Directions from 168th and Harrison

The Misison Park West is our main location where we play. Directions from 168th and Harrison in Omaha are as follows

From 168th and Harrison, take Harrison West
On the right is a sign that says "Mission Park". This is VanBuren Drive.
Turn Right on Van Buren Drive (will take you north)
Go through the "Traffic Calming Device", still on VanBuren (north)
On your left is the park. There is no parking lot, so park on the street with the rest of our cars.

Details of our Park

This is where we meet before every game. Its on the side of Van Buren Dr. This is also where you go after you've been eliminated from the match.

This is an image looking south on the northern walk. The northern walk isn't generally used during matches, as it simply connects the meeting place to the actual park.

This is a shot looking south on the northernmost point of the Eastern walk. The branch coming off of the path at the bottom of the image will take you north to the meeting place. The other part of that branch turns into the Western Walk.

A look to the west from the middle of the Eastern Walk. You can see the Western Walk from here.

The "S" curve going over the famed "Ditch of Doom". This is located in the southern part of the Eastern walk. This image is looking north.

An inside peek at the drain that is a part of the "Ditch of Doom". This drain goes underneath the "S" curve.

There is technically a southern walk, but since there are so many landmarks for it, using the term "Southern Walk" is too inaccurate. Here is a panoramic shot of the Fort Bridge, the Fort, and the "Bridge of Death". You are looking north, so on the right is the southernmost point of the Eastern Walk, and the path on the left takes you over the "Bridge of Death" which takes you to the Western Walk.

The famed "Bridge of Death", who's name was inspired by "Monty Python and the Holy Grail". There is no real way off of it and it is easy to be hit while you're on it, plus its construction makes it very boomy when you walk over it. You can easily hear people walking over it from almost anywhere in the park, hence the name.

"The Flank" is not only a strateigical maneuver, but an actual location. This is a look from the southernmost point of the Western Walk looking south at "The Flank". "The Flank" follows the "Bridge of Death" from the Western walk directly to the fort via a large hill that overlooks the park.

The Field on top of "The Flank". This shot is taken from the west looking east.

The Deadliest part of this entire park: the Slipzone. Recently dammed up, this spot used to have running water going over the path. BryGuy took his fall at this very spot.

The creek that runs through the Slipzone. Its a nice area to hide and even better for a photographer!

The Field and the Western Walk looking north. Theres hardly any cover here, so unless you're moving through it, you're dead in it.

This is our Park for good reason. Its got a wide variety of terrains and its size can accommodate just about any size of players we have. From a simple 3 on 3 to a full blown 10 on 10, this park has served as our "Fight Night" location since we started in the Summer of '06.
