Description: Another One!

Burger Stack on the East Main Street was the food source of many drunks and Nightclub regects who had the hampering for fried food. The place was really hot inside, and the people behind the counter looked ready to melt...

Dutch entered from East Main Street
He had forgotten how hot it could get inside and, after stepping through the door, Dutch's hand went to his forehead. Sure it was probably present earlier from the bit of manual labor he had to take care of at the club but, if it was, it became noticed for the first time. He took a glance around to see how busy it was and if he'd have to queue up or if he could just step right up to the counter and place his order immediately.

The club was mainly empty, with a few people sitting down eating their meals and another guy chatting up the female waitress. There was one counter open for Dutch though; manned by a little CATS kid...

Dutch made his way to the counter and looked over the menu one last time. He already knew what he wanted; it's just that there was the usual 'welcome to blah, can I take your order' spiel that they usually blurted out before you could tell them what you wanted.

"Hello! May I take your order?"
The CATS-kid said happily...

"Yeah," Dutch began, toning down his deep voice, "I'd like the Big Burger Stacker combo, with a Coke." He reached into his jacket for his wallet as he waited to hear the total.

"Do you want to supersize that for an extra $1?"
Red - August 22, 2007 05:12 PM (GMT)
"Yeah" was the reply as Dutch began to sift through his wallet. It probably wasn't the best, sustaining yourself primarily on fast food, but he tried to keep to a simple life. He didn't go out of his way to spend the money, preferring to save the cash from the long work days and, eventually, pull out of Nixonbank with enough to set himself up proper down the road.

After a while, the kid popped a bag and a very large cup of soda on the counter,

Dutch pulled out the appropriate bills, set it on the counter and slid it over to the kid. He remembered when you could get something like this for ten dollars back in the day, when he was younger. And they wonder why no one can afford a house in this town. He gave the counter attendant a nod and picked up the bag and the drink, and turned to head back out onto the street.
