Lisilra watched her sky moved through the air as she sat on the docks placed high above the water. She pretended her feet could touch the surface, that if she raised her body, she would be standing. Maybe if she could stand, if she could walk towards the water and simply step, she could move herself outward, follow the boats. She hummed to herself as she moved her bare feet, sighing to herself before she looked down. She'd put her faith into the ocean before to give her back her lover, and he'd come home as wrecked as the fishing ship he'd left upon. The water was a deadly figure as much as it was a savior.

Today the water had provided just the perfect gales, sending the boats into the harbor with little rowing required. The boats filled with cargo pulled into the canal, guided by the lowering water towards the boathouse. Lisilra had been asked to play flagship, for upon dragonback she'd guided all the ships to their destinations. Her Ensanth was small, occasionally she'd have to between and rest. She didn't have the stamina to keep following for the entire trip, but she'd done her job well enough. The boats made it safe into the harbor without anyone needing to work a lighthouse. For now, Ozanath Weyr failed to have a lighthouse due to the storm weather that seemed to occur every winter.

The waters below were warmed, heated by workers who aimed to make it safe for the riders who needed to get wet to bathe their dragons. Ensanth was resting on the island across the way, tired but interested in watching the SeaCrafters unload the crates that would feed the Weyr come summer. Dried goods and wine crates, new clothes and baking supplies were being carried off, some by other dragonriders, some by sailors and others by average people.

She pulled her hair, loose for once, out of her face as her bronze firelizard, Arc, flashed from between to curl into her lap like a child being coddled by it's mother. She stroked him mechanically as her seagreen eyes continued to look towards the water. Oh, how she'd jump if she were not tied to them...

    Lisilra, LisilraMine, Lisilra!

The greenrider looked up, tilting her head slightly towards her dragon. Yes?

The people are taking a break. Go talk to them!

Lisilra sighed, knowing she had nothing else to do even though she didn't wish to move. Ensanth only managed to make her move by added a simple: I'm sure they'll give you foooooood!

The woman finally stood, pulling herself back from the ledge before she walked towards where the others were, sighing as she crossed her arms over her chest and looked towards the sky. It was probably obvious she wasn't used to starting conversation on her own. "Excuse me, I heard there was food over here for the workers?" Arc seemed to getting perky at the thought of food and he trilled, nestling into her crossed arms, onto his back, mimicking an infant.

The work was hard at times, but S'hea liked working; it gave him a sense of purpose, and brought him close to people he would not have otherwise met. Of course S'hea being S'hea, that was few people indeed, and the more he did it, so the number of new people dwindled. And this type of work, too, gave Lureliqeth something to do. She did what she could, which wasn't much, but the little green enjoyed helping and that was what was important.

S'hea dropped (carefully) the last wine crate into place with a sigh. Finally, that was the last of them! Wiping the back of his hand across his brow he looked back to where Lureliqeth was coming in to land on the wall surrounding the harbour, something small clutched in her paws. He tuned himself into her thoughts. Lurel, that looks very nice what you've got there. What is it? he inquired hesitantly of her.

A shiney, she replied, somewhet smugly, showing him a picture of it in her mind. A wine bottle.

Relli dear, that's the fifth bottle now. Can't you collect something else?

He could feel her grumbling rather than hear as she replied with a reluctant Well, ok. For you Shea. But these are still mine!

Of course you can keep them, just no more,
he replied, making his way over to the table where the other workers were gathering. He'd have to climb the wall and get the bottles back at some point, probably while Lureliqeth was asleep, or else she'd never let him get close, the silly girl.

He'd just helped himself to a meatroll and was about to take a bite when a voice behind him had him whirling around to face the owner.

"Hi there!" he beamed at her. But the smile seemed lost, as she wasn't looking at him. Her flitter was though, so he smiled at the bronze instead until she did look at him. "Yeah, there's food here for all. Just help yourself." He peered back at her, searching through his vast memory of names and faces, putting two and two together and getting a string of fives until finally a 4.0 popped up. It was a shame that practically the whole of his memory was devoted to names and faces and not important things like events and tasks. Well, that and the words to various harper songs, but with a voice like his that part of his brain was pretty much wasted.

"You're Lisilra, right? I'm S'hea, nice to meet you," he said jovially, extending a hand should she shake it.
