that later in life they’d still be in good condition. Then suddenly 2 of the others ran up and jumped the gap landing a 360 front flip perfectly simultaneously. Then the other too from the crew were running towards the gap and yelling that he join them, he jumped the hole and soared through the air feeling like he was slightly downgrading the whole performance, by not doing something fancy but he wasn’t sure about his abilities and wanted first of all to know if he’d even make the other side. When he landed and did his roll on both sides next to him landed his partners who he had lost sight of during the jump, they were already up and running when he got out of his roll. And by the time he had reached the edge he was about 2 meters behind them and he noticed they were doing a sort of karate flying kick over the hole. He was confident this’d work, running up to the edge he jumped onto the small wall and kicked off, he soared through the air and he decided to grab the toes on his boots, the stunt worked the landing would have worked if he wasn’t about 2 feet short of the edge, HE WAS TWO FEET SHORT OF THE EDGE!! The thought struck him like a sledge hammer, and he grabbed the edge and while he had made it he didn’t have a very good hand hold, he quickly put the noses of his trainers against the edge and with a controlled application of force he was on the edge of the thing. Well for his first trick that had gone better then expected…

The rest of the crew had been watching him and when he got over it they all congratulated him on his effective save of his first trick, it did need work though half the fun of saving tricks was that no one must ever know it needed saving to begin with. However the blow from when the building had hit him was still hurting pretty badly and he wasn’t sure running further would be a good idea. They did agree with him and said that a bar the community used was just around the corner and they proposed to go there to get him fully installed as a member of L’espace Libre he liked the thought of a bar and it would allow him to see what the rest of this “community” looked like. If they were anything like this group he figured he’d just found a whole load of new friends.

He was right, the bar they were going to was a very relaxed space, people smoking and having a beer with each other in a very friendly and chilled out atmosphere. L’espace Libre seemed to be regulars here as people knew them and greeted them on first name basis and often by nickname. He was introduced as Jean-Louis, aka “Le Chat”. He immediately felt like he was being included into some kind of “brotherhood” and he knew he was home. School wasn’t where he belonged, he had known that for a long time now but he hadn’t known where he did belong. He was treated as an equal here rather then an inferior. This is what changed his life, he moved out of his parents house, dropped out of school and got a job at a skaters Italian restaurant where he worked his way up to chef. And all in all he worked on his Free Running and all know that if it would ever be made an Olympic sport he;d be the for most in the French team.

Weapons: Jean-Louis has taken up Capoeira to keep his muscles strong and flexible and is becoming quite good at it, even incorporating it into his free running style. Capoeira is a martial art originally designed by slaves to fight against there captors and in order to be able to practice it without “undo attention” it looks a lot like dancing. He incorporates the area he’s in a lot more then standard Capoeira though and will often jump against a wall to gain some momentum before kicking.

Fighting style: Jean-Louis isn’t much of a fighter and prefers to run from his enemies then to engage them in combat. Not that he cant fight its just that he prefers not to explain the injuries to the police…

Persona: Jean-Louis is a relatively laid back man, who doesn’t care much about anything, he enjoys cooking and showing off to women although he doesn’t do it as overtly as some other blokes…

Other assorted skills:

- Cooking; Jean-Louis works as a chef in an Italian restaurant and has a lot of skills in cooking assorted foodstuffs.
- Ambidextrous; Jean-Louis is completely ambidextrous which has advantages in certain situations, for example when one hand is tied or broken
- Underground network; Jean-Louis has a lot of friends that owe him favours.
- English: Jean-Louis is fluent in English which for a Frenchman is a skill worth mentioning.
- Cat like Balance: Le Chat got his nickname somewhere:P
- General Good shape: Jean-Louis is in a very good shape for a normal man and can run for flat out for 8 miles, 5 if he has to do it free running style and he can do back flips from stand, as well as cartwheels, and pretty much all other forms of acrobatic tricks…
