This is a Red Dot scope designed speficially for use with N-Strike Nerf weapons on their accessory rails. Because the OLCA has fielded so many Nerf gun recasings, many of those weapons still have their rails intact and can utilize this cheap alternative to purchasing a scope or reflex sight. The Pinpoint Sight is powered by 2 x AAA batteries and comes packaged with 10 Nerf Darts. It can be picked up pretty much wherever Nerf Guns are sold, though many local stores sell out of them quickly. They're should certainly not be considered as a serious Red Dot scope for use in games, but for those with Nerf Recasings in need of a quick way to aim, it certainly delivers.



Here are the basic Pros and Cons of using this Red Dot specifically with the OLCA:

Pros:

• Accurate
• Relatively cheap
• Easy to attach

Cons:

• Only for N-Strike rails
• Visable to your Opponent
• Bleeds through housing
• Too bright in complete darkness

It's a quick solution for a Red Dot, but at nightfall, it'll probably do you more harm than good if you're not careful with it. It's easy to turn on and off so I suppose you could just keep it off until you need it, but that's still a bit of a pain. If you've got a Nerf gun recasing and need a simple solution for aiming, this guy works.
