The StoryA Secret Organization called Sargess is a group that collects hidden treasures
that have suddenly begun to dissappear all over the world. Treasures such as
relics from early civilations, sunken ships, unexplored regions, and fossils of
animals long gone.
A "Treasure" called Precious has been found, a treasure with a great and
dangerous power. Sargess discovered this Precious and organized a secret team
to defend. They are the GouGou Sentai Boukenger, their adventure starts now.

BoukenRed (Satoru Akashi) - Mitsuomi Takahashi
"Being the Hot Adventurer, he ends up being the leader of the Boukengers. He is
a former treasure hunter, being a resourceful person and having found results
in several of his ruin excavations. His alias is "Immortal Fang"."
BoukenBlue (Shouta Mogami) - Masashi Mikami
"He is called the Height Adventurer, a former secret investigator. Being called
a "spy", and he is the information expert of the team. He is also a specialist
in personal computers and digital."
BoukenBlack (Masumi Inou) - Yasuka Saito
"On the reverse side of society, he is called the Fast Adventurer. He was able
to adopt the title of a treasure hunter from his techniques of searching ruins
and excavation, but he's not as good as Red."
BoukenYellow (Natsuki Mamiya) - Chise Nakamura 
"She is called the Strong Adventurer. She met Black long ago. But, her memory
has been lost. What happened is still uncertain."
BoukenPink (Sakura Nishibori) - Haruka Suenaga 
"She is the Deep Adventurer, being the sub-instructional person on the team.
She was a former self-defense force official, and she was raised as an elite of
combat. She is also good at handling machines, shooting, and military arts."

The VillainsAt the time of writing, at least two separate villain groups have been
confirmed. There may be more later.
The ones we know about are the Gordom Civilization and the Jaryu Tribe.
From Gordom:
大神官ガジャ (Daijinkan Gajya) - Great God Official Gajya. He is most
probably the leader of Gordom Civilization.
He's played by Ootaka Hiroo 大高洋夫. 47 this year, born in Niigata on
27/6/1959. Previous works include: Kodomo Hoshii na (1990) and Tahoiya (1993)

"Large God Gordom" (Kyo Kami Gordoomu). Possibly the first MotD.
Combatant Kaasu (Sentouin Kaasu). Footsoldiers. (Thanks Merlin)
The Jaryu Tribe
"Creation King Dragon Won" (Souzou Ou Ryu Won). Probably the head of the
Jaryu Clan but maybe just an MotD.
"Great Jaryuu Doldo" (Dai Jaryu Dorudo). Probably an MotD affiliated to
the Jaryu.
Members of the Jaryu Tribe. These may be footsoldiers or generals.
The MechsMain
The 'megazord' is called the 'DaiBouken' (Great Adventure). Its weapons are the
'Gou Picker' and the 'Gou Scooper'. The two weapons can combine to form the
'GouGou Sword'.
The mech itself consists of the five 'GouGou Vehicles', which also combine to
form the 'GouGou Trailer'.
Red: GouGou Dump
Black: GouGou Formula
Blue: GouGou Gyro
Yellow: GouGou Dozer
Pink: GouGou Marine Diver

Auxillary
These are AbaRanger style auxillary mechs. They attach to the DaiBouken as arms
to allow for different finishers.
They are:
Gougou Drill
Gougou Shovel
Gougou Mixer
Gougou Crane
The Weapons
All of the Boukengers wield guns known as Survibusters , which can be changed
into sword weapons known as Surviblades. They also have Scope Shots, which can
fire grappling hooks, magnets, or bolts of energy. The Scope Shot can combine
with the Survibuster to form the Survibuster Sniper Mode.
The individual weapons are as follows:
Red: Bouken Bo
Black: Radial Hammer
Blue: Blow Knuckle
Yellow: Bucket Scoopers
Pink: Hydro Shooter
And the moment it is not clear whether or not the unique weapons combine.

The Henshin Device
The Henshin Device (A GPS/Phone) is called the Accellular. It is many things in
one, including a compass, a phone, a blacklight, and even a top spinner! On it,
each number correspond to:
1 = Dump
2 = Formula
3 = Gyro
4 = Dozer
5 = Marine
6 = Drill
7 = Shovel
8 = Mixer
9 = Crane
0 = ?
GO!: Launches chosen Gougou Vehicle(s)
Combine: Combines chosen Gougou Vehicles into Dai Bouken. Gougou Dump, Formula,
and Gyro must be present in order for the combination to take effect.
Sun: Transform into Boukenger form

The official website
http://www.tv-asahi.co.jp/bouken/ (credit to Urutora of HJ for the heads up) is now up. There's not much info on it yet, but it does talk of some kind of event at the Tokyo Dome in early February. A
Babelfish translation tells me that there will be a press conference featuring the actors, a stage show likely featuring all 30 reds and a performance of the theme tune.
