Post your Pokemon, their levels, stats, attacks, personalities, and whatever you feel is important. I'll filter out the weaklings and help you build a star team!!

Well, the other two moves are your choice but give it Toxic and Leech Seed. It's a combo not mentioned in the game but it works great. As Toxic does more damage, Leech Seed will suck more life. Protect would be good if you want to rely solely on this combo. Crunch works well cause against human opponents, Psychics will commonly be used as most Legendaries are Psychic. Double Team works well with the Toxic/Leech Seed combo too. Focus Punch is a waste unless you can get it with Spore (Need codes for this) Earthquake isn't needed here even though it covers it's Fire weakness. Earthquake won't help much cause Sceptile's SA is the real focus, not A and a good Fire pokemon will drop it in one hit. Iron Tail is useless too cause not many worrisome Pokemon have a Steel weakness. And sorry but, even though it has nice Speed, I wouldn't recommend any Grass types. They have a weakness to 2 of the main types. (Main types are Water, Fire, Electric, Grass, Psychic, and Ice. I find these moves most commomly used.) I recommend Pokemon that don't posses weakness to the main types or only one of them at least.

meh,I have a different moveset seeing as Sceptile best stat is speed and sp attack let's get some of them and Toxic leech seed combo is not good on it maybe Venusaur but not sceptile

Dragon Claw
Leaf Blade
Earthquake
Crunch

Those three special moves are for it;s stat which is good and earthquake is for the fire types....

I don't use Grass types much so I can't offer advice on them to well. I just don't recommend using them. They are too easy to take out. It's important to consider the main type factor. In AI battles, that moveset would rock! But against human players, you'd get whooped with a moveset like that. I may have done only 5 battles, but I've done my homework and have seen just how well each Pokemon does. Plus, their movesets are limited and if it's One-Hit powerhouses you're after, Sceptile is not one... The fact is, you can't tell how bad a Pokemon is till you start getting it whooped by other people...

You do know Sceptile is not a pushover when it comes to special attacks right It can take out many types just like Blaziken can cause of it's stats but meh, yeah I don't train grass types better....

199.PNG 198.PNG

The right moves depend on it's stats and it's level. For instance a Treecko 277_0_0.png will soon evolve into a much more speedier character than any of his other stats. But a Torchic 280_0_0.png will soon evolve into a pokemon with great power. But on the other hand Mudkip 283_0_0.png is very close to being well-balanced except for the fact that his defense is better than his other stats as he evolves. So the perfect moves for your pokemon depends on who you choose and it's level.
