Description: News on CEO Tyler Extasis and more

Caelestius - January 5, 2011 03:13 AM (GMT)
Ascension (CCN) - CEO Tyler Extasis condemned the recent World Assembly proposal "Extinction Preparation Act." The resolution calls for storing seeds and cells of living organisms in an arctic vault.

"The notion that thousands of nations from diverse regions across space and time should store their seeds all in one lonely vault is quite absurd. If such mass-extinction does occur, would it not be convenient that all remaining life be solely in the WA's greedy hands? The only thing I wish extinct is both the World Assembly and it's ridiculous resolution." the CEO commented today in a press conference.

As of now, votes are relatively level:
Votes For: 2,650
Votes Against: 2,506

In other news, CEO Extasis has cut taxes again...

CAELESTIUS (AP) - Looks like the World Assembly is at it again with the "Elections and Assistance Act". The resolution calls for the establishment of the OEA (Organization for Electoral Assistance), a body to assist "transitioning nations," from one form of government to another.

"Blatantly authoritarian" comments CEO Tyler Extasis in a interview this morning. He goes on to state, "This is yet another sad attempt by them (the WA) to expand their power into sovereign nations, like a parasite expanding into it's host". Many support the strong language used, condemning and rejecting the current resolution.

ASCENSION (AP) - CEO Tyler Extasis strongly opposed the current WA resolution "Military Freedom Act", claiming it would strip sovereign freedoms each nation is entitled too. At a press conference he said, "This is another attempt (by WA) to consolidate control of free nations into their grip. The lust for power knows no bounds by this oppressive organization that will stop at nothing to pass autocratic resolutions."

Many in Caelestius agree with his viewpoints as polls show a startling 87% approval rating, unprecedented in the nations entire history. So far CEO Extasis has kept his promise to cut the once bloated tax rate. As of last month, they have dropped to a record 3.5%. He has proven to be the most loved and charismatic leader Caelestius has had in recent history.

ASCENSION (AP) - CEO Tyler Extasis announced the complete elimination of income tax in Caelestius today, speaking at a National Press Conference:

"In an age when nations are facing crippling deficits, large government expenditures and extreme debt, I am proud to announce that my dream of reducing the tax level to Zero has finally been realized. All my life I have fought the vile socialistic policies that once governed our home, stagnating growth and consolidating power into corrupt government coffers. Today is the beginning of a new age in which Private Entities, both small and great, can enjoy the freedom that Nature grants us!"

He was received with astounding applause after the remarkable speech, which was broadcast to record breaking numbers. His promise to reduce Big Government has been highly successful since he entered Office late last year. Breaking News:

ASCENSION (AP) – CEO Tyler Extasis is presumed dead in a massive explosion that destroyed the Eastern side of the Capitol Pyramid, seat of Caelestius government. Over three hundred State Officials and personnel were killed in the attack, orchestrated by an extremist group known for its violent Anti-Capitalistic beliefs.

Emergency Law has been declared in Ascension as Private Military and Police shut all access into or out of the city. Just two hours ago, an emergency Board meeting was held in an undisclosed location beneath the city, appointing the next in line for CEO: Rex Mundi, former Vice President of Foreign Affairs.

“Today is a tragic day in our history, for myself and millions more. We were not just attacked physically, but for our very ideals and way of life…” CEO Mundi stated in his first national address today. “…My mission is restoring Order to Caelestius, famous for being a Free Capitalist Society amidst the Socialistic undertones in World at large. I will excise those hostile groups who wish to undermine our Freedom through jealous violence and grievious injury.”

When questioned about his feelings toward CEO Tyler Extasis, known for reducing the Income Tax to 0% and reducing unemployment during his prodigious term, Mundi replied:

“CEO Extasis was a great leader, one who opened up social mobility to all citizens. I will do my best to continue his legacy and bring forth a new, safer age of Freedom in Caelestius.”
