Here are the rules/guidelines of Pet-O-Nomics and they must be followed with NO exceptions made whatsoever:

- Be nice and respectful to the other members which means, no arguing/bashing. You may slightly debate in a topic, but please don't argue with the other member.

- This is a site about homeless animals so don't talk about breeding your pets because we're totally against that. Please spay/neuter your pets!

- Everyone is entitled to their own opinions so you can either agree or agree to disagree.

- No profanity.

- No spamming. Don't join this forum just to advertise your own website. If you have your own site and want to advertise it on here, please send me a private message before you post anything.

- If you need to edit your post, click the edit button located at the upper right hand corner of your post. Please don't make a post right after the other just to increase your post count because that is also called spamming if you make like 5 posts in a row(1 or 2 is fine, but please don't make it a habit).

- Don't post graphic pictures. If it's animal related, please make a note in your post saying that the pictures are graphic.

- Please keep your signature pictures to a limit of 600x500 and other pictures at 640x480 because not everyone has high speed internet or big computer screens. Big signatures will slow down a person's page when it loads and it may also off-set the display image on their screen.

- Don't hotlink pictures if you don't have permission from the website that you're copying a picture from. Upload them onto your own image hosting account such as Photobucket. You can link pictures from Petfinder.com, only if you provide a link back to that certain pet's page that you're linking from.

- If you join, please at least introduce yourself. We like people who contribute!

- Please, no crossposting messages and/or pictures without our permission.

-You shall NOT use any member's pictures that they posted without their explicit permission.

- Please do not bring drama from other messageboards here, or bring up posts or members from other boards.

Most of us here on PON like to joke around so please don't take what we say too seriously because we do not want to offend nor hurt anyone's feelings. A lot of the stuff said on here is strictly to make people laugh. We're a pretty tight group and welcome all new members.

All of the rules listed in this thread also apply to the private messages, e-mails sent through this messageboard, and signatures. I'll add more rules when they're needed. Thanks for supporting Pet-O-Nomics! Have fun and happy posting! :whahaha:
