Title: Help with NAT type!

Jules2007UK - February 2, 2010 01:16 PM (GMT)
Hi guys, recently purchased a T-mobile mobile broadband sharedock. Basically its a router which allows you to plug a dongle directly into it, and then connect to it wirelessly(or wired) with PS3.

- I have manually configured my PS3's network settings so that it has a static IP address of 192.168.1.101.

- I have enabled uPnP on both my PS3 and my router settings.

- My PS3's static IP is in the DMZ of the router (all ports should be open)

I am still getting NAT type 3. After looking around for serveral hours at content on the net - tutorials, forums etc.. I still cannot figure out why I am not achieving a NAT type 2.

I already tried disabling uPnP and forwarding the ports manually but to no avail...still NAT type 3. Anybody got any comments or suggestions in order to help me achieve a NAT2?

Thanks in anticipation :)

(edit: Router firewall disabled)
