Home (public) Beta, how home is shapin up

after being one of the lucky few to have tested home i have to say it will be HUGE!!! one minor problem i and many others will have is not being able to "explore" your friends personal spaces without an invite and even then your buddy has to be with you...a great aspect of home is that it really lets you get to know your "virtual friends" better as you can only describe yourself so much in words while home will let people see your dress sense, music taste and even decorative skills...sony fans will finally be Home

OMG. Went in the "New" home last night that Phil showed at E3. You lot are in for a treat. Can't say alot but there is now Chess and Drafts tables by the fish pond. Say no more. Stunning.

Yeah downloaded that update aswell mate and it looks great, thats all I can say, you lot certainly will be in for a treat

I agree with Rogue though, I don't think we'll see Home this year but I hope I'm proved wrong...

I'd be very shocked if we don't and I don't understand why you'd think that as the new build feels 100% with no crashing or lag at all.

Just my opinion mind but I can't see what more they need to do???
I guess it's down to what they have sorted with the background stuff thouigh, like joining games etc.

When is the public beta? Think they let us know at the show next week.

well asking the reps last night and the 3speech event , which was a sound night ......

they more or less said there defo be no home befor the end of october , and hinted probly not till next year, tho expect a anouncement on this at TGS.

my guess the public beta will be rolled out .

was a good night , and Andy Serkis, the actor who 'played' Gollum was there giving a little chat about his role in heavenly sword.

I'm loving the new look Kris, far better than the old one and loving the the fact you can play chess and drafts, I'll say no more

I'm really not sure we'll see it this year mainly because I expected the public beta to be well underway especially as it had an October release. Looks like the public beta will start in October with an official release in December/January? Who knows? Thats my take on it anyway, for what its worth.

Have to get on for a game. Not chess, I'm to stupid for that.LOL
