Frequently Asked Questions about Emulators,Sprites, and ROM's Q: What are those cool images from the Video Games called? A: There called Sprites. Q: How do I get some? A: You need to get an Emulator and some ROM's to rip sprites. Q: What are Emulators and ROM's? A: Emulators are like systems that you can play in your computer and Rom's are like the Game Boy Game Cartridges. Q: Are Roms and Emulators Illegal? A: ROM's are Illegal but there not if you own the original game. As for the Emulators, there not illegal to own. Q: Where can I get Emulators? A: You can get Emulators of all kinds at Emulator-Zone Q: Where can i get ROM's? A: I'm sorry, but I can't give you a link to ROM sites. If I do the InvisionFree staff will shut this forum down. Now you wouldn't want that to happen, eh? Q: I have an Emulator and a ROM, now how do I get sprites? A: You have to take a snapshot and then get out MS Paint or any other image editing program and take out the background and you've got yourself a sprite! Q: Is there an easyer way to capture the sprites? A: Yes, there is a program called Fastone Image capturer. You can download it here: Fastone.org Q: I have the spritvisionfree.com/NintendoNetwork/index.php?showforum=147]Sprite's Board[/URL] and post a topic or a post and there will be an option entitled "Upload Image" you just drag your file there and click upload and it will be automatically posted.
