APPLICATIONS All applications will be posted and processed here. Make sure to follow the template, and remember to only post a completed app, otherwise it will be automatically deleted. Also, keep in mind, the admins feel that the most important part of the application is PERSONALITY. If you think you can get by writing a short personality and then a five-page detailed history you are sorely mistaken. In fact, having to read five pages of history will probably only succeed in making us very, very angry. So watch out, kids.

DIAGON ALLEY A twisting, cobbled street lined with shops and cafes, Diagon Alley is the most popular wizarding shopping district in London. The entrance is concealed behind a world-famous pub called the Leaky Cauldron. Whether you come here to run a few quick errands or to leisurely window shop, you're bound to run into someone you know - which can be both a good and a bad thing.

KNOCKTURN ALLEY Is your hand of glory missing a finger? Knockturn Alley - the darker, creepier offshoot of Diagon Alley - is the best place to buy a replacement. A narrow lane full of stores specializing in the Dark Arts, as well as a few bars and restaurants where the old pureblood families gather to reminisce about the "good old days" when Voldemort was still in power.

MINISTRY OF MAGIC HEADQUARTERS Watch your tax dollars at work in this elaborate underground complex located right in the heart of London. Just leave it to the government to screw everything up. Even the Ministry of Magic Headquarters itself is no longer a safe place to be. With rumors running rampant about a revolution for the purification of wizard blood gathering strength from within the Ministry itself, your most dangerous enemy could be sitting only one cubicle away.

MUGGLE LONDON Even though it's inhabited by muggles, London is still a magical place to be. And many wizarding folk enjoy donning muggle attire to enjoy all the sight-seeing, restaurants, and shopping that London has to offer. Some wizards even choose to live amongst the muggles, if they can manage to afford the steep cost of renting a flat.

HOGWARTS SCHOOL OF WITCHCRAFT & WIZARDRY The famous Hogwarts castle, scene of the climatic final battle of the Second War. Some former students return to the school as professors, others just as visitors. On the weekends, it is not uncommon to spot small groups of adult wizards crossing the castle grounds on a pilgrimage to visit the grave of former Headmaster Albus Dumbledore

GODRIC'S HOLLOW A small village that is home to both wizards and muggles. Godric's Hollow received its notoriety on the night Voldemort appeared there to murder the infant Harry Potter. The village cemetery and village square where a memorial dedicated to the Potters was placed are both popular destinations for wizard visitors.

ENGLISH COUNTRYSIDE The spaciousness of the English countryside is well suited to the needs of wizarding families who have chosen to live "away from it all." Protected by enchantments from prying muggle eyes, wizard residences ranging in size from cozy cottages to sprawling manors are dispersed throughout the land.

HACKNEY Are you muggle-born or just not on the Ministry's good side, i.e a known member of the Resistance? Chances are, you've been sent to live here. Hackney is a borough in London that has a reputation for crime. Since so many wizards have been sent here, the population has gone up, and so has the crime rate. Most of the wizards now living there reside in what's called the Ghettos of Hackey. There's also a curfew at midnight; anyone caught outside of their houses will have to deal with ministry officials. Overall, it's not the nicest place to be.

GENERAL CHAT Rant, rave, ramble. Post out of character discussions here that are simply too big to cover in the CBOX. Just try to steer clear of polarizing topics like politics and religion. This isn't the place for deep philosophical discussions.
