Yugoslavia - September 22, 2007 05:39 PM (GMT)
1950 USD $0.12 = 2006 USD $1

That is what I found from wikipedia. Is this what everyone else has been using?

Yugoslavia, yeah, when the housing market imploded I was rooting for another great depression so that capitalism would crumble. Does this make me a bad person?

Australia, in game it's 1950, so that's the exchange rate if you want to buy something in game.

Please, please tell me the two of you aren't serious.

France - September 24, 2007 10:33 PM (GMT)
Of course they're not serious; nobody would actually choose to live in poverty and oppression.

Of course not, capitalism forces this lifestyle upon the majority of the world's population.

France - September 24, 2007 11:38 PM (GMT)
Eh? I think you've got that backward, mate; the shittiest parts of this world are generally the least capitalist.

Italy - September 24, 2007 11:44 PM (GMT)
The shittiest parts of this world are those affected most brutally by capitalism.

United States - September 24, 2007 11:53 PM (GMT)
Look, we could trade one sentence posts until some philosopher discovers a better system than capitalism or communism, but there's no way we're going to change each other's minds. So how about we shut up about it before I have a coronary after reading someone's multi-page manifesto on why their system is better?

Edit: I'm nuking the first person who posts a multi-page manifesto, just warning y'all.

bad person = hitler =/= country (Egypt)

The logic of comparing a bad person to a country makes as much sense as workers not owning the means in which they produce.

And to prevent the CIA spies from highjacking my "monies" thread I'm gonna have to bump my old commie v. cappie thread. joy!
