Right it's almost time for the PAL version of the best game on the PS3 so far, imo! I have still got the asia import version of this game but will be ebaying it shortly in order to get the pal version!

Who else will be getting this for some online vs and tournies?

It really is a superb extremely addictive sports game and I look forward to thrashing you all online!!!

I've had it preordered with Gameplay for weeks, the 28th can't come soon enough.

And I'm not sure there'll be too bad a thrashing, I've had a helluva lot of practice on the PSP version.

I've played it since March 2006, 2-3 times a week, every week.

I haven't even played the full PS3 version, but i already agree with you that it's the best game.

GT5 Prologue on the same day though. ;)

How do you find the new shot system?

I see it's out in the states on the 18th but I'm not sure the online will be worldwide or zonal!? My guess is that it will probably in zones so I will hold out for the PAL version!

I tried the new shot system a couple of times in the demo, it's harder to get the power right (especially putting), but i get Perfect Impact 99% of the time.

Nar just joking. BUT if this game came out two months ago I'd get it. There are soooo many games over the next few weeks with RSV2 at the top of the list.
Fight Night is one of the best sports games I've ever played and when I get spare time I will be on that. I'd love to try this but far to many games. :(

i wont say FN3 is pants i thought it was a good game to play depends what type of games ya like i mean golf and boxing are so different, i enjoy them both lol anyways iv alway's liked everybody's golf game's there pretty fun!

the demo was cool and have thought about getting the full game but it seems to have landed in at the wrong time for me as im looking to get GT5 P and Vegas 2 but i shall see how much it is and hope the online is pretty stable and well made.

But as i am a golfer and love golf games im pretty sure i'll be getting this game sometime this year :) :cool:

I played the PSP version against my brother the other day on wireless, so much fun.

I guess the Tournament will work like the PSP one, where you just play your round as you like, and after each hole you see how your opponent is doing?

That was a damn Water Hazard.
The South Alps is the easiest course in the game though, just playing that for fun.

That would be good we should try and start doing some tornies for a few games really it would make it alot more fun :)

you can either do 40 player tournies where you sign up for a tee time then come back 5mins before it starts or 8 player tournies where you can see each players shot ball as you play your own! This makes for a very quick fun golf game, hopefully there will be some extra modes on the pal version!

The asian version is very stable online!

I was only joking about FN3, I had it on the 360 and enjoyed it! I would say it has a limited lifespan compared toEBG tho which never seems to get boring imo!

Yeah it's price for me. If I can pick it up for under £30 then I'll try it.

Both GT5:P and Everybody's Golf 5 preordered from them.

Just like places like GAME and Shopto, i get my games on the Thursday.

Has everyone got skype? otherwise it's a no no for me.

I agree to an extent Kris and believe voice chat should be present in all games. However I would say it's not vitally important on EG online! I have been playing the Jap version and the rounds are quick and fun online. Taunting your opponents via text is good fun (ok it's not the same as verbally abusing them) but it doesn't distract from the game!

Rent it Kris and I reckon that will convince you to buy it! Yes it's a pity about the chat but don't let it put you off from what I believe is the most addictive game on next gen consoles!

I do have skype tho I don't have anyone else on it apart from you Kris!!!

I can't wait to get this, is the 28th good friday? and do shops open that day lol i don't know but if like you say game get them in a day before then i might go for that.

Im thinking about getting this now after reading at a thread over at psu forum's it seem's it's a very solid good game! and alot of people are saying the online is great and the lobby system works better then most other game's out there.

Also quite alot of positive solid review's that help's more but the past game's were great anyway.

vegas 2 is slowly letting me down i could not get in many game's yesterday also getting kicked back to the menu is very annoying! i like some of the new maps aswell but it needs fixing online and i know it will be a while before it even does :what:

as for everybodys golf no coms = me not buy :D hope it does have coms then ill think about it.

yeah first day with the game rogue it was fine for me but after that it has been abit poor not being able to get in rooms and when i get in 1 i get kicked sometime's back to the main menu :what: i'll give it a few more days and see how it goes tho.

i dont think comms will bother me if there not in the game really infact i dont hardly ever use comms in sports game's i never used them on fifa or TW games. but apart from that at the price im getting it for i think it's good enough at 30 quid.

Well done dev, the more of us with it, the better our tournaments will be.

I've made 3- 4 new friends last night and the online structure is class after you get use to it! We should find a fairly quiet lobby and stick to that for meets! Absolutely brilliant game, just so addictive!

Munkai i saw you in the lobby but then you went off somewhere lol i just ended up playing a few games with a bunch of random people who all seem to be fun and nice to play with, the lobbys are pretty cool its like a mini version of home really with your own character walking around talking to others and joining in games and etc.

Gonna give single player a few hours worth and unlock more stuff!
