Of course, like all sites, we have rules. You must read these before you post. Failure to do so can result in punishment, including suspension and banning. *gasp* but we don't want banned members. We want you to have a good membership. The rules are as follows:

1. No leet. Leet is a computer language done by substituting numbers for letters. Example:
Gre@+ j0b m@n! KU+GW!
In English:
Great job man! KUTGW!
Leet is completely and totally against the rules. Some people can't read it. That includes me.

2. No pics a six-year old shouldn't see.

3. No words a six-year old shouldn't hear. (or read...)
(Use the Grandma test for these above. She dosen't want to see it, don't post it.)

4. Advertising:
Advertise ONLY in the proper forum. No PM advertising.

5. Politics.
If you want to quote a politics statement in your sig, PM AN ADMIN FIRST. They must approve all requests for political statements.

6. Double Posting.
This is another thing that is completely and totally against the rules. The only exception to this is when writing an epic, comedy, or short story.

7. Mods.
Some people think Mods are big bullies who like to push people around. Not so. Here, if you have a complaint about a Mod's behaviour, PM it to an Admin.

8.Noob calling.
No calling people noobs.And no insulting them like this:
"You're mother sucks cause you're a noob!"
or:
"Shut up noob,and keep out of other people's topics."
or anything else offending cause you thing they're a noob.Or else you get level 5 punishment!


9.Contests.
No un-official contests. if you have a contest idea, PM an Admin. All contets must be approved by an Admin. Any posting of un-official contests will result in a Level 3 punishment. *gasp*

10. Signature Rules
No sigs ABOVE SIX LINES. This does apply to Admins and Mods, though not as strictly. No inappropriate material.

11.Extra Accounts
No extra accounts without permission from the head admin.

PUNISHMENTS:
Punishments vary, depending on the offense.
Level 1 punishment: A warning PM
Level 2 punishment: An increase of your warning level, and a warning PM.
Level 3 punishment: An increase in warn level, a warning Pm, and a 1-day suspension
Level 4 punishment: An increase in warning level, a warning PM, and a 2-day suspension
Level 5 punishment: Suspension for unlimited days, a PM, and a warn level increase.
Level 6 punishment: Utter banning.

No Flaming. Flaming is making fun of someone else, insulting them, etc. Even if you were flamed at first, DO NOT RESPOND WITH FLAMING. You will be punished. Respond calmly. If the flamer becomes a problem, report them to an admin or a mod. Flaming is a major offense, and if commonly punished with account suspension. Length of the suspension depends on the severity of the flaming.

Keep spamming to a minimum. Generally, if your post has less than 5 words, it's spam. Sometimes, you really have nothing more to say, and that's all right. But don't say ANNOYING and POINTLESS things like:
"Oooh man, that is sooooo coooooooool!!!!!!!!!!"

Spam isn't a very large offense, you will probably only get a warning level raise. However, offenses add up, so constant spamming could lead to suspension or banning.


This isn't so much of a rule as it is a suggestion. Try to keep emoticon usage down. One or two emoticons per post looks okay, but five or six looks stupid. If you have a 20-line post, then five or six looks fine--but emoticons raise bandwidth, and we want to keep the server FREE.
