All answers answered by root admin Abby WHAT'S THE BOARD ABOUT? It's literally what it's name means. "Our Senior Year" refers to the senior year in high school. So that's what the board is mainly about. The senior year of highschool. WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO DO A SENIOR YEAR THEME? I chose to to do a board based on the senior year of high school because ... well, I generally see members gravitating towards the older aged students when they join a high school RP. So I was actually thinking of starting a RPG that only had Juniors & Seniors. It seemed a little iffy to me at first. So I was like, "Hey, why not just seniors?" WHAT IS MILTON ACADEMY? Milton Academy is a boarding school. A very rich, and prestigous school. One of the elite boarding schools in the nation. Mainly rich, pampered kids get in here. Otherwise, kids from around the country get in here by scholarships. Milton Academy students go on to graduate as world leaders, Harvard, or Yale students, or one of the richest, and most respected people of their time. Basically, Milton Academy is one of the best boarding schools around. WHERE IS MILTON ACADEMY LOCATED? Milton Academy is located in San Jose, California. WHY ARE THERE ONLY CANON CHARACTERS? It's more of an organizational thing, and a solution to having unwanted members / ones who use 10 year olds as 19 year olds. I also wanted to keep an equal boy-girl ratio, and an equal amount og members in each clique. This way, every clique has a member, every person has an opposite sex (or same sex) companion, etc. I also just wanted to see how this would work out. CAN WE CHANGE THE FACE CLAIM OF THE CANON? Within reason. If you'd like to change your canon face, PM [abby] with your request. If the face you want to change into is taken by a different canon, then it's a definate no. If the face that you want is not taken, and it's within reason, then it's probably a yes. So it all depends. CAN WE CHANGE THE NAME OF THE CANON? No. This is one thing about the canon characters that you cannot change / have control over. CAN WE HAVE ORIGINAL CHARACTERS? No. I can't stress enough that this is an all canon board. Please respect that and the board in its nature. Original characters are not allowed on an all canon board. Sorry. CAN WE MAKE THE CANON'S HISTORY? Of course! Once you have signed up for the character, he or she is completely under your control. Who their parents are, what they went through in their past, how they are now, pet peeves, likes, dislikes; all of that is yours to decide. Have fun. ;] WHY ARE THERE NO SUBPLOTS? Simply because I didn't want to cage you, as a member, so much. If I made you sign up as a pre made character, then I might as well let you decide their storylines, right? This character is yours once you're accepted. Do what you like with them. Make them get pregnant, make them fall in love, make them get heartbroken. Do what you like. ;] WHAT YEAR WERE THE CANON'S BORN? Seeing as this RPG takes places in 2008 - 2009, and they're in their senior year (which means they're 17 & 18), that means all the canons are born in the year 1991.
