So, that was Blake who was calling me from Mermaid Lagoon. Oh, how I had missed him. He actually came swimming with me today. It was nice. Though, I do have to admit, it seems as though something has changed in him. But that could just be...well, you know how Blake is. He looks at girls and he flirts with girls...I just noticed it a bit more today is all. If only there was really something there. If only he felt the same way I do about him.

I almost told him how I feel today. Unfortunately, my mother sent her guards after me and I was called away before I could say anything. That just makes me dislike her even more. I know I shouldn't say such things about my mother, but I can't help it. She called me away from the guy I like just so she wouldn't have to sit alone. She wanted some company. How selfish can one mer be? I mean, I know we tend to be extremely selfish and jealous creatures but still. That's just ridiculous.

Perhaps I'll go and see him on the Jolly Roger. I don't know. I've seemed to have lost my nerve to go and tell him how I feel. Perhaps another day.
