So Newborn has, slowly but surely, come to a close, at least for now. We lasted a year, and guys, it was a good year, a year full of disappointments and triumphs, incredible plots and even more incredible members. We would not have been here, ever, without the people who worked and bled and loved for this place, and that's a fact. Thank you, all of you, even those of you who were only with us for a short time. You made Newborn, more than anything else, a place worth writing for, a place worth creating characters for, and a place worth holding out for.

Unfortunately, we do feel that our activity is too low right now to recover sufficiently. All three of us are in school, and running a board is hard work, although it can certainly be genuinely fun, albeit time-consuming work. Newborn, at least in this incarnation, has run her course, and we are thankful for how really good and lovely that course has been. We do intend to revamp Newborn and begin again, but we don't intend to rush the process. We intend to return with a resurrected board you guys will love, and that will take time. So, for now, adieu, and thank you. We love you guys. <#
