General Rules

1. Please be respectful to all members of the forum. This includes the C-box, anyone found being rude with be beaten severely.

2. This game is based on Anne MacCaffrey’s ‘Pern’ books. We are a non canon game, but respect the books and the world she has created.

3. Please do not use names from the books. This includes people, dragons and pets.

4. All members who have candidates must play them before a hatching. Admin reserve the right to refuse to impress if a candidate has not been active enough or they suspect the player might disappear after the hatching.

5. All members have the chance to impress one of the Queens in this game. This is a game where everyone is equal, babies will be impressed to a candidate purely on personality.

6. Fire lizards are quite rare, but there will be a few allowed to be brought in. There will be frequent flit hatchings.

Posting Rules

1. We do not have any post length requirements but we do ask that you post more than a couple of sentences. Sometimes it is impossible to write a long post, but if you can then that is so much better to work with. Please make sure you check all spelling and grammar.

2. Please try to post your characters at least once a week.

3. Remember if you want to swear, Pern has their own swear words.

4. It is up to members to find people to write with. There is a thread request section, please use it to find writing partners.

Character Rules

1. Each member can have 7 characters. After that bribery is encouraged.

2. All characters must be submitted for approval before they are Rped.

3. Please do not take on too many characters.

4. If you are making a candidate please remember that Dragons are made purely with the personality of the character. Because of this we require the personality is the most indepth area of your character profile.

5. Please do NOT pester the admin about dragon colors or what you THINK you should get. If anyone is found doing this they will be excluded from the hatching.

6. If you have any questions at all regarding anything at all please don’t hesitate to drop me a line.

7. Remember all admins give their time to make this site a good place for you. Please show them your respect and gratitude.
