blindmonkey has got it now and me mate ash got it today aswell so thats 3 of ya i know that has it so far!

what i like about shift is you have to do some proper tuning to some of the cars to get the best handling for each car!

Dev may have a race but I want to have a blast on sp just to get the feel of it.

Aren't NFS games generally a bit pants?

The thing about this need for speed game is that it's not a nfs game, just has the name.

Totally agree and ALL the reviews say the same but I must admit I'm, after extended play, starting to feel it's a bit like most other racing games, all be it with some very nice graphics and touches.

Had I played a demo for any time I think I'd have gone for Dirt 2.
James was saying that NFS was a bit like Grid. In some ways I'd agree but NFS's handling is better imo.

One thing to say on all this...................roll on GRAN TURISMO 5.

The graphics really are something special, I play every race in cockpit view.
The game is bloody difficult.

Do you know what m8? I'm the same on this. I was doing fine..............then I've hit a wall with cars leaving me standing. I have the Renault Megane as we have one.lol Is that a shit car?

Shift is quite good tbh im enjoying it far more then say the likes of GRID which i had on the 360 last year and that game just got dull after just a couple of days and the fact that it's car physics were pretty average made it a bad driving experience IMO.

Shift when driving in the cockpit view is pretty darn good! its mental infact when trying with a lambo or a mclaren F1 which go too bloody fast but love it

so IMO it has the best sense of speed iv had in any racer when driving in the cockpit view maybe the F1 game on ps3 is quite close tho.

The online in shift is good fun most of the time but sumtimes get the odd person who cant drive for shit and then they just try and start slamming most of us into walls , barriers etc tho sometimes they totally miss and go straight into a wall or a barrier themselfs lol which leads to them quitting the race!

tuning certain cars tho when done right deffo helps improve handling alot better around corners so if anyone is having trouble just have a look online for sumones set up and it may well make ya enjoy it alot more!!

Kris i aint sure on that car mate iv not tested it yet and my first car was the bmw 135i i found it to be quite quick and gd solid handling , but i gotta say id recommend trying the porsche 911 GT when u get enough dollars im at just over 1 million now which i think iv mostly got from when racing online

The cockpit view in the Maserati around a tight twisty track is just insane.
It's like sitting on a tea tray at 200mph, you feel every bump.

yeh was pretty weird looked like u were doin like 5mph when doing around 50 or 60 lol i dont think its nothing to do with who host the races kris as i been the host for loads of games and it pretty much mostly runs fine.

someone else on a forum mentioned about getting the same slowdown but in the single player! they said it only did it a couple of times, they have completed most of the events already

were all have to get on it tonight and see how it goes maybe we can have a grannys racing tour round the london river lol
