ABOUT THE BOARD CATEGORIES

- GENERAL FAN FICS pertain to any ordinary fan fic about One Tree Hill.

- Now, the other boards (Pairings)...

There are 8 pairing categories:

Lucas and Brooke
Nathan and Brooke
Jake and Haley
Lucas and Peyton
Nathan and Peyton
Lucas and Haley
Nathan and Haley
Jake and Peyton

Whatever fan fic pair you are writing about, just make sure you post it in the right board.

- The OTHERS category pertains to fan fics of any pairing or love triangle that is not already a board category (which are the eight pairings above).


HOW TO POST FAN FICS

- In the SUBJECT box, please type in the title of your fan fic and the chapter numbers. It would also be a good idea to put in a RATING of your fan fic.

Ratings:

K, K+, T, M

K - All ages

K+ - Some material may not be suitable for children.

T- Some material may be inappropriate for children under 13

M - Content that is not suitable for people under the age of 17


EXAMPLE: TITLE (Rating) Chapters ([b]X / amount of chapters[/b]....ex. 1/3, 1/1, 2/4)

The reason for the rating is so that we do not have any fans reading things they aren't supposed to (yes, I know that is kind of uncontrollable). Ratings come in handy so that no one will be or feel offended while reading fan fics. But this is optional. M rated fics, previously known as NC-17 fics, are only allowed in the M rated section.

Just make sure you have the title of your fan fic and the chapters in the subject box!


CHAPTERS

You must state the chapter number, and chapter title (if there is one) in the beginning of the chapter/post.

For fan fics that are more than one chapter long, it is advisable to keep all chapters in one thread! All chapters must be in one thread! The only exception to this rule is when a fan fic that is incomplete reaches the 500 post limit. When a thread reaches 500 posts, it automatically closes, therefore the writer can start a new thread to continue his/her fan fiction. If this happens to you, please make a note of what chapters your first and second thread consist of.

These rules are so that we can keep the fan fic board as organized as possible, so writers and readers can navigate the board easier!


REVIEWS

You can submit reviews to the author by sending them a message. To do this, click on their screen name (Author Column) and you will come upon a page of information. Under the contact information click on send me a message.

It's great for an author to receive reviews, so he/she can get more ideas or improve on his/her writing.


FINISHED FAN FICS

When you are finished with a fan fic it is important to make a note of it on your subject line. Please type in capitol letters: COMPLETED. This is so that the moderators can see that your fan fic is finished and that they can MOVE it to the archives. Completed fics over a month old will be moved to the archive.

This applys to all threads. Only time it will be moved sooner than a month might be because the forum is getting too big and was moved to save room

You can also ask to edit your fic if it's in the archive.


UNFINISHED FAN FICS

Is for fics that are moved to save room. If your fic is moved here and you would like to continue writing the fic contact one of the admin so they can move it back. Just make sure to tell us what forum it is in, what page it's on, and the title of the fic. If you don't tell us all of that then it won't be moved until you give us that info.

Fics in that haven't been updated in over 6 months will be deleted so always make sure to keep a backup of your stories!

Important: PLAGIARISM and STEALING of Fan Fics is NOT welcomed! Taking the hard works of the writers' is down right wrong.


BANNERS

Banners can be no bigger than 600x300 px. If the banners in your signatures are bigger than this they won't appear correctly on the boards. And you can have no more than 5 banners in your siggy. We do this so the pages in the thread do not expand and making it harder to read.


HELP

This section is for you to contact a mod of a certain forum. Please do not abuse this section. And don't rush us to get back to you to answer your questions. I mean it might take us 2-3 days to get back to you. It depends on what we have to do. So, please ask us anything you need to know here.
