The CVP-03 is an advancement from the original CVP-01 concept. Though it's setup is nearly identical, the CVP-03 has a few key modifications taking it a step further. The front sensor of the V2 vest has been modified to a dome-style sensor. It has been converted to a clear plastic dome that houses a Red LED Hit Light and a TSOP34838 Sensor. This makes the V2 front vest easier to hit, especially when the wearer is using a rifle-style weapon. This was created initially to accomodate for the large size of Bazookafied's new main weapon. This vest serves as a concept design for this new sensor setup and it is likely that others will soon follow suit.

In addition to the first LC sensor to use a dome-style construction, the CVP-03 is also the first LC vest to mount a flashlight. Previous vests have been able to carry flashlights. The CVP-03 can still hold two flashlights in the right pouch but now it can also mount a specially designed LED light with a velcro backing. This light shines a powerful flood of illumination and has a large, easy-to-activate power button. The Velcro backing makes it so that this light can be mounted on any one of the CVP-03's many velcro strips located on various points on the vest.

This design has refined the original concept of the CVP-01 and had served as the personal vest for Bazookafied. It is now available in the regular armory for use. This vest is specifically designed for right-handed players using large rifles with a stock.
