Little Havanna was a name given to the Cuban themed Nightclub that joined the ranks of the many on East Main Street. Inside, Little Havanna had a bar stocked with Cuban import Alcohol and many Cuban bar staff. This place was also a frount used by the Family...

Thomas headed straight for the bar, after all, everyone looked better after a couple of drinks, not to mention the fact that Thomas lost all signs of shyness after some alchohol had entered his body.
"Hey, mate! What've you got for me today? Something Cuban wouldn't be bad, right? So what can you recommend me?" Thomas asked one of the bar staff cheerily, looking over the club to see if there was anything interesting happening...

Around the club, people were dancing, people were talking and couples were kissing. Thomas also spotted a few CATS-kids on the dancefloor too, dancing as best they could,

"We have import beer, wines, tequilla, local brandy and rum made in Havanna Sir" The bartender said...

"I'll have the rum, then! How much'll it be?" Thomas got out his wallet and took a 5$ note out of it, before putting it back into his back pocket... Thomas hadn't even noticed the music yet, but it didn't seem like some heavy, heardcore dance music. Thomas appreciated that

The music was a fast-paced song sung in cuban,

"The rum? Double, single or triple?"

Thomas smiled at the music, nothing like songs in other languages to confuse people. He remembered being told about a song with some confusion about whether the guy was singing about a boat or a bot. That must've beeen a good opportunity to confuse some 17-year old girls...
"Double's good..."[I] he replied, somewhat absentmindedly "Hey... You know where the DJ is? Can't see him..." Thomas looked over the club to see someone interesting looking who wasn't taken...

"We have a machine instead of a DJ" The bartender replied, placing Thomas' rum on the counter, "And that'll be $6 please"

There was only a single lone Sasahara that didn't look taken, sitting down and nursing her alcopop...

"Oh... Okay! Can you make requests?" Thomas put the five dollar note onto the table and got another one out of the loose change in his pockets, giving the both to the bartender, then took his rum and took a drink from it. "This stuff sure is strong..." he thought to himself and decided to go over to the Sasaharan, as she might be taken in a few seconds from now... "Hey! Mind if I join you?"

Thomas has lost $6

"Oh huh?" The girl asked, "What?"

She was quite attractive, with a small nose, large eyes and thin eyebrows, the matching colour to her short black hair that was neatly held back by a headband. She also had black feline ears, large whiskers that curled at the ends and blue slitted eyes. She was wearing a red Halterneck top, with a pair of denim shorts, black booots and many bangles on her arms...

Thomas smiled and replied: "Well, I asked if I could join you? I'm Thomas, by the way, and I prefer not to be the lonely, mysterious figure in the bar!" Thomas grinned slightly, perhaps somewhat nervously

"Thanks!" Universe 0 - Thomas 1! Things were, for once, going Thomas's way with the ladies. He sat down and smiled at the girl, now he just had to figure out what to break the ice with (not literally, of course, as it would have been a much easier choice)...
He took a drink of his rum to save him some time. You could probably light a fire with that stuff, but yet it tasted nothing like alchohol. Oh, how he enjoyed rum!

"Aaaaanyway! As said, I'm Thomas, I work at the auditorium and I think that I'm gonna have a nervous breakdown if I don't figure out what to say!" Thomas grinned nervously. That was a pretty good save from a old, boring line...

What the heck is up with that music?" for all Thomas knew, the Cuban guy singing could be singing about his favourite brand of cigars was put out of production by pirates, but he sure as hell did it fast, and it didn't exactly improve the quality of the music... Thomas smiled and realised that this was going nowhere. He'd have to pull something, and fast, if he wanted to actually talk and not sit around like some cow just waiting for be slaughtered...
"Well, Tanya. What do you for a living?"

"I'm a welder, freelance at the moment..."

If he could keep this up, he might have some okay chances... But where were his witty remarks? He always used to have at least ten at his disposal...
Since the sudden immigration of Americans, Thomas had been hard pressed to find anyone who didn't make a storm in a teacup about anything... Also, Thomas didn't exactly mind it when girls didn't cry over Extreme Home Makeover

I did try out a compressed air stapler once, though. That was a laugh!" Thomas smiled and added; "Plus, if you enjoy what you're doing for a living, you can't really be much more lucky..."

And this was Thomas's sure shot to tell her about the fact that he played guitar. It usually worked, and Thomas hoped that it wouldn't be an exception. "Sound technician down at the auditorium, not the most exciting job, but you get to catch a glimpse of the artists up close, sometimes!" Thomas paused and smiled, then added "Of course, the big dream is to be playing up there at some point in time!"

"Oh so your a hopeful muscian? Sounds good!"

Thomas smiled "Yeah, I've been playing the guitar since I was like... Eleven? Anyway, I really love playing and it'd be great to do it for a living, you know?" Thomas had finished his rum, which had been suprisingly good, and felt a slight bit effected by the alchohol, but definitely not enough to go around proclaiming that he's the king of Ikea and anyone who defiles his rule will be punished...
"I'm kind of without a band at the moment, though! Not many people can afford guitars nowadays, and Nixonbank's mostly nightclubs, which is really a shame..."

"Well you know what they say, you'll have to make your own path! There are tonnes of old nightclubs around here, you should buy one and turn it into a guitar club or something, maybe even a place for gigs!"

"I've had the thought in my mind quite a few times. Really, it's a good idea, and I'd probably have the time for it, but I'm just not interested in making such a big commitment right now, you know? I've got two girls back at my apartment that I fled to Mexico with, which... Well, you know. They need some support sometimes... I have to spend some time back there, they're both kind of out of friends, sadly. Lost contact with everyone and everything back home after everything went to the dogs..."

"I don't know, honestly... It's a really long and complicated story. But I was sent to St. Christopher's when I was young and I think that you can guess what happened... Also, that's where I know the two girls that live in my apartment from, too. I'm not sure if you heard the story of the place? I didn't really have a TV around that time, so..."

"Oh you were in the Greymouth Incedant? Yeah I heard about that on TV, place where they made the serums right?"

"That's what they call it? I haven't heard it mentioned yet, but I don't really watch T.V. either! But yeah, it was some real messy business, but it did bring me to Nixonbank, and a chance to be independent, so in some twisted way I like it... I got to get up close and personal with one of the goverment henchmen, which beat the living daylight out of me.
Also, I saved Elizabeth, that's one of the girls, from some cage... Apparently they were gonna test serums on her. She was the only one alive in that room and was surrounded by infected in the other cages... I talked to the head researcher and found out a bit about the whole thing, odd fellow. I talked him into letting me have one of his thousand cats as a souveneir... The thought of all those poor cats dying in there really got to me, and I felt that I needed to take one with me. It still lives at home with me." Thomas sighed and gave a small smile, rubbing his forehead whilst glancing towards the bar.

"It's still kind of haunting, though. You still get nightmares about it... I guess it's kind of like being a war veteran. I've certainly gotten a bit more respect for those guys, though!

But enough about me, what're your dreams?"

"My dreams? I dunno, maybe to start a company? Rake in some more money and afford an Apartment, meet someone, have kids..."

"You really should start saving for an apartment... It's a big change from most makeshift homes in the slums. It's such a shame that all those people are living in the slums. They should start building some affordable apartments..." Thomas shook his head and leant back into the chair, pausing for a second before adding "I guess that I'm just wanting a quiet life after all this shite that's been going on recently. But at the same time, you've gotta enjoy life while you've still got it, right?"

"I guess, but Apartments are Really expensive. I could save for a year and wouldn't even be able to afford one of the smaller ones!"

That'd just be a too obvious pick up line, though. "Ever been in one of the apartments? It's really nice up there, everyone's really kind. At least on the floor where I live!" Thomas nodded, then, before she could shun for trying to make a not-so-subtle attempt at getting her into bed (which wasn't his intention, not with this line, at least), he interjected her
"Oh, and... This is not some cheap attempt to get you back to my apartment, I like to tell myself that I can do better than that!" Thomas grinned and locked to her alcopop... Had she finished it yet?

"Erm, I'd love to come! Erm, see the Apartment! Yeah..."
