The Seivaa Region, a prosperous location whose economy relies on tourism, but mostly the constant presence of Pokemon Trainers. Though a conflict has begin to erupt between a company and an underground force. As trainers, you may in fact come across these two conflicting forces. Whether you join their causes or resolve both is your choice dear trainer... Side: The Inter-Region Unity Corporation The Inter-Region Unity Corporation or TIRUC as it is most commonly called, is a company founded five years ago by a young man named Felix. Though Felix as well as TIRUC's activities have been quiet and virtually untraceable. The corporation has always gone by their motto of "Building a better future, around the world!" Their buildings can be found all over Seivaa. Though for a more in-depth explanation, it would be better for you to hear it from the man himself. \A suited man walks through the streets of town, his eyes scanning what seems to be a portfolio. His path crossing yours, the man trips, his papers scattering away. "Oh crap! Err, sorry about that." he says picking up his papers and putting them back into his folder. He stands back up, a prideful look on his face as he put the papers under his arm. "Sorry about that, I was on my way to a meeting and guess my work took over my attention." the man put out his hand. "The name's Felix, a pleasure meeting you." he introduced himself. "I'm the founder and CEO of The Inter-Region Unity Corporation. A mouthful I know but we don't need a catchy name to enjoy our jobs. Everyday we proudly work harder at attaining our goal of a unified world. Can you imagine such a thing? A world where each political power is working together, a world without economic depression, war, or even world hunger. All of the world's problems solved by putting it under one government." he went on. "One ruler." he muttered silently. "That's what my company is working for. we've already made so many advances. We're even beginning to set our first plans into motion. Isn't that great!?" the man questioned excitedly. A ringing echoed from the man. "Oh, excuse me." the man quickly flipped out his futuristic phone. Putting the device to his ear. "Hello...They what!" a dark, angered, one could even say demonic appearance grew on the man's face. His fist clenched and teeth gritting against each other. "Those damn resistance bastard!" he yelled. Ending the conversation and pocketing the device. "sorry you had to hear that. See, there's this group of people that have been plotting against us. They've been calling themselves, "The Draem Resistance. They think that my company is evil. I mean really TIRUC? EVIL?!" he yelled that same dark and angry expression on his face. "Your a trainer, right? Well if you are ever in any need of a job, come back to see me. I could use a hand in getting rid of some Resistance Rats. Oh yeah, if you meet a girl named Mitsuki. Ask her if we are still on for dinner." His expression changed back to the prideful and carefree persona he wore before as he walked off. There was certainly something off about that man. Through the whole conversation with Felix it seemed the man had some sort of ulterior motives. Though the most frightening thing about him was his ability to quickly change his personality. It would be best to steer clear of him. Although unifying the world would be a good thing...wouldn't it?

Side: The Draem Resistance The Draem Resistance, called "The Resistance" by most, is a more covert organization the has declared its primary purpose to be the halt of the Inter-Region Unity Corporation, claiming that the company is not what it claims to be. It doesn't act through large company buildings, but through more covert establishments where they can meet without being detected. However, just because they operate in secret, does not mean that they are no less powerful than TIRUC. A woman dressed in a business suit rapidly approaches you from an alleyway. As the two of you pass each other by, she roughly bumps against you and several packets of paper drop from her purse. She lets out an audible cry of frustration. "Watch it!" she snaps, bending over to gather her scatted papers. "Just brilliant, I don't have any time to waste on this! The Inter-Region Unity Corporation is trying to take over the world and I'm stuck here, thanks to you!" She gathers up the last of her papers and gives you an impudent look. "My name is Mitsuko and If you want to do anything important with your life, you should join the Draem Resistance. They're the only ones trying to stop TIRUC from getting what they want. They put up this guise of being a nice company, but don't be fooled. When it comes down to it, they just want to further themselves. They need to be stopped, whatever it takes..." She trailed off with a bitter edge to her last statement, leaving it unclear as to just what extremes she may have been talking about. "In any case, don't even think about trying to betray the resistance if you do join. We don't take traitors lightly." She finished sorting the papers within her purse and proceeded to walk hurriedly in the direction you came form. She called to you as she walked away, "Want to protect our world, Join the Draem Resistance!" During your encounter with Mitsuko, you could tell that she was a very abrasive individual and slightly unstable. She also seemed to think that the Draem Resistance needed to prevail over the Inter-Region Unity Corporation, no matter what price needed to be paid. However, if what she said was true, surely trying to stop TIRUC from taking over the world is necessary, isn't it?

Ahem, well then this is Seta once more with a post regarding our plot and how it will work on PD. To make this a lot easier and organized I am going to separate it into multiple parts. Well then, lets get to it.
Part 1: TIRUC and Dark Force To make matters worse for the Draem Region, it would seem that he has got his hands on an extremely powerful element. It is extremely rare and only seen in the darkest of pokemon, but mainly in the resident of the Distortion World, Giratina. This element, is called Dark Force. It has the power to corrupt the minds of humans, give them enhanced strength, and speed, and if used enough develop an addiction. By then, there is no return. The person’s body has become corrupted, their mind gone like that of a mindless brute. The effects on pokemon are much different; they get an increase in power double the effects of items such as Rare Candy. Though it still has its side effects, they will become more evil and dark the more it is used. If used enough said pokemon will enter a ‘Devil’ form, a being of unspeakable power thankfully, these pokemon cannot exist without extremely large doses of Dark Force, as only one dose can be used every two days. Dark Force Guidelines Dark Force Dose (Small) can only be found on TIRUC members (Human. Not an NPC) under the effects of Dark Force, though it is unlikely. (5% chance) An amount large enough to assume the Devil form must go through these steps 1: You must find and defeat the 3 admins scattered throughout the region. 2: You must defeat the Co-Owner of Tiruc, and obtain the Card Key to enter the TIRUC headquarters 3: You must defeat TIRUC Owner Felix These steps significantly increase in difficulty so one must be prepared and skilled to attempt this.
2. The Resistance and Light Force It seems the Resistance has gotten their hands on the parallel of Dark Force, Light Force. An element that is as rare as Dark Force but found in the real world, mostly in the dragon pokemon known as Rayquaza. A pokemon whose duty is to calm the pokemon of the sea, Kyogre , and the pokemon of the continent, Groudon, whenever the two awoke and started their conflict. Rayquaza, the pokemon who stays in the skies, has been brought down and captured, to be used by the Resistance to use the powerful Light Force that courses through its body, though Light Force is more just than Dark Force doesn’t make it safer for humans or Pokemon. It’s effects on humans is still as deadly as Dark Force, causing addiction and corrupting the person’s body. It’s effects on pokemon are still the same as well, but if pokemon are given a large enough dose at once they will assume a powerful state dubbed ‘Angel form’ When a pokemon enters this state they will attack their trainer just a s a Devil pokemon would. They are just as dangerous and deadly. Light Force Guidelines Light Force Dose (Small) can only be found on Resistance members (Human. Not an NPC) under the effects of Light Force, though it is unlikely. (5% chance) An amount large enough to assume the Angel form must go through these steps 1: You must find and defeat the 3 admins scattered throughout the region. 2: You must defeat the Co-Owner of the Resistance, and obtain the password to enter the Resistance headquarters 3: You must defeat Resistance Owner Mitsuko These steps significantly increase in difficulty so one must be prepared and skilled to attempt this. 3. Joining TIRUC/ Resistance We will allow a character to join whichever side they want. When you join a side you will be able to do missions to earn rewards and other perks as you rise through the ranks of the individual side. Just know one character can only be a part of one side. Your character may be forced to use Dark/Light Force. When under this state for every trainer (Human. Not an NPC) you battle and win against your pokemon’s experience is doubled. Just be sure not to take so many of these missions. Else your character may be corrupted and meet an untimely demise…
PS: If a trainer decides to hunt for an admin, co-owner, or owner, be sure to place a tag in your thread saying so. Ex: Admin Hunt: -title here- (Note: This is mainly for the staff but I want the players to know what is in store for the site. So don't go worrying your pretty little heads, kay? ;D Your characters are not forced to do anything.) If you have any questions don't be afraid to talk to me.
