For many decades now, sub-colors of the original dragons have shown up. A dark-blue black with silver decoration, a creamy brown, a near-black blue, and a patched matte bronze known as a 'calico' are our "special" mutations. There may be more in the future. There have been no mutations in whers or firelizards as of yet. Please note, color mutations cannot be created by members. Members may create a size mutation, however, that does not exceed 46 meters in length without being questioned. We're a big-big-big Weyr. We're pretty much a continent. Dusk:Dusks are called such for their likeness to the dusk coloration. Variants of blues that are sometimes powdery and sometimes very dark, they usually have a tiny of matte bronzing into their hide. They are often very large, but they are not aggressive and are in fact, very much male. They are often the size of a 9th Pass Bronze. They often have the same varied personality set of a blue, but they tend most often to be very relaxed daydreamers, one of the reasons they were named after the setting of the sun aside from their mimicking colors. They are a very calm, sleepy bunch. Gender: Males Chase/Rise: Chase Average Size: Blue sizing, though can be bigger based on the plot. Never smaller. Impresses to: Female & Male, all sexualities CalicoFemale, they seem to have almost the dominance of a bronze with the way they hold themselves against the metallic boys. Many have patches of metallic bronze in their hide, some a matte orange, cream, and brown. The shinier they are, usually the more dominant of a personality they've got. Unlike their aggressive greensisters, though, they're far more calculating. They often Impress homosexual males with the capabilities of a leader, and they do clutch but often the clutches die out. Gender: Female Chase/Rise: Rise Average Size: Brown & Bronze sizing Impresses to: Males, those with the traits of a bronzor but the gender-preference of a greenrider
Cream:Creams are larger but built for speed. They are a hermaphroditic bunch, rarely ever Rising unless they feel it would very much benefit theirs. They have a tendency to have restless and unhappy riders, mostly due to their extremely aggressive nature. Creams are a pale off-white with brown patching, usually matching a brown in size but not in personality. They are cruel, manipulative, and even willing sometimes to flame another dragon straight from the skies. Creamriders, if they do not have one naturally, have to develop a strong will to stand up to their dragons early. It is also of note that a Cream has never had a daughter before. Gender: Hermaphroditic, prefers male pronoun most of the time. Chase/Rise: Prefers Chase, only Rise around 3 times in many decades. Most are more male than female. Average Size: Large Blue-Brown sizing. Impress to: Strong-willed females and lonely boys Hematite:Hematite's are optimistic, fun-loving, happy-go-lucky girls. A dark, dark blue-black they have silver lining and conveniently always see the silver lining in most occasions. Even with the size gap, Hematites have never gotten bigger than a 9th Pass Blue, and they are extremely fast individuals most days. They clutch almost as often as Green girls do, though rarely, if ever, has a Hematite thrown a male color. They're not especially valued due to their lack of producing anything but calicos, creams, more hematites and greens. Gender: Female Chase/Rise: Rises Average Size: Green-to-Blue sizing, never larger. Impresses to: Both Genders
