- Despite growing up in what might seem like the worst conditions possible, Zach has managed to stay rather kind and perhaps a little too forgiving. However, he has a short temper and a quick tongue, though somehow he does have extraordinary anger management prowess. He is a bit withdrawn sometimes, and he does not hate Team Rocket, contrary to what many think of them. In fact, Zach loves both his father for everything he's done for him, and the Rockets for giving them both a new home and him the chance to become a Pokemon trainer at last.

History

Zach was born to a high-ranking member of Team Rocket and a young trainer with powerful Pokemon inherited from her parents. His mother, the trainer, ran off as soon as she could, leaving the helpless baby alone with his father, who was rarely around. Just hours later, his father found out, and began to pursue her on his Pidgeot. He quickly caught up, and a fierce Pokemon battle unfolded, eventually resulting in the death of his mother and several serious injuries to his father.

Several years passed, and most injuries healed – soon enough, Zach's father was once again forced to leave his son, now a toddler, behind as he went off to continue working for Team Rocket. However, a variety of maids and butlers did take very good care of Zach, even when Radieschen Manor underwent a two-month siege from anti-Rocket trainers.

His father knew, after the siege had ended, that they needed to flee the Johto region. And what better place to start a new life than the Kanto region, where Team Rocket would offer him an even better position, a new home, and even permission for Zach to eventually become a trainer?

At fourteen years of age, Zach and his father arrived in Pallet Town, in the southwest Kanto region. For three years, Zach attended school and lived in a three-story home just outside of the Town, tucked away behind the trees. But then, he turned seventeen, and his father got a phone call from his superiors in Team Rocket. “It's time,” they said. And it was time; time for Zach to become a Pokemon trainer.
