The Swift Attacker

Name: Blackerst.
Gender: Male.
Age: 1 year old.
Species: Pygmy Glaucidium californicum.
Group/Rank: Dappelwing's band, unknown rank.

Appearance:
Dark grey wings, back, and head. Mostly grey breast with some white streaks. Coal black head spots. Body is a little darker colored than the picture shown. Blackerst. Small gash on lower belly with a patch of feathers grown over it. Beak is a grayish yellow with a few scratches from attacking owls. Dim, distant-looking yellow eyes. Other owls (owls that are not battle hardend) have said that when enclosed in his unblinking gaze feel uncomfortable, vulnerable, and defensive.

Very strong for the type of species with powerful wings, daunting talon grip. Talons are a soft yellow, and have been honed to fine points (just as sharp as battle claws). Very good flyer with some noise. Wings are a darker gray than the body with light gray streaks. Around his port leg is a hollow-tip needle strapped to the leg with some grass, the tip has a deadly poison that is highly toxic and will kill within minutes of injection depending on owl size and age(made from the juices of the plant Deadly Nightshade [Atropa belladonna]). Owns no battle claws yet.

Personality:
The silent type, not much of a talker in fear of personal safety unless it is a trusted friend. Has little feelings for what or who he attacks or kills, but greives for friends he losses. No fear of owls larger than himself or smaller or more well trained than himself. Has up most respect for other known hire claws he meets. Wishs to devise a clan of hire claw assassins, but currently planning to join Dapplewing.

Mainly a loner with no intentions on obtaining a mate, but will ally with bands for the right to hunt and nest in the bands' territory. Deep thinker, good at improvising, knows little of how to read, knows much of battle stratigies and of vital ways of incapacitating enemy owls with one attack. Knows a fair amount about poisons and their antidotes. Knows more of herbology from tutering under sky medics from the Frostbeaks in the Northern Kingdoms (learned how to read more at the Glauxian Brothers Retreat in the Bitter Sea).

Gives only to who gives also. Hire claws, warrior owls of the Northern Kindoms (Kingdoms of N'yrthgar) and a rogue hire claw named Sash were his inspirations to become a hire claw himself. If hired to spy or assassinate he will do it without question (unless question is because lack of given information from contact). Only situation where he will not be hired in is if to assassinate a friend.

Sorry if the appearence and personality seem short and breif, but my ability to give 2 to 5 paragraphs (5 to 6 sentences a paragraph) of detail in that certain property is low. I can try to make it longer over time but that is not certain.
